Zeal Test Day One, February 10th, 2014... Sample Wild Berry #1

2014-02-10T10:05:00.001-06:00

As you can tell from the title, today begins the zeal wellness test. I started my morning off with the Wild Berry Zeal Wellness Sample that was sent to me by Leisa Renae Engelken Telinde- Mom and Me's Zeal for Life. She is a Managing Consultant from Alva, OK.

Here is a bit of her story, as told first person by Leisa:

I grew up drinking diet cokes most of my life, since a pre-teen. I have been overweight all of my life. In my 20's I did the Phen-Phen diet and got down to a healthy weight of 160 lbs, however, that had its toll on my body. I ended up with a Heart Murmor and all of the weight that I had lost came right back on plus some. In my mid to late 30's I was properly diagnosed with Polycystic Ovarian Disease and later in my 30's with Type II Diabetes. I was taking 1000mg of Metformin 2x's per day to help with my Diabetes and weight, that still was not working. No matter how hard I tried the weight would just not come off. The doctor would say eat more salad and exercise. I did, still nothing. I was so frustrated but didn't know what else to do. I met a lady at a home show in Woodward in the Fall of 2012, she introduced me to a product called Zeal for Life. I went home that night and looked over her website and tried the samples that she had sent home with me over the next few days. I felt an instant change in my body, so hard to explain but felt changes from the inside out. That week I signed up as a consultant!! I am happy to report that since starting the 90 day challenge, I am down 30 lbs and my metformin has been cut in half to 500 mg 2x's per day and my bloodsugar is stabilizing!! I have not had a diet soda since March 2013. I am craving more fruits and veggies now and have probably eaten more fruits and veggies since starting on Zeal. I have more energy and more mental clarity. Thank you Zeal and the Zurvita Family for giving me hope for my family and my future. I made an appointent with my dr, bloodwork all good and I had lost more weight. My doctor told me to keep doing what I'm doing!! I love Zeal and the wonderful people who are involved with this amazing company!! I love how I can work as a Paraprofessional at school during the school year, be off work with my kids when they are out of school and share Zeal with people part-time and bring in another income for our family. I want to share this with the world!! God Bless!!
Here are my first day pictures( granted not the best, but here they are , and what I used to kick off my morning.):

Zeal test begins today.

Started with wild berry sample number one mixed with 6 oz of Sprite as recommended in the paperwork I received.

Starting weight 235.6 pounds. (I just figured out what I would have to lose to get to at least 130, and it would 105.6 lbs, so I might go with higher side and aim for the 140, which would put me 10 lbs lighter than what I weighed all through high school which was 150 lbs.)

Flavor is surprisingly good especially mixed with sprite. I will be interested to taste the grape tomorrow with the other part of the sprite.

It takes a lot for me to put myself out there like this, but this is part of my 2014 year of trying new things, and I am keeping an open mind to new things this year.

So this is a new experience for me, and I will take you along for this journey to see what happens, and if it works for me, it could work for you in your weight loss journey.

I encourage you to join the blog as a follower if you would like to keep up with the journey.

Till tomorrow.....

Powerstrips Day 7&8, February 8 &9, 2014....

2014-02-08T22:12:00.000-06:00

Night 7 & 8 right around shoulder and neck area.

Another hot spot in the rotator cuff area.

Big problem for me when I am stressed or have been doing a lot.

This is the last if the strips. Thank You LisaRoberts for participating in my blog.

Once I applied the strip, that area, that was on fire like a 1000 straight pins, dropped temperature wise, and is working.

It may stink, but in that stink there is something that is working, I do not know what it is, but it is working, and I am living proof.

Over the last few days I have tried it on my lower back, middle of my back, my neck and now the shoulder area.

Like I said I don not know what it is, but they do work. Give them a shot.

Do not forget to stop by Lisa's site at: http://1696905.fgxpress.com

Review will follow soon on my examiner page.(Monday most likely).

Here are a pictures for days 7&8:

I hope when you stop by to visit Lisa's page, and if you are asked where you heard about it, you will let her know that you saw it here, and let her know Nannette Morrison sent you. Have a great evening.

Powerstips days 5 and 6, February 6 & 7, 2014....

2014-02-08T21:51:00.001-06:00

Day 5 and 6.

Where my neck and shoulders meet on my back.

This has been another area of pain for years.

I have a disk on either side of my neck that is slipped or bulging, I honestly can't remember what my former chiropractor told me.

But right now I feel warm working on the spot.

I hope it works its magic again.

When removed it came off without any problems, since it was around my neck a few hairs got pulled when hubby removed it. But that is to be expected.

Here are the pictures for days 5 and 6:

We will see what days 7 and 8 bring, stay tuned...

Powerstrips Days 3 & 4, February 4th and 5th, 2014.....

2014-02-05T20:38:00.000-06:00

Days 3&4 . For this test of the power strips, I had my husband put it square in the middle of my back.

Square in the middle of my back is another problematic spot for pain for me.

After I had my kids I ended up with what I call a permanent hot spot from where they stuck the needle to deaden me for my c-sections.

