Welcome to the grand debut of the Troop 1 website!

For all you first timers to the site, please take a moment to read this.

As a gift to Troop 1 for it's celebrations of 100 years of scouting, I have made this website. It is fully functional and ready to roll. It has a splash page with links to three branches of the Troop 1 world: Troop 1, Crew 3, and Reindeer Manor Staff. The Troop 1 site has five sections of the site: The Home Page, A History Section, A Community Section, Data Files, and Support. The T1 site will allow us to do many things for T1. I'll list a few examples. Our Historian can use the newsletter signup forms to send a digital newsletter each month. We have a dedicated recruitment page that directly contacts the membership chairperson when newbies want to join. This way, we can just hand out business cards with a URL while recruiting!

The site is still under constant construction. You will notice that the history section is almost entirely empty. It is set up for when we get this information. There is still some valuable information there so please feel free to peruse.

There is also a Crew 3 site. It is very similar to the T1 site, but it has it's own information on it.

Both the T1 and C3 sites link to the same forums. The scouts and adults can use these to discuss campouts, merit badges, or any thing they feel like.

All sites are designed for use with Google Chrome so if you want the best experience, please download it. The link can be found a the bottom of every page.

We now also have a FB page! Be sure to go like it!

And don't forget, all of this is not just for current Troop 1 members. This is for all members of T1. New or old. So spread the word!

I updated the dates for the footers on all four sites today. I also added the T1 Broadcast Ticker and Facebook 'Like' Box to the splash page. So now you can read this directly from the T1 homepage! I'm working on getting more information for the site. I know that right now we have a lot of 'information coming soon' tags and I apologize. We are working diligently to get all of it updated. Eagle Scout Memorial

I went up to the Circle Ten Council offices for a few hours last night with Farah to verify the years of each of our Eagle Scouts. Oddly enough, we found a few missing. I will be calling the Council offices on Monday to discuss that with them, as well as verifying a few names that we absolutely couldn't find. All the information will be added soon!

This code is driving me nuts. There is a lot to do and I'm still working on the general architecture of the site. Once I get that and all the functionality of the site working then I am going to start working on the content of the site.... Just takes time.

So pretty much all of the code is done for the T1 & VC3 sites. Got SMF installed and themed for both sites. I need to set up the boards and member groups. All graphic design is done for now. I'm considering changing the troop site's background. IDK. We'll see. Laters!
