The party was hosted by Class 95’s Jasmine in a seductive principal outfit which is totally in sync with the classroom theme for the party.

Understanding that the women of today are always on the go and constantly tied for time, the demonstration focused on easy yet quick makeup tips and techniques to make one look fabulous without the need to sacrifice one’s sleep time.

Without further ado, let’s follow my enactment of the step by step makeup demonstration; do pardon me if I missed out some steps:

Always remember to prep your face with skincare products before the application of your makeup as firstly, it creates a smooth base to work your makeup on and secondly, it requires less re-touches on your makeup to achieve a flawless look for the entire day.

Remove excess oil and dirt from your skin using Benefit’s Moisture Prepping Toning Lotion.

Hydrate your skin with Benefit’s Ultra Radiance Facial Re-hydrating Mist. Thereafter follow shortly with the application of the Triple Performing Facial Emulsion SPF 15 PA++ to prevent moisture loss and for its SPF properties.

Gently massage Benefit’s It’s Potent Eye Cream to your delicate eye area to reduce puffiness and to rid dryness.

Now with the basics conquered, you can proceed to apply your makeup:

Spread evenly Benefit’s Porefessional, a pore reducing makeup base for a smooth palette to work with.

Using a foundation brush or fingers, apply on Benefit’s Hello Flawless Oxygen WOW! at both the T-zone and jaw area. The product is a light-weight liquid foundation that provides medium coverage.

Using a blending brush, apply Benefit’s Erase Paste to neutralize the grayness of the under eye area and Boi-ing to reduce the redness on the problematic areas.

Brush on Benefit’s Hervana Box O’ Powder on top of the blush left from the usage of the Benetint for a more three-dimensional look.

Trim and define the eye brows using Benefit’s Browzing for neatly shaped brows (The brows have been previously done prior to the demostration).

Apply Benefit’s Ceaseless Cream Eye Shadow for a touch of colour.

Curl your lashes and then volumise them with the help of Benefit’s They’re Real Mascara.

Lastly complete the look and achieve a highly kissable pout with a coating of Benefit’s Coralista Ultra Plush Lip Gloss.

It really does work. Through I would like to recommend that it is best start to your 6 day detox program on a weekend that you intend to stay at home.

This acts as a safety precaution as it would be great to have unlimited access to the toilet without having to wait. I personally experienced frequent pangs to go the toilet or the passing out of gas during the first few days of the program.

As the program continues, I gradually feel less bloated and my constipation problem is greatly improved as well. I now feel extremely gratified to be able to defecate on a daily basis.

Things to take note would be that: alike me, you might suffer from an acne outbreak throughout the usage of the Kinohimitsu J’pan D’Tox Juice but try not panic. As per my experience, my skin managed to heal and repair itself within a week or two and eventually I emerged with healthier looking complexion.

Through the downside to the Kinohimitsu J’pan D’Tox Juice would be that, despite it have a pleasant plum scent, I personally find that the plum taste is a little too overwhelming for my preference. Do note that prepping your lips before the application of your lip stick, will significantly help to downplay the fine lines of your lip and thus providing you with a smooth canvas to work on.

I love how it minimizes the appearance of the fine lines on my lips as well.

On the whole, my favourite out of the 3 would be a tough match between the Mentholatum Hyaluronic Acid Lip Gel for its easily absorbed texture, refreshing scent, watery yet glossy look and the Mentholatum Vitamin Lip Gel for its cooling, out of this world tingling sensation on my lips.

With constant usage, the micro gentle double beads did a fantastic job in the unclogging of my nose’s existing white and blackheads. The reoccurrence seems to reduce significantly as well.

My complexion feels suppler and smoother and what I love best is that my t-zone stays matte for a longer period of time.

Though the downside would include, that it actually did sting and I can hardly open my eyes to look for the tap when I accidently lather the foamy scrub over my eye lids.

Another would be that not everyone would like the scent. My brother did feedback to me that he does not fancy the scent refreshing lime- lemony scent even though, I find that it blends well with the menthol cooling effects on the skin.

Oh the whole, the Mentholatum Acnes Daily Facial Scrub is definitely worth getting with the price tag of just S$7.50.

