Funnily enough i was watching this video by microsoft today and lolling about how much trust and reliance people have on Google which is then rewarded by Google just closing down their services at random.

Later on in the day i get an email from Google about about Adsense for Domains being retired so you need to find another service.
They do provide a guide to help you park your domains called `Park My Domains` but they link to Google with the search string Park My Domains which is not good because the results for `Park My Domains` arent very good. Shouldve linked to Bing.

I do know lots of people that were sending crappy traffic to their parked domains and they have sort of undermined the service but not enough to make Google close the entire program.

So you are asking the question `How To Park My Domains` now that Google has retired Adsense for Domains and forcing you to ask how to Park My Domains which you hoped they wouldnt.

I would suggest using the free OpenBH Automated website builder and domain parking system to recover from this devastating blow by the google closure.

How to park my domains with OpenBH is a question we get asked a lot and we are actually working on a mass installer with everything you need to get loads of domains up fast with half decent parking style sites.

Read more about OpenBH here an learn how to park my domains, but keeping more control this time and if you see anyone asking `how to park my domains`? on a social network or forum please send them the link to this site to learn more about parking domains with OpenBH.

This is what google say in their email to us.
Their guide to help you when you are asking, How to Park My Domains? is below the email.

Hi,
We’re contacting you because you’re using AdSense for Domains to monetize your undeveloped domains. After evaluating the benefits of our partner network, we’ve decided to retire the Hosted domains product within AdSense. Going forward, undeveloped domains will only be served through our existing AdSense for Domains distribution network.
Our records show that 1 of your Hosted domains will be affected by this upcoming change, which will follow the schedule below:
• March 21: You’ll no longer be able to create new Hosted domains
• April 18: Hosted domains will become inactive and it’ll no longer be possible to earn from them
• June 27: Hosted domains will no longer be available in AdSense accounts
To continue monetizing your undeveloped domains, you can migrate your domain portfolio to any domain parking provider. Find out how in our Migration Guide:
    Migration Guide

Please note that this upcoming change won’t affect any other AdSense products you’re currently using or the availability of other products to you. In addition, reporting on your Hosted domains will remain available throughout the schedule above and for a period following the retirement.
For more information see the Help Center. We appreciate your understanding and thank you for your patience as we continue to develop new features and offerings within AdSense.
Sincerely,
The Google AdSense Team

Migrating your domains to a new domain parking provider

If you’re an AdSense publisher with Hosted domains, you’ll need to migrate your domains before April 18, 2012, to continue monetizing them. Before proceeding, you should read about this change and how it will affect your Hosted domains.

Between now and April 18, you’ll be able to migrate your undeveloped domain portfolio to a new domain parking provider of your choice. To migrate your hosted domains and continue monetizing them:

Download your Hosted domains settings from AdSense.

Select a new domain parking provider.

Open a domain parking account.

Register your domains.

Change your DNS settings.

1: Download your Hosted domains settings from AdSense.

Vist the My ads tab of your AdSense account, choose “Domains” from the sidebar and click Hosted domains. Select all of your domains and click Download domain settings. You’ll receive a “settings.csv” file with the settings that apply to each of your domains. You’ll need these settings when you register your domains in step 4.

2: Select a new domain parking provider.

There are many domain parking providers who can help you monetize your undeveloped domains with pay-per-click (PPC) ads similar to the Google ads that are used for Hosted domains in AdSense, with some added benefits. Domain parking providers specialize in serving owners of undeveloped domains and typically offer a wide variety of site templates, competitive rates, convenient payment options and account support, as well as related services for domain investors such as registrar services, domain marketing services and marketplaces to buy and sell domains. To find a new domain parking provider we recommend two approaches:

Contact your registrar for domain parking options.

Search Google for “park my domains” to see a list of popular domain parking options.

3: Open a domain parking account.

Once you’ve selected a new domain parking provider for your domains, follow the sign-up instructions to open a new account. While sign-up processes vary by provider, generally you’ll create a username and password, enter payment information and list your domains (see step 4 below for more details), as well as specify various account options.

4: Register your domains.

Just like you did initially with your AdSense account, you’ll need to register your domains in your new account. Follow the instructions in your new account to register your domains. Use the domain settings you downloaded in step 1 to ensure that the information you enter for each domain is correct. If you have a large domain portfolio, some providers offer bulk upload tools to help facilitate this step. Once you’ve registered your domains with your the new account, delete their corresponding entries from your AdSense account.

