After staying in Ocean City, Maryland in October and being floored by a unexpected Cruisin' I couldn't face another car photo for a while But after some recuperation I am going to start sharing our car photos again.

The first two cars were seen at a gas station before Ocean City and we talked with the guys and found out what we were going to see once in Ocean City. I am familiar, though never experienced, the Detroit Cruisin', but there is a lot of noise with these old cars showing off.

The Deck Bar at the Chincoteague Inn is one of only a few places on the island to get a good lunch at a decent price. It has large old windows that can be opened up by a hook and often are. Seagulls like to sit on post (in the water) waiting for a possible handout. A couple of boat slips are adjacent and there is an occasional boat that will pull up, people get off and come in for a meal and a drink. Good old fashioned fun. We really like the genuine atmosphere.

Signs are everywhere and the second photo is just an example of the off beat humor of this place.

1931 Ford Model A hot rod as seen on Meade Ave, Charlottesville, VA

Beer Run in Belmont, Charlottesville, VA. We ate lunch there. The draft and bottled beer selection is enormous. The lunch menu was inviting and more than met our expectations. This, surprisingly, was our first time there and is definitely on our to do again list.