After constant usage, my neck area do seemed more supple and firm. It also feels really soft and smooth when touched.

I love the fast absorption of the Skin Food’s Grape Seed Oil Wrinkle Neck Cream into my skin, with this there is lesser waiting time and it is easier for it to be incorporate into my skincare regime.

I would have preferred if it is packaged in a squeeze tube container as it would be easier to bring around and as I am able to control the amount that I dispense out each time. In this way it will be more hygienic and there will be lesser wastage as well.

Depends, as I am very particular about the smell of the product I use as I believe that aromatherapy does help to relax one’s senses after a tiring day.

Without further ado, I will be sharing with you girls more on the Sun Silk Weather Defense range, my personal feedback and the lovely event that I was kindly invited to.

I must add that it’s really a sinful indulgence but it is absolutely a blast to experience a nice cold sugar rush on a typical sunny afternoon.

Not to mentioned that the staffs at Ben and Jerry’s was really friendly as well, the guy serving us was super attentive and patient as I took a super long time before deciding as I was like totally spoiled for choice with all the temping flavors.

Once I have reach Jurong Point, I patiently waited for the preparation of the stage to be done and the show to get officially started.

It wasn’t long before the cheerful emcee started his routine to get the audience gathered and all hyped up before the arrival of Ms Judy Lin.

On the whole, there were a total of 3 different segments for the workshop,

I am super excited and honored to be chosen as 1 of the bloggers to conduct a short interview with the skillful stylist, Ms Judy Lin.

Heartfelt thanks to Louisa, Beauty Bistro and SASA for giving me this once in a lifetime opportunity.

The interview was hosted in a corner of in SASA Tampiness 1 after the end of the beneficial workshop.

This is probably why I was so overwhelmed and honored when I was extended the kind invitation to attend Shills Beauty D.I.Y workshop with Beauty expert, Ms Judy Lin.

Hug and kisses to the lovelies at Beauty Bistro and SASA for the kind invitation and for making this event a blast. Super love it that you managed to fly Ms Judy Lin all the way from Taiwan to grace this workshop personally.

Does the name Judy Lin ring a bell in your head?

It is probably because Ms Judy Lin is one of the beauty experts that often make her appearance in the famous Taiwan beauty talk show 女人我最大 (Known as Lady First & Wqueen).

She was even given the title of the ageless beauty by the Taiwanese media.

In the session that I was attending, Ms Judy Lin have shared with us her secrets and D.I.Y tips on how to achieve a more slender body, fantastic looking hair in just minutes and brighter looking skin for a more confident self.

Being selected as one of the volunteers to be demonstrated on, I was totally nervous that I arrived an hour earlier even though I have to travel all the way from the west to the Tampiness 1 where the workshop is situated.

Once I reach, I have totally no problem locating the venue as it is strategically smack right in the middle of the atrium.

Some behind the scenes pictures of the preparations and restocking of goods before the official start of the workshop.

Here’s a picture of the tempting Shills products that will be later used in the demonstrations.

I just love the combination of pink and hot pink on the specially prepared mouth watering goodie bags to be given out to the audiences.

The jovial emcee for the day caught on camera while preparing and double checking his materials.

I was totally shunned at how beautiful and young Ms Judy Lin looked when she stepped on stage, her pleasant mannerism and elegant character really suits her image.

After a brief introduction of the delicious food in Singapore and all, she further emphasis that in order to maintain a slender figure like hers even after she had 2 kids.

And the secret is the continuous and religious use of professional slimming products combined with a simple massage that we can even leisurely do while watching TV.

Come to think of it, it has been years since I last stepped into the National Museum of Singapore, I’m more into arts so…

*runs away and hide in a corner before someone decides to condemns her*

Though I have to admit at the many changes it have undergoes since I last visited, there is still the serene and slow paced atmosphere that I simply adore.

It feels as though I have been pluck right from my busy and stressful life and throw off some oasis.

How I wished that every day can be just as relaxing and laid back.

Not to mention that there were interesting exhibits up and activities to keep curious little me occupied.

Being the usual playful me, I even joined in a cube creating activity, that I think is aimed for children participation.

