Most men don't think about this before they decide to go to a club and many don't realize the pre"dick"ament they are in until they are actually back in the VIP lounge with a sexy girl for an erotic striptease. Of course we know. Think we haven't seen that painful look of lust before? Most guys would not be caught dead in anything but jeans in a strip bar, but think carefully. Yes the track pants are a dead giveaway you are not only hoping to get an erection, but also that you are also hoping the lady sees the easy access to your tool of pleasure and will want to play with it (lol that is hilarious, but cause many guys actually do come in with the track pants! And many pull it out thinking we are going to be amazed by their raised scepter of love).

The secret is a nice pair of dress pants, chinos, or cargo pants (remember to remove all objects from the cargo pants pockets before the dance). Yes your buddies may think you are an idiot, but you are not there for your buddies (if you are you are in the wrong bar!). Another VIP Faux Pas are the guys with Spastic Hands or are just rough in general. These gentlemen are also usually well intentioned (not always), but again miss the mark when dealing with the sexy girl of their choice. When you are rubbing your hands over a dancer (in the states/provinces where it is permitted), it should be done in a fluid motion. Jerky movements and hard pinching or grabbing is not erotic for most people.

The best thing is to start off gentle and then see what the reaction is if you try a little rougher. Remember most of the ladies are just the girl next door, not a porn star. Or wait until she indicates that she wants something a little more intense. As with the Golden Retriever one has to gauge the reactions to what you are doing.

Personally I have no qualms about telling a guy during a sexy striptease that he is too rough or to go slower, but many ladies just put up with it. On the flip side the ladies SHOULD let a guy know when they are doing something wrong and not just put up with it. You should be enjoying your job as much as the gentleman is enjoying your striptease!

If you are a guy that just thinks he should be allowed to handle the naked girl anyway he likes because he is paying, think again. This is the ultimate in rude and boorish behaviour. You are an adult, so behave like one! If the lady doesn't protest, she should be. Well he paid me without protest and left. Believe it or not he was back 2 weeks later and asked me for another dance. Now this is an extreme case of the rough handling. lol just thought it was an interesting story to share with this topic!

The First Answer to the Katagories Of Strip Club Etiquette-The Golden Retriever

Golden Retriever: Ok not every client does this but a LOT of them do. Unlike some of the other things they do I can never predict prior to the VIP that he will do this.

Basically a Golden Retriever is a guy that slobbers all a stripper's neck and shoulders during a private lap dance. No I don't mean neck nibbles, as those can be very erotic. I am talking about all over drooly sloppy doggy slurping with what seems to be a huge dripping wet tongue. *shudder* Now obviously some people like this and I am sure many dancers do, but to just start doing it without asking first is just rude. The best rule of thumb is: don't do to the naked lady what she isn't doing to you. If the girl is giving you nice DRY neck nibbles then reciprocate. If she is giving you sloppy doggy kisses then it is a good bet that she likes that (P.S. That is a good general rule of thumb for regular dating too....your partner will generally show you what they like by doing it to you). Strip Club Etiquette and Tips for the VIP

Behaviours that seems obvious no-no's to dancers seem to be a bit of a mystery to many men that visit strip clubs and in particular the VIP lounge. I am not saying that every man that goes to strip bars make the same mistakes, but there does seem to be a common trend of certain particular behaviours that I can't understand. 90% of the men I take into the VIP lounge for a private striptease are great guys (I generally weed the jerks out before I get naked for anyone), but there seems to be a few behaviours that repeat themselves over and over. Keep in mind I work in Canadian clubs that allow more liberties than many American clubs allow (varies state by state I understand) so I am going to be writing from my perspective in a club that allows quite a bit of stripper to client contact in their lap dances.

I know there are a lot of sexy ladies on Girltime that have been dancers and I want to see if they have had the same experiences and can guess the kind of guy that I mean in the following "Katagories". Some may be obvious, others not so much.

The Photo Shoot

I had a photo shoot done by a photographer I met at my bar about 13 years ago. I have noticed that there seems to be a trend of guys hanging around strip joints with "portfolios" that claim to be adult photographers. In reality are just looking for another angle to get laid by the sexy girls. I thought my friend Bob was one of those guys at first.

He has the quirky personality of a photographer, but he just didn't have the look. He is a self proclaimed pig (nothing wrong with that as so am I!) and a wacky sort of charm. I didn't take him seriously 13 years ago when he said he wanted to photograph me and I quit dancing soon after he offered. Well 11 years later he showed up at my bar again and by that time I knew he was on the level and not on the make. He didn't ask me again but assumed I knew the offer was still open.