Hopefully this will help to relax this part and lessen the tinges I get every now and then.

Once again it came off in one fell swoop, but soaked with sweat once again, but I have come to expect that.

Here are the pics from days 3 and 4: (Remember this is square in the middle of the back for this test.)

I have to say, this has really worked wonders on my hot spot area in the smack middle of my back. I have not had the tinges near as bad , if at all over the past two days.

We will see what days 5 and 6 will bring tomorrow....

Powerstrips Testing February 2nd and 3rd, 2014- Days 1 and 2.....

2014-02-05T16:36:00.000-06:00

Well the power strips test has begun. This sample comes courtesy of Lisa Roberts, who resides in Canada.

Here is a bit of Lisa's story,as told by Lisa :

I live in Northern Ontario Canada(Hawk Junction).

I am the proud mom 5 wonderful healthy kids (ages 4-16). I love reading , being outdoors, camping, traveling, making new friends.

I exercise 5-6 times a week, enjoy researching health, I love juicing.

But the most precious moments of my day are the ones I spend with my family.

I have always had a passion for health & fitness. In the past I have helped people with improving health, weight loss, fitness plan….. I did this as a hobby for years, because I love to do it.

When my husband was hurt in the mines 5.5 yrs ago (back injury, with nerve damage).

I decided I needed to help out financially to help out the family.

So I got to work to research many wellness companies.

Taking 1 yr before making a decision, I wanted a company that I would feel good using every single product, and also being able to give them to my kids.

So I joined Forevergreen, this gave me the nutritional tools to continue to do what I love to do, help other live healthier lives.

I started sharing with others this incredible business, and in November 2012 I went to the Las Vegas leadership summit.

At this conference and new product & division was announced. Powerstrips by FG Xpress (Forevergreen Xpress).

A product that helps the body naturally reduce inflammation, pain relief, increase energy and so much more….. I knew that this was something that so many other needed.

So now I have added Powerstrips to my tool box .

The results that I have personally witness with this product is amazing.

I love being able to get out there everyday and help make a difference in people’s physical health.

FgXpress has been in pre-launch for one year now. With our launch in MArch 2014 back in Las Vegas.

My goals is to help as many people as I can, with health, fitness & business.

I am a positive leader who supports & encourages others.

The more people out there feeling good, making their dreams come true, the better the world around us will be.

To know more about Powerstrips & FgXpress visit my websites below http://1696905.fgxpress.com

Powerstrips day one and two. Lower back right by where hips and tailbone meet. Two disk in this area give me fits daily and a hitch in my get along like no one's business. Over the past 2 days I have been able to get up and down with no hitches and bend over to transfer laundry from washer to dryer without having that frozen hip feeling and having to get my hips back under me. The strip has worked magic in that spot. (On the end of the second day we removed the strip all wrinkled and soaked with sweat. It came off rather quickly, which was good. Once you get past the smell not bad.)

Here is a couple of pictures from the first experience:

Keep your eyes peeled for the next post with days 3&4....

Influenster-Dove Vox Box Testing....

2014-02-05T16:20:00.000-06:00

#RaiseYourArms

Today I received my Dove VoxBox from Influenster. I am looking forward to testing out the Deodorant they sent.

The deodorant is the Dove New Advanced Care Deodorant with Nutrium Moisture. For those that know me, I have been using secret gel for years, so this will be a new experience for me.

I am looking forward to blogging about this journey with this product, it is a great inclusion for my year of trying new things.

Here is a picture of what I received as part of the testing for this campaign:

Keep your eyes peeled, you never know when I will post about my dove experience....

Treskin Rx Final Day 14, February 1st, 2014....

2014-02-01T22:24:00.000-06:00

I went ahead and I am posting this last posting on time, as I will be doing my examiner review on this product line tomorrow.

After 14 days, My skin with guidance from Wendy Webb- Treskin RX Launch Manager, has really started to feel better again, and I enjoy the fact that there is less oil to contend with since using the oily skin line of this product. (And for those of you that know me, I have some oily skin, and have for years.)

This line really has been a little god send in a test size. I plan to continue to use it until it runs out. Once you get past the smell of the blemish cream, it is not so bad.

(When I started this test 14 days ago, I started out with the normal line, and then switched over to the oil skin line and got better results. The night cream in the normal line, the scent brought back the smell of cold cream, that I used to use to remove clown make up when I was a clown minister at my church, or stage make up from when I used to be in the community theatre in KY when I was little. The texture on it was so smooth and not pasty, which made it is to apply. )

Once again the pictures maybe out of order, but it has always been what you see is what you get.

Over all, this product line, once the right combination is found can be very beneficial when done in the correct sequence.

Here are the pictures from the final round:

Thanks again to Wendy Webb Treskin RX Launch Manager, for contributing this product line for testing on my blog. You can find Wendy's website at: http://my.treskinrx.com/wendywebb , to learn more about the product line, and how it may benefit you.

