last.fm is a website that is specialized in tracking peoples' music tracks, giving them recommendations, and accessing personal music collection from anywhere, without much efforts.

You can start with creating a last.fm account on their site, which is pretty simple. You can add some artists initially for a start.

The next step is to configure your media player for song reporting. This feature is easily present in most Linux media players. You just have to give the media player your last.fm username and password.

Here I'll show you how to configure VLC media player.

Open VLC media player.

From menu, Tools > Preferences.

Select the Audio tab, check the box saying "Enable last.fm submission" and enter your username and password.

Google has a very good service called Google Transliterate.
This service is only for the Indic languages , i mean only for indians ,as only indians can understand indian languages lol . It boasts right now upto 11 languages

Unlike Google Translate, Google Transliterate is a totally different concept. The name speaks for itself. You can easily ,fastly change and translate any language online and that too free . It is great tool if you want to give a presentation in another language with same pronunciation .
Google Transliteration offers an option for converting English characters to the characters used in Hindi. This lets you type Hindi words phonetically in English script and then have them appear in Hindi.
Note that this is not the same as translation - it is the sound of the words that are converted from one alphabet to the other, not their meaning.

On 28th july ,2009 when i opened twitter , i was shocked to see a different webpage ,i checked and rechecked the url and finally understood they have redesigned front page , lol

The earlier tag-line or description whatever was

“Twitter is a service for friends, family, and co-workers to communicate and stay connected through the exchange of quick, frequent answers to one simple question: What are you doing?

and now is has changed to

“Share and discover what’s happening right now, anywhere in the world”

If you're a regular around these parts, then you won't notice the new look unless you sign out of your account. Helping people access Twitter in more relevant and useful ways upon first introduction lowers the barrier to accessing the value Twitter has to offer and presents the service more consistently with how it has evolved.

It was nothing surprising that Yahoo closed Yahoo 360 ,a social networking site , on 13th july ,and that too didn't create any buzz due to inflammability ;)
It had very less traffic and poor pride , huge losses had occurred , so again like as Yahoo had closed many services , even this one http://360.yahoo.com/
It says

Yahoo 360 was almost like blogger but very very user unfriendly !
