After the competition of 7 wonders of world a year ago.We are here yet again with 7 wonders of india.NDTV recently announced about this nationwide campaign named 7 Wonders Of India.

This is 1st time that a media channel in association with tourism ministry announced such campaign.The initiative of this campaign is to glorify the indian heritage .

The contenders have been chosen from various states of the country.A Combination of man made monuments & natural .The 7 of those wonders will be choosen by public voting,which is already started on the dedicated site The Seven Wonders Of India.

Well Google Chrome Is quite a well known entity in todays world.Just after its beta launch it topped the charts & now one of the most downloaded browsers in the world & since it’s still quite new,people might not risk their essential details or information (such as password,important bookmarks) On their Chrome(in case it crashes).

Windows Live Writer -Amazing Bloging tool

Thanks harshad for this great find. He asked me to download this beutiful tool so that i can be able to post on my blog without having to open up a web browser & writing into the silly wordpress default editor.Windows Live Writer is any amazing utility for writing/editing a blog post. It has tons of features built in so you wont require anything from the web to do it.

When you install a fresh copy of it on your desktop ,it asks you to create a weblog account,there are 3 options to choose,
if you have a Windows Live Spaces or a sharepoint weblog you can choose those options,Or if you are having a Wordpress based web blog the you should choose the Another weblog service option.

After selecting that you are almost done. click next.

Here you should enter your blog details such as URL & ID password,then after this step,the software downloads everything on your desktop & you are now done with the set up.

Now just you have to write a post into it & click on publish button & you are done

There are various options like setting a posting date for scheduled posting,or if you want to update the post by adding anything new to the original post you can also edit the draft & update it by hitting publish.

This writer supports almost all blogging platforms,be it blogger,wordpress,Type Pad,Movable Type & much more. A Must have tool for every blogger.

Top 5 Bollywood Music Albums of the Year

This year was a bit of ups & down in bollywood film industry.There were few initial glitches to kick start the year 2008 but everything went nice by the time.

So here Are My personal Top 5 Bollywood Albums for the Year 2008:-

The Numero Uno Spot Goes undoubtedly to the undisputed best album of the year Rock ON.

Credit goes to awesome composing by The Great Bollywood Trio of Shankar Ehsaan & Loy,who gave us such wonderful songs & rather this was the 1st movie which introduced Rock to indian Audience in a more detailed way. With crazy lyrics & multitalented performance of singing & acting by our very own ,director, turned actor turned singer Farhan Akhtar. All the songs are just superb,Be it Rock On title track,Sochaa Hai, or be it the soothing track Yeh tumhari meri battein.Best Track from the movie for me is pretty much hard to choose.But i will go with tum ho toh fusion with Sindbad the sailor.

2ND spot for the best music album of the year goes to Jodha Akbar.

This one was an epic movie based on life of Emperor Akbar & His wife jodha.So the music was the most essential part of the movie to give the movie the royal feel & A.R Did just that. With many great songs like Jashne Bahara, & The Title track ,he also experimented with One sufi song ,Khwaja mere khwaja. The background score was also one of the best for a movie of this stature.Best track from this movie should be jashne bahara.

3RD spot Best Music album of the year in my opinion is The latest one Dostana

Dostana is one of the recent releases that is it was released rather late in this year (november).But the music is too good so i couldn’t resist myself adding this to one of the top 5 music albums of the year. This was a fun loving comedy movie & so the songs,quite simple & touching .vishal shekhar has done a fabulous job yet again & has proven their mettle in the business . They have a preety much of a mixed line up of songs,right from the songs like Jane kyon to the likes of desi girl. Or from Khabar nahi the romantic song to the sad song Kuch kum .As far as the best track of the album is concerned Maa da ladla The naughtiest song of the movie is the best track of the album.

4th Spot for the best music album of the year goes to Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na.

This also brings YET another feather in the Cap for the great A.R Rehmaan. It had all the music & masala to become a super hit album & who can avoid himself not listening to that fresh voiced song Kabhi kabhi aditi which was so much popular in the college students or the favorite dance number in the clubs Pappu can’t dance salla.The best song for this album,i would say Kahin toh.
5Th Spot for the Best Music album (last but not the least)to conclude the list of best 5 albums of the year, Bachna Ae Haseeno ,

So this ads up yet another great album of the year which brings vishal shekhars tally to 2.almost all of the songs of this movie were instant hits.To name a few Khuda Jaane ke , Small town girl or lucky boy.Also there was one folkish song jogi mahi which was also well composed.But the best one is the all time hit songs remake or rather stepped up version of the original classic sung by kishor da,The title Track Bachna Ae Haseeno.

I was just trying to download some youtube videos over the net using the plugin available for browsers.But the download speed was quite low ,it took me a lot of time to download one single file.What more disappointing is that it was in the FLV format so i couldn’t directly copy it on my mobile to watch it on the go. So i tried searching for better source for youtube videos downloading & viola ,i found one. The name is YouTubeGet.I thought i should give it a try & read the words Its just amazing.It turned out to be a life savior for me.

Because apart from downloading the video from the youtube ,it gives us options to convert the video in different formats such as 3GP,MP4,AVi,WMV & lots of other known popular formats. Over the past few weeks 2 of my friends were searching for a laptop & they were literally going berserk all over the streets of the local hardware shops & asking for doing a review of any model before buying it according to their budgets & needs.