The thing is I can't really afford to have a professional shoot done so I never bothered to talk to him about it. Finally one day he told me he needed guinea pigs as he had a new $10 000 Nikon camera package. This included the camera and the umbrellas with the flashes all programmed to flash by remote when he clicks. Pretty cool! He wanted test subjects that were not too worried about the quality of the pics and would be patient as he fucked around with the settings of the new camera. He is well into his 50's and I tell you this is a VERY high tech camera, so I applaud him for taking such a huge leap. In return for posing for him I was to get all of the pictures he took that day for free. There were 687 in all and the shoot took 2.5 hours!

As most people know, hundreds of pictures are taken in a shoot and if you are able to use 1/4 of them it was a good day. I was VERY happy to look through all the photos and see over 300 that I could use! The first set of photos he took were of me in regular street clothes with a sexy bra set underneath. The whole set is a sexy striptease. These will appeal to the guys that like that girl next door look or like exhibitionists. What's been happening

Hello again everyone.

A promised I was going to tell you what has been going on. It has been a rough year so far in the dancing world because my club has been having difficulties with the city. The city has been wanting the land for a long time to redo the intersection the club was placed upon and they went about it in a pretty underhanded way.

Instead of trying to buy it at an appropriate price they tried to put us out of business stating that the owners were not suitable because they allow actions in the club which, in their opinion, are demeaning and degrading towards women. (In other words they were trying to prove that sex was going on in the VIP area instead of just intimate dances.) This was complete bullshit of course as all the sexy girls loved working there. What it did though was allow the city to harass us constantly. The police were always in the parking lot, they conducted undercover operations trying to catch ladies soliciting (which they never were successful doing) and just being general busy bodies. This unfortunately kept the customers away (as intended). If they could drive the bar out of business then they wouldn't have to pay so much for it. Consenting adults are consenting adults. The law needs to stay out of that!

Long story short, the city was not successful, lost the lawsuit and the owners got a decent price for the bar, but in the mean time the dancer's and bar's income suffered severely. The bar still had to close once the city bought it and the naked girls and staff all had to look for a new place to work.

I have had a horrid time trying to find a new place to work. Unfortunately a lot of the people that run adult establishments don't have the highest of ethics and treat the staff like shit. I tried 4 bars with no luck. I finally did find a place about a month ago and it has the same family feel of the old place. "Cheers with naked ladies" as I like to say. So I am getting established and trying to decide on what days to work there. This is why some of you have seen me on a Friday and other days lately. Also Seasonal Depression is something I am subject to and with all the crap that was going on with the bar I was not in a blogging mood. Also it is hard to be an exhibitionist in Canada in the winter months...lol

I do think I will be eventually going back to my old hours. However things have been tight financially because of the turmoil so I am going to have to dance 3 days a week for the next little while. Expect me here on Sundays and Mondays, but not Tuesdays for the next month or so. Tuesday is going to be my new day off and I will be at the bar Wednesday night and then Thursdays and Fridays will be double shifts.

Sophie Hits the Nail on the Head

The intelligence and comprehension that Sophie has put in her blogs has me reeling. When I read most of her insights I feel like I am looking into a mirror because there so much I agree with. This entry in her blog in particular struck a chord with me.

My entire family has no clue about my erotic stripper, webcam lifestyle. Let me be clear, I am not ashamed of what I do for a living and if they found out I would deal with it. I am not close enough to my siblings to really care what they think, but my mother would be devastated. She would believe that I was being degraded and demeaned. She would not understand that I am more in control of my life and I am happier than I have ever been. Both my mom and my sister are aware that I do phone sex and they really don't approve. However they do see how happy I am and so far they seem to able to live with the phone only part. I am also able to help my mom with her finances in a way I was never able to when I was working (and miserable as hell) in the insurance industry.