Wendy has let me know that you can purchase the 2 week trial from her site noted above for $14.99(button is at the bottom of her website home page.) Let her know, Nannette sent you.

(*Wendy is a great person to work with, she helps to find the correct combination, and keeps up with you along the way. )

Here are a couple of pics from the beginning and the end:

Day One

Day 14

Well tomorrow begins the Powerstrips test for this blog, and it will go until February 9th. So keep your eyes peeled for that.

BzzAgent Campaign: Schick Hydro Silk Razor.....

2014-02-01T12:32:00.002-06:00

I have been very fortunate to be able to take part in the BzzAgent Campaign for the Schick Hydro Silk Razor over the few weeks.

I have to be honest, this Schick Hydro Silk Razor I received free as a part of the campaign to try and the coupon for the free skintimate to go with the razor have been great.

I will not be going back to a single edge razor ever again. This razor and skintimate has spoiled me for the rest of my life.

I know I said I would only post product pics, but I think you need to see my results from using this razor, and the complimenting shave gel , I got to go with it.

Here are the pics from the leg and chin whisker tests: (Remember what you see is what you get.The pictures maybe out of order, but they are all there of both test. )

The Final Scentsy Test once again takes on the Bathroom!

2014-01-18T21:38:00.000-06:00

Let's face it, we all can admit if Scentsy can survive the bathroom and make it smell good,
then Scentsy can conquer any room in the house. Over the last 4 days I have put the sample
to the test.
You will see in the pictures what is left after the four days:

It really is amazing how long a little sample lasted and how it made my home smell delicious, even though the hubby made the pucker face at the scent. He called it grape with a kick.

So, if you have the chance stop by Renee's page at: www.reneeholdren.scentsy.us , and let her know Nannette "scent" you.

Thanks again Renee.

Scentsy Grape Granita Sample vs. the Stinkiest Room in the house-The Guest Bathroom!

2014-01-17T20:57:00.000-06:00

That's right folks tonight in this corner the sample of Grape Granita that Renee sent me to test, and in the other corner, the stinkiest room in the house- the guest bathroom.

I wanted to see if Scentsy Grape Granita could stand up to the job of removing the odor from a small bathroom. I ran the burner for one hour with the sample melting in it, and what do you know I can smell it in the living room now. I have to say, it still smells yummy. I have a feeling when I pull the plug at 930pm, it will smell delicious all night in there.

Here are some pics from where I put it tonight for the hour I ran it:

So far night three has gone well, we will see what the final test brings tomorrow. Till then.

Gotta Sample, Let's Talk...

2014-01-17T10:15:00.000-06:00

As mentioned in a previous posting, I am making 2014 my year to try new things.

Right now I have tried Nerium, as you can see by the postings. I am doing a Scentsy sample test with my generic burner, as you can also see by my newer postings .(That test will end January 18th, 2014.)

From January 19th to February 1st, 2014 I will be doing a Treskin rx test to see how it works.

Other samples that are pending arrival include the following: Younique, Plexus Slim, Pink Zebra, Slumber Parties, a Vi cereal sample, a book to review from Usborne Books, and Powerstrips.

I am looking for more companies to add to my schedule, so I can do a full years worth of blogging for at least 2 of my blogs. That means I am looking for at least 94 more companies, that would not mind having their product or company blogged about. 100 companies would be great even.

Where you land in the scheduling depends on how fast I receive your product, and how long you recommend the testing done for( ie. 1 day, 1 week, 2 weeks, etc...) You have to let me know.

If you are interested in participating here is what you will need to do:
Email me at: youngavonmom@yahoo.com
OR
Message me on Facebook. You can find my personal page at:https://www.facebook.com/nannette.p.morrison. You will need to make a friend request, and once I accept it, then we will be able to message back and forth with no problems.

Also, you will need to include:

A bit of background- how you got started, what you favorite products of your line are, and a website I can refer people to so they can come and check it out. And if there is anything else you would like to known this is the place to put it in with.

If you have any informational material that could help me understand you products better, I would appreciate that also.

I am really looking forward to seeing what new items there are to try from all your great companies in 2014! I hope to fill this blog full of information about you and your companies/products, drive some traffic your way.(and finally,I hope to add new readership to this blog as to increase my reach online and make this a blog people can enjoy and use as a reference.)

May you have a blessed 2014 and may your sales be bountiful to your hearts desire.

Sensational Scentsy Sample Day Two

2014-01-16T13:52:00.001-06:00

This Scentsy Grape Granita sample that Renee sent me is really holding up well. I ran it this morning in my kitchen as my husband got ready for work, and it filled my kitchen with Grapey Granita Goodness. Then I turned it off and the scent is still lingering, which is great.

Here are the pictures today:

From the pictures with no flash you can see how well the heat source for this generic warmer is working. But from the ones where you can see the sample in the top. From the time it stopped yesterday, and solidified to when it was reheated this morning, just this little bit has masked the odor of four dogs and my kitchen.(Yes I admit it, after 2 days, this little sample is a trooper.) We will see what day 3 brings. Till tomorrow.
