Cebu Pacific Flight Attendants Dancing to Katy Perry and Lady Gaga Music

2010-10-02T08:48:00.000-07:00

I saw this video awhile ago through a post in Facebook, mainly discussing the undeniably irresistible promotional video made by Cebu Pacific to entertain its customers in the cabin and, at the same time, to allow the customers to learn the emergency procedures to the music of Lady Gaga and Katy Perry. Currently, the video has gained 1.8 million viewers and apparently, it's receiving concise, significant recognition from various viewers across the globe.

Well, what's can we say? Filipinos are becoming more and more innovative today. :) Kudos Cebu Pacific!

Britney Spears/ Brittany Episode on Glee, September 28, 2010

2010-09-28T19:56:00.000-07:00

The Britney Spears Episode is anticipated to air today.

Pop Star Spears herself will be doing a cameo role in the episode along with some of her chart-topping hits like “…Baby One More Time” and “Toxic,” and she says, “Working on Glee was an amazing experience.”

Check out this cool video of some of Glee's main cast talking about Britney and the new episode.

In the Britney/Brittany episode, Mr. Schuester (Matthew Morrison) insists that the glee club perform adult contemporary music at the school assembly, but the kids have other plans.

As New Directions mounts its campaign to perform Britney Spears’ greatest hits, they learn that their own Brittany (Heather Morris pictured above with Ms. Spears) has a connection to the famous performer. Meanwhile, Will meets Emma’s (Jayma Mays) new love interest, Dr. Carl (John Stamos), who sparks a rivalry between the two men as they vie for her attention.

Glee airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on Fox.

Actress Romina Yan Dies, 36

2010-09-28T19:34:00.000-07:00

Actress Romina Yankelevich De Giaccomi, better known as Romina Yan, at the age of 36, (Bella y Bestia, Casi Angeles) has passed away due to a heart attack. She was at home when she began to feel ill. Her friend drove her to the emergency room, where they attempted to revive her for fifty minutes until she was declared dead.

An Argentine actress, it can be remembered that she debuted in television programme Jugate Conmigo, followed by internatonally successful series Chiquititas, created by her mother Cris Morena.

Her last main acts happened in year 2009 which include the series Casi Angeles, and the film Horizontal/Vertical.

My sincerest thoughts and prayers go to her family. For sure, she will be missed a lot.

Panahon Ko 'To! Ang Game Show ng Buhay Ko!

2010-06-29T04:45:00.000-07:00

I'm really so excited to watch ABS-CBN's new game show! You know, you would soonly realize that eight or so years ago, you were not the only kid who usually reserved your free time just to watch Anime series like Ghostfighter, Flame of Recca, Monster Rancher, Pokemon, Digimon, Blink, Remy, Power Rangers, Teacher Nube, Doraemon and many more. Remember the times when every kid in town was totally addicted to jolens/ holens, pogs, racecars, beyblades, rubber bands (lastiko), puzzles, and other items being sold in and out of the school premises? I recall how Flames started and what made Jologs a hit at that time (or probably who, at that time, was the most baduy celebrity of all, lol).

Panahon Ko 'To! Ang Game Show ng Buhay Ko! is hosted by Billy Crawford and Luis Manzano

Now that ABS-CBN has come up with this new show, catering to the fun , memorable side of innocence, the company has once and for all proved to everyone how creative, workaholic and efficient its production teams are just to bring out the best programs to the Filipino public worldwide. I can't wait to watch the show's pilot episode! This will surely be a big hit!

Proudly Pinoy, I will definitely say that Panahon Ko 'To! Ang Game Show ng Buhay Ko! will achieve high ratings in its pilot episode. People have been talking about it nowadays.

The PBB Teen Clash of 2010 Big Winner is James Reid!

2010-06-26T09:01:00.000-07:00

The Pinoy Big Brother Teen Clash of 2010 Big Winner is James!

The official percentage count of votes are as follows:

James Reid – Big Winner (roughly 179, 272 votes or 19.75%)
Ryan Bang – 2nd big placer with Php 500,000. (about 169, 741 votes or 18.7%)
Fretzie Bercede – 3rd Teen big placer with Php 300,000 (145, 176 votes or 15.99%)
Devon Seron – 4th Teen big placer with Php 200,000 (142, 876 votes or 15.74%)
Ivan Dorschner – 5th big placer with Php 100,000 (137, 402 votes or 15 14%)
Bret Jackson – 6th big placer with Php 100,000. (133, 239 votes or 14.68%)

The PBB Teen Clash Big Winner will be handed the grand prize of 46″ Sony LCD, Asian Tour, Crystal Clear franchise, Condo unit, Php1M.

The total tally of votes in this season's Big Night seems to be a bit frustrating as only approximately, by extrapolation, 907,706 votes have been cast to end up the Big Unite. The public's support seems to be less indulgent. Probably, the appeal of the whole reality TV show has drastically cooled down in terms of mass viewing.

For the meantime, let us altogether take a closer look at James Reid's folio for the last time. Maybe this time we'll realize how he got to earn the highest place in the reality show. I created a very short comment below. Do read it if you're interested. Thanks!

Nickname: James

Status: In House

Real Name: Robert James Reid

Origin: Australia

Age: No Answer

Birthdate: May 11

Nationality: Half-Australian, Half-Filipino

Occupation: No Answer

Civil Status: Single

Religion: No Answer

Hobbies: Swimming, Music, Going to the beach

Favorite Color: No Answer

Favorite Food: Sinigang

Favorite Show: No Answer

Favorite Actor: No Answer

Favorite Actress: No Answer

Favorite Singer: No Answer

Character Profile:

Kapag kinakailangan n’yang magsalita in public, nagkakaroon s’ya ng mental block at di makapagsalita.

