Cake Lingerie’s worldwide campaign ‘Real Mums, Real Fit’ invites ‘real’ mothers to be a part to be apart of their daring campaign to bare all, whilst in a family way – that’s right, you need to be a bump rocker!

Maternity Nautical

Nautical has been trending for a while now, but it’s only recently I am seeing it merging in the maternity collections. I am liking Topshops stripy tunic (£35) and their contrast shrug (£28). I am also loving the detail of this ASOS dress (£28) -the golden coloured buttons really add to that nautical feel. I’ve also seen this ASOS dress on Danielle Lloyd, it looked good. Very good. I’ll try and find a picture. Seraphine have a little nautical top in, which is okay and only £20. On the swimwear front Isis Maternity have the  Mama Beach Bikini in a bold red on sale for £46. I like. It’s also available in blue, but to be honest, I’m not too keen. And of course, there are loads of other striped tops out there.

So all you need to do next, is throw together some accessories to bring your look together. And if you’re looking for a little bit of cheap and cheerful, check our River Island. All their nautical bits are on sale.

Everyday Maternity Wedding Dress

Have I mentioned that I’m getting married soon? Like really soon?  Well I’m not the best wedding planner in the world, so with seven weeks left I am in mad wedding organising mode and upon my search for the perfect bridesmaid dresses, I came across this little beauty. Although it’s billed as a wedding dress, and a mighty nice one it would make at that, I think this little dress is also ideal for holidays and other occasions too.

It’s billed as being ‘Fabulously flattering and fully lined, the crepe dress skims over your silhouette yet hems in under the bust to show off some curves.’ I just like the simplicity of it yet it still have some lovely details. £139 from Everyday Maternity.

Personally, I am a big fan of jumpsuits so I like that I am beginning to see them appear for all you bump rockers…

First up we have the Olian Maternity Kora Knit jumpsuit, this one is only $43 in the Nordstrom sale. Bargain. I’m not normally a big fan of the Mothercare M2B range but they have a M2B Jumpsuit which I adore, in fact, it’s one of my favourites and costs just £40. I suspect it will be a best seller, you if you like, buy now. And of course, our good friends over at ASOS are bang on trend with the short length jumpsuit – a steal at £26. If you have a little of bit of money to splurge, you may like the Isabella Oliver Erin Jumpsuit £169. This one will look fab dressed up for a night out. Next up is the Maternity Jumpsuit from Queenbee, on sale at $49.95 but only left in a size large. I’m not surprised, this one has featured in magazines.
