Sweet Plumeria

Hand Painted Name Canvas

2012-11-19T11:03:00.000-08:00

I painted my son's name for his room 2 years ago. Then I started making more as baby shower gifts for friends. I've decided to open up a shop on Etsy as yours truly "Sweet Plumeria" to explore this hobby and to make more creative things. Please check back often for more listings as I continue to make them. They are also great Holiday gifts. Happy Thanksgiving!

As autumn is approaching, the feeling of warmth and coziness comes to mind. Sometimes, it's nice to just go back to the basics. {heart wood board, tea canister, wood mug}

Tea benefit

2012-07-16T04:00:00.000-07:00

I finally had a chance to visit Matcha Source on 3rd street & Crescent Height in Los Angeles after admiring their online presence. I had a great conversation with founder, Alissa White, while sipping on excellent-grade matcha tea.

Sweet Plumeria: What inspired you to start Matcha Source?
Alissa: I wanted to bring the benefit of matcha from the mountain top to the table top.

Thailand

Sharing some photos I took from my recent travel to Thailand. 1) Rambutan: don't let the hairy outer appearance scare you, the fruit is mildly sweet and delicious when chilled. 2) Rain storm up ahead. 3) Oh, how I miss Thai fruits. 4) Peaceful chime. {photos by Sweet Plumeria}

Sweet Rose Creamery

2012-02-14T08:00:00.000-08:00

I think I just had an ice cream orgasm or some sort of out of body experience! The "Orange coriander zest with almonds" was the best ice cream flavor I've had in a long time. That was the first scoop. The second scoop was a more mild and delicate "Earl Grey". Wow! What's more? Sweet Rose Creamery at the Brentwood Country Mart closes at 11 pm! Hello...late night snack!!
