Journey to a New Beginning

Hi Everyone!

I have news to share with everyone today.... I am embarking on a new journey October 1st!!!! I have my flight booked, bags packed, and waiting for takeoff :o) I am anxious~sad & really excited about the next chapter of my life...Where am I going & WHY???? You ask..........Well........I am headed to Anchorage, Alaska....BRRRRR I know....Crazy? slightly lol I am an artist :o) All I am bringing with me is.................1suit case of play clothes ~ 1 case of work suits.....................& ca-doodle of artist supplies...... WHY am I leaving???? Will have to remain secret for a while....

While on my journey I have decided to work on my ~Life Book~ for the next year.....the only supplies I will be working with is in this little carrier LOL :o) {Ekkkkkk} I know... What art supplies am I bringing???? you ask!

My art kit includes...My moleskin, water color crayons, prisma color pencils, paint brushes, pencils, gesso, my collection of copic markers & color guide ....

What is going to happy to my HoneyBee Corner?????? As for now my talented team will inspire you with their works using kits I have given them :o) I am hoping to be settled in by January....Then I will offer new works and Classes for everyone. Kassi and Tammy will lead my wonderful designers for the next few months....

I will see everyone back in January or Sooner :o) Keep Crafting!!!!

I am having a design team call for my new business venture :o) I would love to see some my crafty friends on the team!!!!

Here is your official Honey Bee Corner Classroom DESIGN TEAM CALL!

Honey Bee Corner: Design Team Call ends Saturday, September 17th at Midnight CST.

Honey Bee Corner is a brand new company that teaches online classes using monthly kits. We are looking to add members to its design team! We are selecting members of all skill levels and styles. We are calling all Writers, Video Tutorial Masters, Alter Artists, AND Digi Divas. Members of the The Honey Bee Design Team are always compensated with wonderful products each month, daily exposure on my website, forum, facebook, twitter and blog. All members will receive discounts on all store items.

We are looking for members……

That LOVE stamps, digital images and would love to use Honey Bee Corner class Kits.
Who are willing to promote Honey Bee Corner Classes whenever and where ever possible.
That will turn in their projects in a timely manner and will blog about them (must have a blog). members will be responsible for
Chatting in the Honey Bee Corner Forum, encouraging members and help them as needed on a day to day basis.
Alter Artists would be responsible for 2-4 items per month
Writing Artists would be responsible for 6 blog posts and one news letter per month.
Video Tutorial Master would be responsible for 2 tutorials per month.
Other responsibilities will be given based on the designer's strengths and more details about the position will be given to the designers chosen.
The term will be for 12 months with the possibility of continuing after that.

HOW APPLY:
Register for the Honey Bee Corner Forum *HERE* and start chatting and uploading some projects. We want to get to know YOU and this is an important part of your design team application.
Create one brand new project JUST for this application and email me at sweetmagnoliarose@gmail.com with your pictures. This project must demonstrate your latest style of work
Writers and Video masters add a direct link to your You-tube or blogs.

Blog about your favorite projects you've created, and mention why you would love to be a part of Honey Bee Corner. Post a direct link to your blog post in the Mr. Linky widget below.

Today I have Friend's for a cure~~~~Card that I created for a lucky someone.....I know their many people who battle cancer everyday..I myself have family members afflicted with this illness a couple of them lost the battle some years ago back and my son's Grandma and her son battle it now.... And for this reason...I am standing up this year! I am asking each of my friends hopping with us this month....To join the "CARDS 4 the CURE" Challenge! Happy Sunday Friends :o)

I hope everyone's week went well....My week went better than excepted :o) I did have some issues over the weekend...My package that I shipped out was damaged :o( and now when I go to make my shipments...I will have to file a claim for insurance.... We will see how that works out :o)

On a much better note....I finished my 2nd Haunted Hallows Eve Mini and it's pages :o)

Welcome back to DT Wednesday with SP & Company!!! I hope everyone has enjoyed most of their week....I know mine has been busy but in a good way :o) Today I have a mini featuring one of my favorite stamp collections from SP & CO.... called Sewing Chic!!!!! Which you can find right *HERE*

This set really matches my style 100% For this card I use the frame, the dress frame and the sentiment to tie it all together and I really like how it tied my project together :o)

Vireo's Cottage

Hi Everyone,

I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend :o) My family did enjoy a little down time...We really didn't do much...We did deep cleaning on Saturday, took care of all the critters around here and watch the sunset...Sunday we went to church, we devoured Sunday dinner at the Garlic Rose, and come home and laid down for the rest of the day...

