Tales of Ivy and Lucy

Claire!

2013-07-03T22:56:00.001-05:00

This is Omi and Opa's cat Claire. I have known her since she was a kitty. But I don't see her often so she forgets who I am and forgets that I love her. I got to have a sleepover with Omi last night. We stayed up super late, Opa bought me a real guitar, and Claire finally remembered me this morning. It was a super fun sleepover!

summer fun!

summer drawing

2013-06-14T17:02:00.001-05:00

I've been creating art this summer.

Mommy and I did portraits of each other. This the one she did of me and we love it.

The one on the left is the one I did of Mommy.

When I first started drawing Lucy she said, "Wow!" Then she said, "Wait! I need lipstick". After a while she got mad and said, "I don't have a mustache!" She thought I drew a mustache on her and she was mad at me.

I was inspired to get my easel out and draw portraits after watching a bunch of Mr. Rogers one day. I love that guy.

So, here we are 7 and 3!

Here's some fun photos from last month!

My school had a festival.

We tried out wearing curlers

By the end of 1st grade I have only lost 2 teeth and one is growing in really fast.

She likes to wear tutus.

Lucy likes to wear things that make her feel like Angelina Ballernia. She likes to watch that show a lot. She even watched Mommy do something today and said, "That's brilliant." Which is something Angelina would say.

My mom was a little sad that my desk is so messy.
