The recruiter seems to be in a frantic search to find superstars among the crowd, and his way to &quot;find&quot; them is to &quot;sign them up&quot; and then watch and wait. The recruiter believes in &quot;love ‘em and leave ‘em. He expects the superstars to eventually rise to the top, and the others to eventually quit. The sponsor has a different attitude. He believes that any person worth sponsoring is worth developing. The sponsor believes in &quot;marrying&quot; the people he sponsors. The recruiter believes in the &quot;one-night-stand&quot;.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Being a sponsor is an ongoing, continuing activity. It is this ongoing activity that creates loyalty to the sponsor, and gives the sponsor serious credibility. The recruiter is a traveling salesman; once he has sold you, he is gone. The sponsor is a helper/teacher who wants you to have the training and tools you need to be successful, and the encouragement to keep plugging.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;There is also a transferable concept here. Your sponsor wants you to be a sponsor. A sponsor develops other sponsors by deliberate, careful help and encouragement. A recruiter expects a born superstar.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I have six sons. Each time that I went to the hospital nursery, I was a proud father of a baby boy. As I looked at those babies in that nursery, they each had a card that read either &quot;boy&quot; or &quot;girl&quot;. Not one of those cards read &quot;superstar&quot;. In all those trips to the nursery, I never found one superstar. Superstars are &quot;made&quot;, they are not &quot;born&quot;. They are &quot;developed&quot;. Making a superstar takes training, encouragement, help, patience, and time. It takes being a sponsor.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;What does it take to become a superstar? It take a lot of attitude-type things, such as confidence, commitment, determination, credibility, etc. Where do these &quot;attitude&quot; type things come from? They are learned. They are taught. They are &quot;caught&quot;. Here are the stages of the development of a superstar.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;1. Have a real sponsor.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;2. Learn to be a real sponsor.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;3. Develop others who will be real sponsors.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;4. Teach them to teach others to be real sponsors.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The secret to Networking success is found in this: the recruiter is not building a &quot;multi-level&quot; organization, it is all one level (and most of them will quit). The sponsor is building a duplicatable system that can run downline through his organization. This builds a powerful downline because it is built deep and strong.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;What is the difference between a recruiter and a sponsor? It is the difference between &quot;hype&quot; and &quot;help&quot;. The sponsor’s job begins when you enroll; the recruiter’s job is done when you enroll. The fact that grapes are rich in antioxidants-which, coincidentally, are also beneficial to heart health has already been established, yet this study revealed that grapes contain 10 previously unidentified flavonoids. The 10 new flavonoids outperformed other previously identified flavonoids when used to inhibit the enzyme thought to be responsible for the growth of cancerous cells. This particular enzyme arranges - or rearranges-the genes in cells responsible for growth and reproduction. Current studies indicate that when cancer cells begin proliferating it may be in part due to problems associated with this enzyme. If the new flavonoids discovered in grapes do indeed inhibit this enzyme and thus kill or stop the growth of cancer cells, you can see why researchers are so excited.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Grapes also contain a compound called resveratrol, a natural antioxidant that may have earned the &quot;Fountain of Youth&quot; title. In a study published in Nature, researchers reported that resveratrol found in grapes has been linked to reduced risk of cancer, atherosclerosis, heart disease, and age associated diseases like Alzheimer&#39;s. According to the research group, resveratrol mimics calorie restriction, activating enzymes that slow aging and increasing DNA stability, thus extending cell lifespan by as much as 70%.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;In addition, grapes also contain a compound called pterostilbene. According to a report given by Agnes M. Rimando, PhD, of the U.S. Department of Agriculture at the 228th National Meeting of the American Chemical Society, pterostilbene may reduce cholesterol and triglycerides just as well as prescription drugs, promoting improved cardiovascular health.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Blueberries&lt;br /&gt;Blueberries have rightly earned the title of being one of the richest sources of antioxidants. Blueberry antioxidants help protect against the ravages of aging, heart disease, and cancer as well as diseases like Alzheimer&#39;s and Parkinson&#39;s. A landmark study published in the June 9, 2004, issue of the Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry showed that just one cup of berries provides all the disease-fighting antioxidants your body needs in one day. Of berries-which handily won in a comparison of foods known to provide antioxidants-cranberries, blackberries, and blueberries ranked the highest. &quot;We are excited to learn that blueberries, which are already rich in healthy compounds, may also be a potent weapon in the battle against obesity and heart disease,&quot; reported Rimando. Rimando&#39;s research indicated that blueberries contain pterostilbene-that&#39;s right, the very same substance found in grapes. The difference between the two, however, is that the blueberry pterostilbene may be even more potent than the grape. The study further demonstrated that pterostilbene has cancer-and diabetes-fighting properties. Blueberries might also be your best bet for keeping that youthful appear- ance. &quot;Blueberries, strawberries, cranberries, and raspberries are all loaded with antioxidants, which save cells from premature aging,&quot; explains dermatologist Nicholas V.