5: Change your DNS settings.

Once your domains are registered and approved in your new account, you must update the DNS from ns1.googleghs.com (or ns2, ns3, ns4, depending on how you configured Hosted domains in AdSense) to the nameserver specified in your new account. DNS settings typically take up to 24 hours to update across the Internet. If your Hosted domains used the CNAME approach, be sure to also update your CNAME and A records using the instructions provided by your registrar.

After you migrate

After you migrate your hosted domains, your AdSense account will remain open and any other AdSense products you use will continue to operate as normal. We encourage you to continue using your AdSense account, sign up for new AdSense products and create new ad units. You’ll also be able to see historical performance for your hosted domains in AdSense reports until April 18, 2013.

Frequently asked questions

What if I already have an account with a domain parking provider?

If you already have an account with a domain parking provider, then you don’t need to open a new account – skip to step 4 to register your AdSense hosted domains with your provider.

What if I don’t want to continue monetizing my domains?

If you hold undeveloped domains that you don’t plan to monetize or build out into websites, your best option is to sell them. Many domain parking providers offer marketplaces where you can sell your domains.

Exactly 30 years ago the UK was in a very big depression with rioting and high unemployment which is pretty much the same now 30 years later.I actually remember the Falklands war which does somewhat make me feel a cross between old and wise.

Falkands War 1982

Anyway i was thinking back to the war and how history always repeats its-self in pretty much every way possible.

At school i completely ignored history because i didn’t think what mattered in the past was important but this was one of my biggest mistakes ever for just general life.

I just saw one of the smartest searches ever in my logs for `Make Money Online 2005` and because of the site title plus the date of conception of this site i got the hit.
Everyone wants to know the newest and hottest ways to make money online so they can chase it like every other mindless clone out there but they are missing out on some amazing stuff that happened in the past and still works.

Someone asked me:
why i dont post so much really hot or splendidly great info on this site?
I had to admit that i hold a lot back because i can be my own worst enemy sometimes and give away stuff that works really well.
His answer to that was `why the hell would you give away something that works?`
All i could say was that everything works to some degree even if its many years old.

Remember in 2005-2006 when autoblogging was hot and then it died out almost completely?
Then in 2008 it came back big time and everyone was going on about this new thing?

Xrumer and forum spamming in 2004-2006 and then it died out completely because everyone said it was `saturated`
Came back in late 2008-early 2009 and people went crazy over this hot new method.

Coupons and Deals that were hot in about 2001 but pretty much just say there and died out.
Came back hot when Groupon reworked the format a little in late 2008-early 2009.

Local marketing which was crazy hot in 2005-2006 and then it pretty much went quiet.
Come 2011 say the launch of the awesome MapsMagic Local Marketing Course i sent everyone an email about and apparently more people are rolling out clone courses, but of course it will still be the best.

I could go on all day talking about things that were hot, dead, hot , dead, lukewarm, saturated, hot and just keep coming back and re-appearing every few years.

Same in life that things that were once hot become dead and then a few years later they are back again.
Fashion and music for example, where every generation that doesn’t know the past will invent their own culture or music but very often its based on or pretty much identical to what we have seen before.

You need to look at the whole history and timeline of an industry to be able to understand something and see the real depth of it so you can fully understand it.

Actually i may speak to some of the old school guys to find out more about the past.

Like did you know? The guy spammed google so hard in the olden days that in just a few months he retired and bought a castle in Scotland?
Do you know about the guy that got 6billion sub-domains in google?
Do you know about how when the sandbox came about there were companies that built multi million dollar businesses just on a few google positioning and they were literally devastated overnight by an algorithm change?

History is everything so take some time to speak to some of the older people that have been doing this stuff a while.

In that vast bank of historical knowledge they have you may find a gem that makes you a million because history always repeats its self.

People talk about building relationships all the time and you could be under the illusion that those with the most Facebook friends, subscribers or Google Plus followers have a lot of relationships.
The truth is they just have friends, subscribers and followers rather than what you really need.

Yall need to get yourself a really good Posse.
Urban Dictionary describes a Posse as;

your crew, your hommies, a group of friends, people who may or may not have your back
me an’ my posse gonna hang tonite

Your crew, gang, set, team or group of friends.
“Hey fool, you ain’t nothing without your posse.”

