I am a firm believer than lingerie should not be hidden under your clothes or limited to the bedroom.I mean what's the point of splurging in gorgeous underwear if the rest of the world can't see it?

So I've been looking for different ways to show off my Kiss me Deadly Vargas suspender dress. I found some amazing pictures on the Kiss me Deadly blog - they have accessorized it with pearls, corsages, feathers.. you name it!

But this look is one that I really love..and I think I'll be replicating soon.

You can't believe my excitement when this collection finally landed to our Sydney office!

I had never worn a suspender skirt and I was quite keen to try one. The most beautiful thing about the Kiss me Deadly DeVille skirt is the material: a stretch satin in a midnight blue with a black lace overlay on the waist. It feels and looks divine on!

The skirt has scalloped edges that split and overlap in the middle, revealing (if you wish to) a glimpse of your stockings top when you walk.
In fact, attached from the inside are 6 garter straps. Metal clasps, sturdy and secure, like only Kiss me Deadly can do.
I found this is also a very versatile piece - paired with a black top and black heels, it makes a very glamorous evening outfit. But you can also wear it with lighter colors for day time. I've been experimenting with a fitted Breton top, nude seamed stockings and red heels. Very Bardot meets Lolita :)

The theme for the new Kiss me Deadly collection is women spies from WW2: this woman stole secrets from a naval office with the help of her lover (and some knock-out drops), and when caught, they took their clothes off and pretended to be in flagrante in order to explain why they were sneaking around the building!

Christmas is just a few weeks away and it's time for you gentlemen to carry out some lingerie detective work! Simply abandon any visions of a pre-canned gift idea that you might be clinging to. Instead buy her a sumptuous, glamorous and unique gift from the heart - an object of desire which could be transformed in something fun for you both in the boudoir!

Here are some golden rules to help you find the perfect gift for your fabulous significant other (ladies, feel free to forward this email as many times as you like. Or print it and hide it in his pocket - wink!)

Tip1 : Women generally do like red. Men THINK women love red. To choose a colour that she will love and feel comfortable wearing, have a sneaky look at her lingerie drawer. What do you see?
Lots of black and neutral tones: Stick to the same colour for stockings and suspender belts. Black is sexy and easy to wear. Black suspenders and black stockings is a winning combination. White garter belts look beautiful with nude sheer hosiery.
Leopard prints: Yay! Your girl probably prefers the glamour of vintage or vintage inspired. Experiment with eye catching prints and bold colours. Yes, you are allowed to buy red stockings, if you really want to.

Tip2 : Buy suspender belts with metal clasps, not plastic. Cheap plastic straps will allow stockings to come loose and fall down the leg. All our suspender belt have metal clasps and are fully adjustable for a perfect fit. To find the right size check her undies - it is very likely to be the same size as her knickers.

Tip3 : Seamed stockings are sexy. And slimming. Chances are your lady will love them! Fully fashioned stockings have a seam sewn in (rather than printed), are ultra sheer and more expensive, but also more durable and a special treat.

Tip4 : Practical lingerie is generally not sexy lingerie. Ditto for stockings. Get her something that will make her feel fabulous!

Finally, don't be scared to ask the experts if you are still not sure. We are always happy to offer ideas and advice!

A British man is attempting to cheer up the nation’s women – and set a new record in the process – by giving out 100,000 free compliments over a two-week period. At the half-way point, he has managed to make thousands of women feel good already, taking to the streets and answering every email request sent in.

The great big compliment giveaway came in response to research commissioned by QVC Beauty that reveals 41 per cent of women have not received a single compliment in the past 12 months, with one in four men (25 per cent) admitting they rarely think of dishing them out.

QVC Beauty, the new TV channel entirely dedicated to beauty from retail giant QVC, has appointed Yorkshire comedian and international charmer Bryan Lacey, 31, to the post of The Complimentor to issue random messages of kindness and encourage women to feel good about themselves.

Bryan Lacey, now known as The Complimentor, comments:

“The world is a very serious place at the moment, but there is always room for a compliment. They are simple to give and great to receive so I’m hoping that I can spread 100,000 little moments of happiness, which will brighten up the receiver’s day. To hit the target I have to give away roughly two compliments a minute, but I’m confident I can be chivalrous until the end.”

We can't wait for get our hands on the fabulous collection created by Alber Elbaz, fashion designer for Lanvin for H&M. It will be available in H&M stores in the UK and online from 02 November.

This is one of the first images released from the campaign shot in Paris by photographer David Sims, modeled by Natatsha Poly, Hannelore Knuts e Simon Nessman. The mood is very sophisticated, as you would expect from the French maison, with splashes of colorful cocktail dresses and stylish accessories.

Just returned from Europe where the combo knee-high socks and chunky shoes seems to be a major trend this year! Knee-highs are a very stylish alternative to tights and stockings, particularly in warmer weather. Worn with floaty chiffon dresses they give you a carefree, bohemian look but if you prefer smart & sleek then an 'all black' look is the way to go..