Well age is not a factor when it comes to the churning of one’s creative juices and I guess that everyone is still a kid on the inside right?

And... After completion, it's going to be combined together with all the rest of the cubes to form an interactive masterpiece.

Well time sure flies. Before I realized, it was time to head back to Novus Restaurant & Bar for the party to get started.

They are a fabulous combination and I would recommend you girls to use both of them together to achieve a radiant and lovely matte finish.

With its oil controlling properties, oil secretion seemed to be lesser by the delaying of shine surfacing from my t-zone areas for a good 2 to 3 hours more than usual.

My face do feel more hydrated as it does not cake up as much when I did my usual touching up in the afternoons.

The light-weight and matte finish which I absolutely love after using the Ginvera’s Green Tea Nude Cover BB Cream, helps give the illusion of a natural makeup-less look.

I would prefer that it was of heavier coverage though as I still need to apply addition concealer to hide the flaws on my face.

The green tea extract found in both the Ginvera’s Green Tea Aqua Whitening Cream and the Ginvera’s Green Tea Nude Cover BB Cream do help to soothe the redness on my face while contributing to the heavenly green tea scent which I am madly in love with.

I was really excited to receive the kind invitation from the lovelies at Lumiere to join them and their lovely ambassadors and staff for a cozy gathering at Hayden Boutique.

Once I stepped into Hayden Boutique, I was greeted with,

I really love the combination as the contemporary neutral coloured interior helps to compliment the rich and vibrant racks of clothing within the boutique.

A touch of greenery instantly brightens the entire setting.

I am madly in love with this featured wall mural that gives the entire boutique an artistic flair.

With such a pleasant atmosphere and the presence of the gorgeous Miss Singapore 2011 finalists, I totally enjoyed my time spent with the information tips and fashion showcase by Hayden and the savory snacks that was kindly prepared by the meticulous staff from Lumiere.

In that short yet benefiting session, we were taught on fashion in a nut shell, given tips on the proper way to pose, sit and the appropriate makeup and clothes for certain functions or occasions.

Here's Hayden explaining about how fashion can compliment one's body depending on the cutting of an particular piece of clothing.

Here are some useful tips to share with you girls,

The choice of the colours and the intensity of one’s makeup depend on the time, place and the type of function that you are attending. Night makeup for a function tends to be more dramatic than one for a luncheon.
Different cutting and designs are meant to suit different individuals. Fashion is not a one style suit all shapes and sizes. It can be used both to enhance lovely features and to hide unsightly flaws.
High heels are a must as it not only add height which gives the illusion of longer legs but it too help to correct one’s posture as well.
Floral, leopard prints and polka dots are the hottest trend this season.
Always remember to accessorize as it can instantly jazz up or add an element of fun in to a boring outfit.
One of the pre-requite criteria of being a beauty queen is healthy looking long luxurious hair.
Proper care of one’s nails is important as well. Remember to always keep it healthy, trimmed and polished. For those who do not like it coated with nail polish, you can always choose an alternative by buffing it for a healthy looking shine.

After the mini fashion runway show and the informative presentation, we were free to mingle around, take pictures or give the luxurious dresses a try.

And… Being the usual talkative and chatty me, I went around making acquaintances with the attendees.

Meet the attentive Melody, she's one of my favourite consultant in Lumiere.

Oh and here’s a picture of me and 5 of the finalist of Miss Singapore 2011. I really envy their perfect hour glass figure and their photogenic smile.

I absolutely adore them as they were really warm and approachable. It was definitely great getting to meet them up close and personal.

And… my most favorite finalist has to be, Nicole De Souza. I love her cheerful and energetic character. I had lots of fun talking to her as her replies throughout the conversation were genuine and there isn’t any bit of snobbishness in her.

She’s really thoughtful as she always tries to strike a conversation with me whenever I was kind of left out in the group. Nicole, wish you all the best in the competition ~

Another 2 finalists that I too adore is Shahnaz and Amanda. Their cheerful and spontaneous character makes them easy to get along with.

Ultimately, I had a blast mingling around while learning more about fashion and feasting my eyes on the lovely outfits.

It was a pleasant surprise that Lumiere had generously prepared goodie bags for us attendees.
