The June FOMC has come and gone and...what a disappointment. My expectation was that Warsh would be more dovish than anticipated and I could not have been more wrong. Rate hike odds surged and with them both rates and the POSX. This, of course, led to massive smashes of CDG, CDS and the shares. Ooof.

So, there's not much we can do besides grin, bear it and talk it over. Let's start...

The initial stages of a peace deal have been agreed to and the initial stages of a price recovery have been launched. But just as the price collapse took weeks/months to unwind, the recovery will come in stages, too. This provides opportunity if we can time it correctly so let's discuss some plans today.

As we discussed the possible peace deal last week, it was mentioned that this time actually appeared different and that some sort of agreement was in the offing....and it was. So now what's next? An enduring settlement that allows the PMs to end their 100-day slog lower or just another rug pull?

There's no sense in going over the details because we really don't have that many details...

It was a volatile week but did you notice that the share ETFs fully reversed and actually managed to paint green hammerthingy candles onto their weekly charts? So, is this a sign of good things to come? Yes, I believe that it is.

Of course, everything hangs in the balance with the question of whether or not the US and Iran will come to some sort of official agreement over the weekend...

There's not a lot of news today so I thought that today might be a good time to take a detailed look at the charts in the hope of finding an entry spot for a trade later this week.
