We are looking for someone to help us take our HDCoverage service business to the next level.

Our service offers clients a powerful tool to interact with their customers which helps build confidence in their network service as well as improving the initial sales process by increasing the accuracy of sales recommendations. We are constantly innovating to bring a wide range of network information facilities to public users as well internal network operator's staff.

The system has been operational with a very mature large operator for some time now and is proving to be very capable and robust. The time is right to increase our sales and marketing focus in order to take the solution to more clients and grow the business. We are therefore looking for a very capable sales and marketing person to help us establish our strategy for how to take the service to the global market and undertake a range of sales and promotional activities.

O2 Launch HDCoverage Services

O2 UK's customers now have easy access to up-to-the-minute information on known network outages and expected coverage levels using Synectics' HDCoverage services.

O2 did not need to deploy any new IT systems to support the new services, which are being provided entirely by Synectics through the use of state-of-the-art cloud-computing technology, hosted in highly secure and resilient commercial data centres.

O2's customers can use the new services to find out if there are any known service outages in their area using a simple geographical search (eg postcode) which returns information on planned and unplanned outages in the area and what the expected coverage levels are for both voice and data services.

The service also provides a beautiful new national coverage map allowing customers to examine expected coverage levels on a web map which gives a desktop-application-like user experience when zooming and panning around the map. The data in the system is automatically kept up to date to ensure that O2's customers always get the latest network information.