I get the question/comment all the time: "Wow you are so intelligent and have so much going for you, you should be doing something with your life". I think this is supposed to be a compliment, but it isn't. It is a huge slap in the face. I endeavor to make people feel good about themselves on a daily basis. Sophie asked in this entry how people try to brighten someone's day and I gave a very ambiguous response. The first 2 days of 4 at the club

Wheee Well it was a fun day (Thursday...it is 3:02 am Friday now so don't look for grammar or spelling or anything making much sense) although a crappy one profit-wise. My bar is going through some difficulties with the city right now and with cops and by-law officers there ALL the time it has scared away a lot of the great guys that I have danced for. There were some of my favorite regulars at the club (but guys that don't get dances) and lots of the really nice girls that are usually there during the day. So what does one do on a day where there are few or no clientele to do a striptease for? Why drink of course! lol I am a pretty moderate drinker, but because I do double shifts I have the option to be a little tipsy in the earlier hours of the day. So the sexy ladies and I decided to get happy and there were some very kind gentlemen more than delighted to help us reach that state! lol. I have never been a huge party person but the club seems to be a different atmosphere where the partying is definitely an attractive aspect. I manage to get all my partying needs satisfied at this club. The people are SO cool and kind and just fun to be around. I have joked many times about my club being "Cheers with naked girls" but it is true. Everyone knows everybody's name here. Everybody is ready to buy the person at the next table a drink. Everyone is welcome at anyone else's table (at least during the day...the night is a bit different but not much!). A lot of people tend to think of strip joints as scummy places where there are just a bunch of perverts trying to grab the sexy girls. Most of the time this isn't true. If the guys there are perverts well then so am I ( although we already knew that about me didn't we?). Most of them just like the atmosphere, the wait-staff and the people. Sure they could probably find a bar where there were no naked ladies and get companionship, but I don't think it would be the same. There is more tolerance here, and because people tend to judge those that go to and work at strip clubs there seems to be less prejudice and snobbery. Whatever the reason, I love to be there. Off To The Club For 4 Days in 2

As many of you know, every Thursday and Friday I work double shifts at one of the local strip clubs. I know I've appeared to be somewhat negative about exotic dancing in recent posts, and I just wanted to assure everyone that I actually love what I do. The freedom I have to be my own boss (within reason) is very liberating, and there is a fantastic group of people at this particular striptease establishment. From the bar staff, to the regular customers, to all of the wonderfully sexy girls, I really do have a group of friends there. It sorta reminds me of our own Girl Time Community of webcam girls, exhibitionists and voyeurs!

In the future, look for me to start to show my experiences of the lighter side of the striptease industry. I'll always stay honest (the Big Kahuna told me he likes me that way!), so there will still be posts that illustrate some of the less favourable aspects of walking around in a bikini, or almost naked all day, but there are so many positive experiences that I'm going to attempt to focus more on those.

Anyhow, wish me a fun and profitable couple of days, and I'll be making mental notes of any interesting anecdotes that I may experience!

Dating Dancers revisited

Well I posted a LOOONG reply to Rafa's story and when I re read it I realized it was not exactly the feeling about dating and dancers that I intended.

When I re think it I did mean most of what I said but I concentrated on the more negative aspects. What I truly mean to say is that the adult industry isn't an easy industry to have TRADITIONAL relationships in due to it's very nature. Anyone keeping this in the forefront of their minds can have a great relationship with someone in the adult world. Dancers have chosen a career outside the scope of regular society and it can usually be assumed that their relationships are not going to be typical either. Our job is about being a fantasy girlfriend to the returning clients in addition to the intimate striptease. This means that we are creating a sexual/emotional bond with each person that becomes a regular customer of ours. They talk about their families and lives and like someone to listen to their problems as well as having that sexy erotic fantasy with the lady of their choice.

Many men that date dancer's (and are hoping for an exclusive relationship) don't realize this aspect of our jobs and become jealous of the bonds created with our customers. We talk about our customers in a caring way because to a certain level we do care for many of them above and beyond "what is necessary to do our jobs". When we share with our partners that "so-and-so is a nice guy" and what a good time we had that day with that person, the partner that doesn't understand what the job is about can sometimes freak out and fear that we care more for the client than we do for our partner. Funnily enough many spouses of psychologists have the same issues.

I have successfully had a long term relationship with my husband because there is mutual respect for our roles in our relationship and regards to my job(s). What works for us is that I have to realize that he always comes first and will be there whenever he needs me for whatever reason. He has to realize that I have enough affection and caring to share with my clients but it in no way diminishes the love I feel for him.

To a degree you are sharing your partner with the adult industry more so than you would if she were a secretary. This has to be discussed and understood between both parties. The guy should realize that what she is doing isn't cheating and she has to discuss with him exactly what she does with/for her clients with her partner openly.

Another aspect is what happens when a client gets out of hand. It is always the guy's first instinct to defend his wife/gf, but he cannot do so. It is up to the bouncers and staff to deal with unruly customers. This is a VERY difficult thing for most boyfriends/husbands to do which is why mine rarely comes out to the club! He loves to watch me dance and be sexy and tease everyone (big turn on for him!) but if someone is disrespectful he goes into protection mode. lol NOT a good thing for business! It is the main reason most husbands and boyfriends are banned from the club the girl works at. Luckily my club lets you stay until you give them a reason to ban you. So far my hubby has behaved himself!