Originally, a group of people (especially in the Old West) banded together for purposes of law enforement (and harassing Indians). From posse comitatus, Latin for “power of the county”. Posse Comitatus is also the name of various white supremacist organizations that have appeared in the US over the years.

Google Define describes a posse as;

A body of men, typically armed, summoned by a sheriff to enforce the law.

The body of men in a county whom the sheriff could summon to enforce the law.

I describe a posse as;

The group of people in your trusted circle that you can throw ideas at for discussion in the safe knowledge they wont try and screw you over.
Your posse will have your back when you are in trouble and will help to defend you.
A good posse will always have you in mind if there is an opportunity that suits you and will let you know about it.
Posse members in your trusted circle will take ideas from people outside of the posse and bring them into the trusted circle for discussion to maybe help you all make money. They will hope you succeed and help you as opposed to many that will be a hater and stand in your way.

Your posse will change over time as people come and go but the chances are the core of the posse will be people you meet and build a close relationship with when you are first online.

My posse has changed and evolved over the many years i have been online but i like to still think the early core members have my back in the same way i have theirs.

There are so many assholes and self serving people online so you may need to filter through a lot to get a good posse which is pretty much an education in just the process of the filtering.
If you get some good online success and you find people suddenly appearing, i believe these are not good candidates for your posse.

A true potential posse member for your inner circle will help you out with a problem whether it be a logo for your site or a bit of coding help but will want nothing or expect nothing in return because they just know you will also volunteer or offer to help them with something when they are stuck.
A true potential posse member will not care what you are earning now but will see potential in you and what mutual benefit a close relationship can bring.

Identifying or finding the people for your posse;

You have to find people of a certain level as you with a different skills set or something to complement what you have.
Trying to get bigger established or earning internet celebrity’s to be part of your posse is a fruitless exercise.
Think of how a real offline celebrity would react to a trainee or jobbing actor if they tried to befriend them and be part of their circle.
It wont happen immediately and you have to remember what level you are at which if we stick along with the offline celebrity we can sort of say you would find your posse at acting classes or auditions due to them being a similar level to you.

I speak on this with experience of seeing different groups and watching people in different posse`s across the internet over the years.
Also i speak because I have been blessed with having a superb posse from the very beginning which i make contact with regularly even though we have all gone on to different success levels in different markets and online industry’s.

With so many non computer literate and also dumb people out there on the interwebs it creates a very big opportunity for online criminals.

Recently with having so many offline SEO customers the reality has shocked me and they fill in or download pretty much everything they get sent to them from any source which often means me doing a big clean up because i seem to be the only tech guy around.

One of them sent me a Paypal update email asking me to help them sort their Paypal account out because they cant even remember setting it up.
Guess what?
They never did and they had fallen foul to a paypal phishing email.

Santander phishing email

While i was digging round in their computer this afternoon and cursing and scowling at them i found this email.

Secure message details
Date received: 22-01-2012
Dear Santander online customer,
We detected irregular activity on your Santander Check Card on 05 February, 2012.
As the Primary Contact, you must verify your account activity before you can continue using your card, and upon verification, we will remove any restrictions placed on your account.
To review your account as soon as possible please download the attached form and follow the instructions on your screen.
Yours sincerely,
Santander UK plc
SANTANDER, one of the world’s largest banks

So I opened the email on a vm sandbox and downloaded the attachment.
Seems this customer of mine had been trying to fill the form in with one of his staff but they just couldnt get it to work.
They could login to their santander accounts fine though.

Santander Fake Form

Facepalming and cursing i checked out the form.

Pretty good web page which they added as an attachment.

Looks real and all the links are real.

Lets have a dig into the code and view the source.

Cntrl U in firefox.
Dunno about any other browser.

If you scan through the source code you can see a suspicious ip.

Dodgy looking ip

See this ip here action=”http://196.213.168.60/retailupgrade.php” method=”post”

Sometimes a company will use just an ip in their web page but its not good practise.

And then when we go to the page its actually on a home ip in South Africa

http://toolbar.netcraft.com/site_report?url=http://196.213.168.60

Looks like its someones house internet connection but that can be somewhat a false positive.

What gets me is that people actually fall for these and fill them out and i really think we only hear maybe 1% of the actual problems people have.

