Oh I just love this couple. I’ve worked with Kaitlyn on several occasions, but this was by far the most fun. Tooling around downtown, ignoring the heat, laughing till it hurt. It just doesn’t get much better than that. If these photos don’t make you happy, I don’t know what will. ~Mary Helen We couldn’t miss out on the Sunflowers either. With just enough light left in the day, we hurried on over to the Wolf River to capture these fun shots.

We had such a fun time photographing these two. And how couldn’t you with such a good lookin’ couple. There were so many great moments through out the day. From the two seeing each other before the ceremony to the Parker’s Snow Cone truck. You could not have asked for a better day. We were blessed to be there with you, Deborah and Jeff! Trash the Dress {Mississippi Style}

An incredible day with an incredible family. Trashing wedding dresses and enjoying life. Sweet Water Images would like to thank Gail, Mandy, Stephanie, Jenn, Chris, Frank, Jacob and Big Daddy for allowing us to capture this fun occasion. From John Deer Tractors to a 1950 Chevy, we covered almost every inch of their Hernando home….and then some. These ladies had brilliant ideas that were brought to life. Paint, Parasols and Pools made for exciting photographs and big smiles.

We couldn’t have asked for a better Trash The Dress session. We just wish we could do it again.

Also, a big thanks to Karin Woodward of Haute Horticulture for supplying us with her beautiful bouquets. Who needs a paint brush when you’ve got a bouquet?? ~Mary Helen

06 Fill Your EyesOh to be a Senior again. Those carefree days of chillin with friends, enjoying life and being excited about what the future holds. These 3 beautiful ladies have such style, class, and energy. Each with strong and very different personalities. We were so lucky to photograph this period in their lives. Ladies, enjoy it while it lasts.
Ms. Dallas Nutt, well, she is a nut. Happy and giggly with that effervescent smile.

And Ms. Merissa Pittman is such a strong woman. You can see the determination in her eyes.

Finally, Ms. Laura Beth Cox is a laid back soul with a quiet beauty and a laugh that hits you when you least expect it.

Thank you girls for being our “Charlies Angels”. And a big thanks to Waltz in Oxford for allowing us to dismantle your restaurant.

And the cutest baby belly award goes to…Ms. Abby! She has the chunkiest little belly ever. And not to mention she is another one of our blue eyed boogers! Abby is an outdoorsy chick who doesn’t mind getting a little dirt under her nails or in her mouth for that matter. She’s gonna have all the boys under her thumb one day. Max {Portraits}

This is my newest buddy, Max. He is the cutest most lovable boy to date. With a smile that will melt hearts all over the world. Max likes to sing, make animal noises, have his dad flip him in the air and most of all he loves the Memphis Tigers. So (only for him) Go Tigers!
A couple of things about Max:

#1 Don’t call him Maxy….he hates that.

#2 He has the best family around. His mom, Allison and his dad, DJ are the coolest parents. He has a huge support system behind him which makes him one of the luckiest boys in the world!

#3 Max was born without vision.

When I initially talked talked to Allison about Max, my first reaction was to be very sad for him and a little angry that this was the path given to such a sweet boy. Then I met Max. I saw his spirit, his sweet soul, and that amazing smile. It was then that I realized that Max has a gift. He will never take one thing in this life for granted. He will never judge a book by it’s cover. And he will learn to dance by actually listening to the music. It makes my heart so happy to know that he is going to have one of the most interesting lives. And even though he will have some hard days, he as the greatest support system in the world to pick him up and dust him off.
I am so happy that I was able to meet Max. We are going to be buddies for a long time now.
Allison and DJ, thank you so much for allowing me photograph your guy! I look forward to getting together with you all the next time you are in Memphis.