Don't forget that dancers get hit on and asked out a dozen times a day. If you ask her out on the first day you meet (even if you think you have hit it off really well) the answer will almost always be no. Many dancers (at least in my club) will never date a guy that gets private dances (something I never understood).

So I guess the moral of the story is to be cautious when considering dating a dancer. It is a very very different world in there!

Types of Ladies in a Club

This is always an interesting topic of conversation because there are so many degrees of ladies in each club. I have narrowed certain behavior types into some basic categories (Katagories?,) but there are more. Some sexy girls are just fantastic...others leave much to be desired, but all make money to some degree or another. A lot of these can be translated into webcam girls too. The striptease is not all that different from one venue to the next. Some of them cross over too.

Happy Girls: These are usually the girls next door and natural exhibitionists. they are ladies that love what they do and make others around them feel good in general. These girls are generally (though not always) quite intelligent and relaxed. They have nothing to prove because they know who they are and genuinely like themselves and their clients. Touch-Me-Nots: Depending on the club there are different rules regarding contact. Depending or her attitude she will respond nicely (saying in a sexy manner: no no no you naughty bad boy) or not (yelling: I told you not to touch me you fucking asshole). The ladies with the latter attitude tend to make no money at all and blame all the "sluts" that allow contact for the reason they are not making any cash. This is not the reason they are not making money. I have seen many Touch-me-nots make just as much money as everyone else, but they do it with a smile and a sexy sensual way of making the boys behave themselves.

Ms. Money: The first words out of these girl's mouths are "Want to buy a dance (buy me a drink, buy a ticket)". If a gentleman declines the next words are usually "What the hell are you here for then?" or "What are you gay?". This doesn't go over well. These ladies generally look like Pamela Anderson or a barbie doll and think they can get by on nothing but their looks so they do not develop personality. They make a LOT of money when they first come to a club because there are many guys that just take one look and go for it. Soon though their incomes tend to slack off and they move on because they get very few regulars. Regulars like sexy girls that want to hang out with them for them...or at least fake it. and not just for their money.

The Seagulls: How many times have I told guys "Don't feed the seagulls!". These ladies are generally not bad people but they will constantly go on and on about how they are not making money, have to make money or their electricity will be turned off, can't pay rent etc. There is no seduction here, no intimacy, simply nothing erotic at all. They are usually supporting a drug habit and have an air of desperation about them. Clients will sometimes get a dance either to make them go away or because they feel sorry for them, but when they hear the same story of no money over and over they tire rapidly and want the next girl. The thing is that you have now given her money and she will be back over and over and over no matter how many times you shoo her away!

The Guilty: Many of the guilty are also seagulls as well. These ladies will sit with a gentleman for at least a half hour and not mention a dance. Then she will ask for one and if the guy refuses she will say "but I wasted all this time talking to you, you have to get a dance from me now". Never mind that the guy didn't ask her to talk to him for all that time. So now he feels obligated to get the dance and the nice guys will do it just to shut her up. These girls will not get regulars either because the same guy will not be happy if she sits with him again and will make an excuse for her to go away.

Mine Mine Mine: This is a phenomenon that ALL the above ladies can be guilty of. Once a girl lands a regular customer that guy is off limits to everyone else. She will be nasty to other girls that talk to him and she will insinuate herself to the client so he is convinced he should not talk to others. This girl usually keeps to herself and doesn't want to get to know the other ladies. What she doesn't realize is that the most common reason a guy is at the strip club in the first place is because he is looking for variety. If he wanted a girlfriend or a wife he would be at home with one. After 4-5 months the girl usually loses this regular because he realizes he is putting up with all the crap of a relationship but without the benefits of having real sex!

I always get asked this question regarding my stage shows vs VIP dances at the strip club. It isn't an easy question as there are aspects about both that are just great. A striptease on stage can be fantastic especially when you have a dancer that actually dances instead of just walks around. I love the fact I can pick my own tunes, and I try to get the audience involved as much as possible by threatening to shoot my panties at them, make fun of a guy that looks bored and get em all hooting and hollering. It's fun to spot the difference between the young eager horn dogs in Pervert's Row from the more reserved, generally older voyeurs seated in that dark corner across the room.

On the other hand, an intimate striptease in the VIP lounge also has it's allure. Everything is up-close and one on one... More like a private video chat cam show.