There has to be a business and money to be made from the legitimate side of the phishing stuff where you can charge business owners money to educate their staff on how to avoid this.
Maybe a cheap ebook to sell to the public about how to spot a scam. I assume you will have no problem getting their credit card details from the buyers.

Would you like to leverage the small but loyal audience by sharing some tips, ideas or articles and engaging with them?

My attention has been very much drawn away to two different start-up businesses which both need a lot of time and attention so i find i just don’t have time to post on here at the moment.

Maybe you have a blog that dosent get much attention even though you think your content is good.
Or you dont want to run a blog and would instead like to leverage a 7 year old site like this with a ready made audience?

I am offline with one of the businesses for 50% of the time but online with the other for the rest so i can be here to guide you and assist you in the early days.

Think about it. Maybe it could work for you.

All these blackouts and all the protesting against pipa, sopa and the other stuff is just delaying the fact that the internet is going to be regulated.

Megaupload has been nuked and other sites will go the same way because we have seen it already in the online gambling industry so know how they just bundle different and crippling legislation in with other bills.
When they banned online gambling in the US they did it by putting a bill to parliament called the Ports and Security’s act which was about stopping terrorism.

Who could have objected to a bill to stop terrorism? and they just said `oh by the way there is some stuff about gambling in the bill` so everyone just said yes to stopping terrorism and by association pretty much almost all of the usa online gambling market was wiped out overnight.

May i just add at this point?
Where was the google, wikipedia and reddit blackout when all the gambling sites got nuked?

Yeah it was a warning that you ignored.

Personally I am not one for protesting all of this garbage and I will never understand how protestors in the street complain when they get teargassed, beaten or shot.
If you don’t wanna get teargassed, beaten or shot just shut the fuck up, mind your own business and stop protesting. Problem solved.

But as for the sharing sites takedown and the coming regulations.
It is going to happen so learn to accept it and find different ways of making money or making yourself a hard target.

There are plans in progress to make it so when anyone is buying domain names will need a copy of a photo ID in the same way as opening a bank account.
Live with it. This was going to happen and we had it good for a long time.

The internet and that shithole facebook is responsible for governments being toppled so did you really think the government would leave such a powerful tool of potential destruction alone? If you did you are a bit of a gomper and i have a bridge for sale.

Remember though its your fault.

Its the Syrians and the rest of the people in the emerging world that coordinated revolution and its everyone else`s fault for allowing then to do it.

Its Biz Stones fault for accidentally having a successful site like twitter. But reality is its every one of the users.
Its Mark Zuckerbergs fault for facebook but as with twitter its mainly down to the users.

It our fault for allowing the dns system to work like it does and not noticing the flaws in the entire internet that are suddenly staring us in the face.

If you look at the history of everything that allowed mass communication the warning signs for impending legislation or regulation were already there and some of these so called smart people on the internet don’t seem so smart now do they?

Ham radio operators needed to get a license and do a test to be official and get a real id. Any else was a pirate and operating outside the law.
In the uk they banned AM, SSB and other frequency’s in favor of legalizing FM which only had a range of 30km as opposed to the SSB that could allow people to communicate globally.
Notes for the kiddies: In the olden days before the interents we used to have a transmitter/receiver called a CB (Citizens Band). Which is also where the name hackers came from. Hackers would mess with radio transmitters and receivers to improve the performance.
The box had a microphone/speaker and a 30 foot antenna on your house roof.
You could talk to some really strange people from across the world for no particular reason (much like the internet).
It had its own language such as 10/100 meaning you are going to take a piss. A Slab was the place you bought your CB equipment from.
People would also have these radios in their cars or trucks and groups of cars or trucks would go in convoy all chatting to each other or looking for an eyeball (a meeting).
People across the world had a way of communicating through airwaves in a very decentralized way. This was true peer to peer way before peer to peer was used on the internet.
2 people (hackers) could change a radio at both ends to go off the normal frequency’s and communicate pretty much undetectable to anyone.
In the brixton riots of 1981 the people were coordinating themselves with portable hand held CB radio in the same way that in the recent riots people were using blackberry’s. Soon after the government banned the frequencys and made you buy a license to just possess a CB.

In a similar way there were people sharing music through something called pirate radio.
Radio stations were very strictly controlled so some people got their own radio equipment and started broadcasting music without paying royalties in the same way the file sharing sites that are getting taken down do.