Now today was busy as always LOL There is not much I haven't done today.......... However, I was lucky enough to have a couple of hours to work on another kit for class....My goal is to have at least 10 weeks of classes together before my official start date :o)

Timed flied by as I figure the math for Vireo's Cottage.... I don't know how a math geek in school....forgets so much....I guess that is what happens when you don't use it LOL It took me a good couple of hours to get the pieces to match up.I kept cutting the wrong measurements and the big goof came to my roof.I grabbed a left over piece of chipboard and the book cover wasn't matching. Thank goodness my brain started firing again :o) and it all worked out....

Then with a quickness I cut the chipboard, covered it with Graphic 45 paper, added a white picket fence and made the roof :o) AND........Tomorrow the real fun begins, the pages to the mini will be added, flowers planted in it's garden, and birds and butterflies attached......

Haunted Hallows is fall bound

taHi Everyone,

TGIF!!!!!! Things are just moving along around here....The days are getting shorter...nights are also cooler now :o) the feel of fall is all around.....I didn't get much finished around here today. I took care of all the critters. I chased the chickens out of my garden and out of my melons. I brought my family to the gym to burn the extra fat off LOL ~AND~ I manage to work on a new project inbetween all the chores......

Haunted Hallows House Mini

This is my first attempted for this project...It has taken many Opps to get to this point of the project LOL I am half way through this creation....I have doors~windows~images &embellishments to go for this mini...

This is a delightful paper pack IS by The paper Studio....It has a great selection of colors and patterns to play with.....Once the paper is cut out, glued together and sewn it looks really cute.....The house is just an empty shell and is a wonderful display for Halloween......the best part is that roof acts as the mini~album!!!

All you have to do is add your Halloween photos....Then TaDA!!! you have a great album to share with your incoming house guests :o)

My favorite part of the project is my roof!!! I just love the colors and how real it appears!!!! I hid the binding rings with my stash of knitting yarn....I knew I didn't waste my money when I bought them a few years ago LOL

I am so excited to teach this class it is soooo much fun to make :o) It has taken me 5 hours to figure this much out LOL however, I think once I get the steps down that it won't take nearly has much time to create....This class kit will be available here on my blog the 1st week of October...The kit will inclued everything you need to make this Haunted House Mini~ I just love the Halloween Papers that the paper studio came out with....In my area it is the only thing out....however, I just opened my wholesale account to offer my favorite paper lines for my kits :o)

I also wanted to let everyone know there is a utube video for this mini....because I didn't think the pictues did it any justice :o) You can find the video in my you~tube page tab :o)

Hi Everyone,

I can honestly say WHeW!!! I have been to 4 different states, Cared for my wonder family, the crazy farm full of wild critters LOL and my two Aussies....OOOHHHH and let me not forget I have given my honey bee's this month supply of honey in their houses too :o) and just now sitting down.....Now "WHAT THE HECK AM I GONNA DO " LOL

I know I am hitting the bath tub for some bubbles, curling up with a good gardening book, and hitting the pillow top :o) Then the real fun begins for me...I have to create some fun projects for my classes.....Here are some images of my first class kits...Please tell me what you think!

Vintage Sweet Mini~Journal

Which I have not completed yet :o) I still have the inside to create...There will be alot of WoWs popping out of this mini....

These pages here will have tag pop-ups and photo slips...I am also going to add a couple more rings to make this album more sturdy...

These pages here I am going to have envelope slots to hold several images....

I will be using a layout for these pages....For my layout I plan on using Gecko Galz images :o)

The last pages, I plan on using a new techique I have created...and I will share it with everyone real soon.......

This mini below I made from scatch...I made the binding, the cover, the pages, and the tag slots...It is not completely finished but you get the idea of things to come in theses images....

I am using the Melissa Frances Collection for most of this album...My wooden humming bird embellishment came from one of Bella Creations kit :o) the flowers and the jeweled flower came from my studio stash.....

When you open this mini you have tags galore to add your images too....The sweet flowers accent the soft aray of colors used for this album.....Each of the tags were distress with my favorite Tim Holtz ink....

Here is a decent image of the binding I created for holding my tags, photos, and flowers...as you can see the folders in this mini can hold thin sheets of paper....and able to hold much bulkier goodies :o)

Just looked at all that space for your pictures....Humming Bird Sweet holds over 10 tags, 10 pictures, 5 flowers and too many extras to count :o)

This is my FAVORITE tag out of this collection!!! It is just so shabby sweet....The flower makes this a great picture don't you think???

This album has taken me a couple of hours to put together so far...You know how that goes... I have made many mistakes in creating it...but that means less mistakes for you :o)

I also have something eles to share with everyone too....I have been receiving emails about offering my kits online too....So I have decided to create kits to share with all of you too. I will offer each of my weekly class kit to you as well....

I have now set class times for most of my classes...I begin on Friday September 2nd in Springfield :o) and Saturday September 3rd in Jonesboro and then in 3rd week in September, I will be spending Thursday's in Illionis, Missouri, and Kentucky. The projects below will be the first couple of classes....I will post images of new projects for up coming classes soon.....
