I would normally wait until Friday ..but it's a Christmas deal I couldnt hold out on :) Garden Ridge are already having a Christmas tree sale. Last year I bought my first tree with the help of a great friend of mine and found that the longer I waited to get mine, the more expensive they got.  Anywho, I bought most of my tree decor at Garden Ridge while they were cheap.. here is a

This morning I went to the mail box and I received a $7 rebate from Rite Aid and I also have $10 that I got last week...heehee.. In addition, I bought some items from Rite Aid this morning, which will give me a $2 rebate check in a few weeks, but I won't count that in today's total. So my total as of today is $117.89...woohoo!!  Its a slow progress, but I am getting further then where I was

Today, I would like to try something very simple...I had a very very busy weekend and I am just starting to recuperate. I came across this meal by Frugal Fun and Fortune , it sounds very interesting. As a part of my better eating habits, I am trying to eat less meat. So at least one day a week, I will be making one meatless meal. What a better way then to start with black bean and corn

I am studying the book of Matthew and this time reading it with more intent. More accurately reading it to really understand. "Man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God" (Mat 4:4) And with that said.. I won't survive this walk with the Lord if I only taste His word, but I must also chew, swallow and digest His word. I implore you to do the same. It is

Alexis Suitcase This store is literally down the road from my house and it has yet to disappoint.  A few weeks ago they had this promotion:n "Everything you can get into a plastic bag was yours for $15". But it had to be off the clearance rack. I bought 2 skirts, 2 tops, 1 dress and a pair of Guess shoes.  This is not your average consignment store,