Radio Caroline moved onto a boat offshore in the ocean http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Radio_Caroline
In the same way thepiratebay is moving to a .se domain.
All this filesharing of music for free is nothing new and its all been done before.
If you have heard of Sealand. The basic story is that Roy Bates had a pirate radio station and he needed to move it somewhere offshore because the government were trying to close down so he went and took over an old abandoned army base. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Principality_of_Sealand#Occupation_by_Roy_Bates_and_the_establishment_of_Sealand

Everything that is happening with the internet now has happened before to the various different kinds of communication that common people used.
Its just that people have chosen to ignore the history and have not prepared for history to repeat its-self like it always does.

Try not to dwell on it and bore me with all this rebellion or making sites black because you were warned and you chose to ignore it.

You may have seen about these new laws they are trying to bring into legislation because everyone that has something to lose is complaining. Fark is down, reddit is down, google is showing a black logo and wikipedia is blacked out. Now at first i thought that these laws were a bad thing which would destroy the internet as we know it but on careful reflection and consideration they are a pretty good thing.

You ignored the warning signs

Its time the web went back to elitist and reversed the Eternal September.
Back in the days gone by when i was a lad and shep was a pup (<for the brits) there was only techies in universities using the interent for ascii porn or chatting about various nerdy things which normal people wouldn’t give a shit about.

Every September new admissions came to university (freshmen or something the Americans call them) and they would suddenly have access to the bulletin boards which were a circle jerk most of the year.
This September influx would be people that didn’t know the protocol or the manners you should use so they created chaos every September.
Of course through the year they would figure it out and everything would calm down but then September would come again and a new influx would come in disturbing the status quo.

In 1993 Aol (an old and redundant isp) started offering free access to the Usenet boards that were previously populated by university nerds and introduced this new world to the great uneducated, unwashed and uncouth masses.

One user described this influx that would never calm down or never end to be the Eternal September because it was very much like when the new Freshmen came to university but this one wasn’t expected to calm down or ever end.

Things have moved on a lot since then and the web has evolved a lot to have something for everyone.

This something for everyone was fantastic when it was people like myself and other web publishers building sites and content for the audience which were just internet users rather than participants.
I consider a participant as someone that builds content, builds ecommerce sites and published things for others to read.
A user to me is the one that buys from the ecommerce store and reads what someone else has written.

Unfortunately somewhere along the way the great unwashed masses from the Eternal September had another wave and this wave was in the form of Web 2 point sodding 0 where the users were encouraged to be participants.

Someone somewhere decided that it would be a good idea to allow people that really shouldn’t have a voice to actually have a voice and allow them to have a very loud voice if they had enough time to waste and enough garbage to say.

I wasn’t around for the first Eternal September because i was a heterosexual teenager so i was pretty drunk and up to the buffers in some sweet young vixen like any red blooded man should be.

I was around for the second wave of the Eternal September though when these plebeians that were previously reading our stuff started having a voice due to easy to use gui`s and the ability to publish content easily and without cost on the web.

Support Sopa and Support Pipa so we can move to a more fluid and what i would like to call a rolling or cascading Internet.

When the usa government blocked financial institutions from taking payments from online gambling players there was no outcry from those that didn’t have involvement in online gambling but this was a warning for the future.
Where were reddit, google and wikipedia when the government gave these warnings?
Too busy looking after their own interests i bet to even give a shit.

We found a way round taking payments from usa players by setting up florists and sending different processing codes or cascading the payments until one went through and for the most part lots of the industry survived.

But this online Gambling Ban was still a warning that everyone ignored to their detriment.

History always repeats its self.

We need a screwed up government like the usa government to do things like this and try and block the Internet because the internet is fundamentally flawed to begin with.
If the government can bring in blocks like this maybe people should stop whining about it and fix the problem they have created by relying on a 20+ year old protocol that uses dns and telephone lines.

I have spoken before how i run a private wireless Internet service in my local area to provide Internet for people the telephone companies wont service due to their remote location.
The main blocker in my whole setup is the telephone companies that can be a pain in the backside.

The way it works is i have a telephone line come into a building either through wimax or a landine and then it goes to the roof of the building to be broadcast around the area so normal computers can pick it up but i also have a link to another building.
At every stage my network has many different lines from many different service providers with redundancy and backup connections.
If an internet connection goes down it falls back onto another or i can switch it to another but if every connection goes down i never have a phone call because the network is also one huge lan so i can display a page on my proxy server telling everyone that there is a problem and it will b resolved.

