The show begins with a dark palette with nary a bright colour anywhere. Soon enough you begin to get a peek of a flaming bright print here and there, under a belted ebony coat and peaking out on a collar.

The Bottega woman now imbibes a younger, tough-girl chic look with a definite '80s corporate appeal. I never thought I'd live to see Alexander Wang and Bottega share a common client image, but as it happens, Bottega's slant now provides for a refreshing chapter.

One of my favourite shows from Spring 2010 was Bottega Veneta's fresh take on white and neutral canvas, and I loved that it fully welcomed individual interpretation by means of accessories. I bet this will be a thorough change from the overly embellished outfits and textures of 2009. In the way of accessories, a screaming theme, 'chic peasant' is hardly ignorable, and seeing an exaggerated take

If I were to choose one perfume for life, I have to confess that it'd be a huge challenge.
I live for change and the fact that I usually have 2-4 beauty products on rotation for a regular basis definitely shows for it (and so does my bank account). There are, however, a couple perfumes that I keep coming back to, much like an old friend. One of my favourite would be Chanel's Coco Mademoiselle.

Her exquisitely shaped face is seen in the new Prada campaign & she was all over Paris & Milan Fashion Week, walking for the likes of Giles, Chanel, Alexander McQueen(& more), showing us she's not a face to be skipped.

This season, it seems like the Joe Fresh line took their name literally, since everything seen on the runway this week was entirely fresh & organic-looking. The colours, predominantly white, yellow and pink, were seemingly like a perfect choice to emphasize the airy & sheer look of the collection. I adore the little high-waisted underwear, (I assume) worn as shorts, the crocheted jacket & the

Toronto Fashion Week launched this past Monday. I usually keep my eyes out for the Greta Constantine show among all, as the clothes in this line (including the men's version of the very same, Ezra Constantine) are always made of excellent quality and usually with exceptionally original materials. This season, the designers Kirk Pickersgill and Stephen Wong took their creativity to the next

I truly love a risk-taker. Fashion eccentrics who made dressing up fun, are exactly what got me interested in fashion. I will guiltily admit that I observe trends (though few as they may be) and I'd like that to change, but I still constantly adhere to my personal taste & style as it evolves. So it makes perfect sense that the women I admire in a purely aesthetic manner dress & style themselves
