Metal Slug is a series of run and gun video games first released on Neo-Geo arcade machines and game consoles created by SNK. It was also ported to other consoles, such as the Sega Saturn, the PlayStation, the Neo-Geo Pocket Color and more recently, the Game Boy Advance, PlayStation 2, Xbox, Xbox 360 and Nintendo DS.
There is also an anthology of the first 7 games in the main series (including Metal Slug X) available for the Wii, PlayStation Portable, and PlayStation 2. The gameplay of the series is characteristic of run and guns:
The enemies come in hordes, the weapons have high fire rates. All of these characteristics come from the Contra series, which the gameplay is based on. Metal Slug however takes the concepts introduced in Contra and expands upon them. First and foremost is the ability to perform melee attacks. In most run and guns, contact with an enemy leads to immediate death. In this series, however, contact only results in either party’s death if an attack is performed. This leads to the ability for the player to run in and use melee attacks to take down a number of troops.
Characters Marco Rossi and Tarma Roving were the first playable characters, but each was reserved solely to the first and second player, respectively. In the second installment, Eri Kasamoto and Fiolina “Fio” Germi were added to the cast.
These four are considered by fans to be the quintessential Metal Slug team. In the fourth game, Nadia Cassel and Trevor Spacey made their debut, replacing Eri and Tarma, respectively, but have not returned for later games. Eri and Tarma returned in the fifth game. The Game Boy Advance edition of the game features two new characters specific to that title: PF squad trainees Walter Ryan and Tyra Elson. King of Fighters/Ikari Warriors characters Ralf Jones and Clark Still appear in Metal Slug 6, released for the Atomiswave hardware in February 2006. They are also playable characters in the latest installment, Metal Slug 7.

How to play Run WinKawaks.exe File -> Load game Select required Metal Slug Version Hit ok Keys: Now this is weird thing in this game. I had a very hard time to configure the right keys for this one. This was all messed up in keys configuration settings. You can try it by yourself. Here for your help let me try to explain.
Go to game -> Redefine keys and configure keys by yourself. Default key for coin is / (at numpad) and for starting one player is * (at numpad). You can change these to F3 and F1. For left, right, up, down moves there are a, d, w keys. You can select those and enter arrow keys on keyboard to set these as arrow keys.
Don’t know if I am confusing you. Let me break it down. Set F3 and F1 for coin and start and arrow keys for moves. Then just keep hitting the a, s, d, f, z, x, c, v as the control moves in the ‘keys configuration panel’, till all keys be set. I am showing you here my screenshot for keys.

Need For Speed II, Released in Japan as Over Drivin`II, is a 1997 racing Video game, Developed by Electronic Arts Canada and published by Electronic Arts, It is a part of the Need for Speed series and follows Road & Track Presents: The Need for Speed, Significantly deviating from the emphasis of realism in The Need for Speed to arcade-like gameplay, though it introduces car tuning. As does its predecessor, Need for Speed II features several exotic cars, and includes tracks set in various parts of the world. The game also opted to remove police pursuits introduced in The Need for Speed.

There are three main game types. The first two are single race and tournament and the last is a knockout race. Single races allow players to become familiar with the circuits and increase their skill of any one of the six tracks. The six tracks are called Mediterranean, Mystic Oeaks.Proving Grounds, Outback, North Country, and Pacific Spirit. Cars that are playable from the start include the McLaren F1, Ferrari F50, Ford GT90, Jaguar XJ220, Lotus GT1 and Lotus Espirit V8, Italdesign Cala, and the Isdera Commendatore 112i. A bonus car, the Ford Indigo concept, can be unlocked as well. The game features extensive multi-player options including two to eight players over a LAN, by modem or serial connection and with split-screen racing.

In a single race the player selects the opposing car, while all cars compete in a tournament and at the start of a knockout race. There is also two playing styles—arcade or simulation. Arcade mode improves handling while simulation mode is intended to provide more realism. The number of laps can be chosen from two, four or six. Automatic or manual transmission as well car paint color are selectable in all game types.
A tournament race involves playing all tracks in order with the starting track able to be selected. Only after successfully completing a tournament in first place can knockout races can be played. Knockout races involve racing two laps over each of the six tracks with a number of opponents. These disqualification races always start on the easiest circuit and continue through each map, with the player who finishes last being eliminated after each race. After advancing through all the tracks another circuit is revealed. Monolithic Studios can then only be played by completing all knockout races first.