We also have a corporate style chat network that Scneipp helped me setup so it works indpendently of any interent connection buy still keeps us all connected. i just use that for helping people with tech support and other stuff mainly because it seemed like a great idea at the time.

In this lan there is also lots of files and documents and lot of media such as movies and audio files because its 100% legal in spain to share and download films so in the rare instance that every connection went down (never in 2 years) there is plenty for them to do.

My point is that even when the lines go down i have the cache servers running so people can still view pages because its somewhat an intranet.

Various different people are suddenly suggesting different ways to circumvent this potential blocking, such as building a system as to where you have a node on the top of your building or various different ways without having an isp or point of failure/blockage.
The problem i have with this is the ones that are suggesting how to build this are only building it because they have suddenly realised how flawed the internet is so it says to me if they haven’t already built it by predicting this will happen they surely aren’t smart enough to put a solution together.

Yeah well
Rant over but forget about protesting to the government and stuff and if you are suddenly enraged by all this Pipa and Sopa just remember when we were all crying out about the gambling ban which you ignored because it didn’t affect you.

You were warned but you chose to ignore it so if the block does come in which i hope it does we need to remember out of every adversity comes the seeds of equal or greater success.

When you have been trying or indeed succeeding to make money online for a while you will probably hit on something that turns into an absolute cash cow. Whatever you do with a cash cow makes money and that money never seems like it will end.

Let me break down the typical stages and enhance it with a few scenarios.

You are grinding day and night just making some moneys and its all good.
You are accepted into the webmaster/seo/ppc community as just an equal.
You do the do and just get on with it.

Sudden Wealth Syndrome

You hit the big time and get something that really just seems to work for you and the money just seems to come out of nowhere.
You work very hard to maximize the money to get as much as possible because making money becomes addictive.

You brag to a few friends because suddenly you are the king daddy and can do no wrong on the web.
Or you suddenly start buying new cars, get new designs on your sites or generally have the appearance of more money.
Most likely it will be both of the above and you will buy plenty of bling whilst you are bragging how awesome you are.

At this point every parasite on the Internet will suddenly be your friend and sharing tips in a hope of getting a few secrets from you on how you are making money.

When you have been doing this stuff a while like myself you can spot the guys that are faking it and those that are struggling but those that suddenly hit a vain of gold stand out like a sore thumb because of a few of the reasons i mentioned above.

You will be on fire and you will be the king surrounded by people that want to share in your success.
You will be buying all those toys and spending the money like its going out of fashion because you just know tomorrow is another cash cow day and the end of the month will bring another monthly cheque in equal size to a normal persons yearly wage.

Affiliate managers will be allover you and nothing will be to much trouble to help you with anything you need.

The feeling you have now is the ultimate high and you are the king of the Internet and everyone loves you or nothing is too much trouble.

But then the cash cow may end very quickly.

What then?

Maybe the affiliate managers will give you a bit of time to try and help you recover to the position you were but if you don’t get back up fast you will find they are always very busy and don’t have much time for you.
If you are in a very competitive arena this will be especially true and you may never see your affiliate manager again.

What about all those people that were contacting you daily with those tips and being very friendly to you?
Suddenly those people will be nowhere to be seen and they will be sharing tips with the current hot kid on the block trying to wheedle information out of them.

So you have lots of toys in your drive and chances are because you thought the gravy train was never going to end you have spunked all your cash up the wall.

So in my opinion what can you do?

Well the feeling of buying a car from one months Internet earnings is like nothing else.
When people around you have been either making money or appearing to make money its a natural reaction for you to want to share your new found experience and brag about it.
DONT!

When your income is rising save as much money as you can. Remember this article. Bookmark it, Print it and use it as your anthem.
You haven’t suddenly become an uber guru overnight and you maybe just happened upon something that has made you a ton of money.

Learn to recognize the signs in yourself if you are making more money and have the effects i described its just SUDDEN WEALTH SYNDROME.

Save your money.
Allow people in but don’t let them get too close.
Remember this is a business and when you have value people will want that value but when your value diminishes they will move on.
Keep your mouth shut and don’t brag.
That new car or Rolex can wait till you have made sure this isn’t just a blip in your income but more of a constant increase.