Reaction:
Alas, the public has spoken. They have chosen James as the Pinoy Big Brother Teen Clash of 2010 Big Winner. I think that he will be added to the long roster of talents being honed and tended by Star Magic, considering the fact that everyone agrees he possesses the looks, talents and charisma. I wonder how he would be able to get along with all the other celebrities, mentioning the idea that if he will be accepting an offer from the famed talent agency, he would have to mingle with people outside the Big Brother House, and with the enormous, tricky world of hypocrisy, luxury and envy. Will fans all over the country embrace him more? Will he accept the challenge of becoming ABS-CBN's new talent, if this happens? Or will James Reid just lie low and steer away from the noise of show business?

My Top 10 TV Shows: May 26 - April 2, 2010

2010-05-02T09:37:00.000-07:00

Enough with the surveys. It's now time that I feature myself, I mean, my top favorite local shows for last week's local airtime. Among the three biggest tv networks, I decided to pick the best shows which contained enough quality and KSP material to grab my attention and to brighten up my days as well.

I judge the shows subjectively. I'm not a Kapamilya, Kapuso or Kashake(?). Usually, my mind craves for these shows whenever I feel like I have nothing to do for that period. Rankings change every week so keep updated.

My Criteria:
30% - Personal Impact
10% - Viewership from TV Ratings
30% - Daily Content
30% - Filipino Values Exposed

Rank 10: Face to Face (TV-5)
Rank 9: Banana Split Daily Servings (ABS-CBN)
Rank 8: The Last Prince (GMA-7)
Rank 7: Agua Bendita (ABS-CBN)
Rank 6: 24 Oras (GMA-7) / Rubi (ABS-CBN)
Rank 5: Talentadong Pinoy (TV-5)
Rank 4: PBB Teen Clash of 2010 (ABS-CBN)
Rank 3: TV Patrol World (ABS-CBN)
Rank 2: Pilipinas Got Talent (ABS-CBN)
Rank 1: Showtime (ABS-CBN)

Well, let's just dwell on the prevailing thought that Showtime is the most entertaining and value-rich show for this week. Haha, it really evokes Filipino pride. I feel incomplete whenever I miss it. Lol.

Top 10 Reason Why Jejemons Exist

2010-04-25T21:34:00.000-07:00

There could be an infinite number of reasons why a lot of normal people want to apply as Jejebusters, and their main issue is on how they can control the contagious spread of the Jeje-fever. The summer season, together with the Jejemon invasion, or maybe vice versa (?) has been continuously bothering Filipinos' minds causing an outrage attack on the Jejemon species.

Listed below are TEN main reasons why the Jeje-industry remained intact:

1. Pika-pi, Pikachuu! - Gs2 q p0wH~ sIlA mSHocK SA aKin Kpg mY Bg0 aqng w0rd~ NA~ NaiimBEN2 P0WH.~ JEjE

We want to reveal to the world who we want to be. And because of this, all the other Jejemons came out too. Isn't it great?

3. Clefairy! Clefairy! - WiSh q P0wH KZ NA CUTe UnG pGk2sB~ q KHIT D Aq cuTe~ SA 22ONg bUHaY huHU ~ ~

6. Toge-pi, Toge - KHIT~ mLIIT My mAibuBUGa diN Po P0Wh. d niYO LnG ALam, mTATALin0h~ DIN kmi P0WH.

Translation: Kahit maliit may maibubuga din po. Hindi niyo lang alam, matatalino din kami.

7. Gloom, gloom! - gs2 p0wh~ NMINg Mg-exPlaIN loLZ!~ pKingGn Niyo KMI lolz!

Translation: Gusto po naming mag-explain! Pakinggan niyo kami!

8. Psy-duckkk! - SUMskiT P0Wh ULO nMiN dAhiL Sa siNsB nIYo~ P0wh.~ D P0WH~ KMI RetArD~ l0LZ!

I really had a hard time trying to convert their sayings into the Jejemon style, but good thing I found the Jologs-inator. To thos who missed and wanted to hear Pokemons (not Jejemons), just click Pokemon Sound Bites. I firmly believe that our state-of-the-art equipments cannot stop Jejemons from populating, and I can say that living in harmony with them means having the worst days of your life. But, it's funny how we try to look down on OUR silly countrymen and bury them deep to nonexistence.

Somehoew, these Jejemons have served as living examples of how texting and other forms of communication manage to destroy languages and yield new, awful sets of synanym or should I say spelling fail. Ajejeje!

David Archuleta Spotted at Gay Club

2010-04-25T04:21:00.000-07:00

Last April 17, a Saturday, David Archuleta was spotted at Club 57, a popular gay club in New York City, USA. So, what was he actually doing there? Did he have something to reveal?

Well, the answer to the second question is yes. Archuleta tweeted that he was there in full support of Filipino singing sensation Charice Pempengco. At the club, the 17-year old international songster performed her current hit single, “Pyramid”, and diva-struck “I Will Survive”. Charice’s mom, Raquel, confirmed that Archuleta did not sing.

Since his visit to that club, gay rumors have pursued the American Idol 2nd runner up. Archuleta explained his side by saying that he received an invitation the night before the show to go and see Charice’s performance. It can be recalled that Charice met Archuleta when she attended the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade (New York) last November 2008. He continued by coming up with a new revelation, that he should “always ask where before you go! Wasn’t my kind of place lol, and I had no clue! I guess you live and learn.”

However, the positive thing he got was that he’s able to watch Charice rock the floor. He continued,”…and she has an incredible voice. Hope that clears things up! Been seeing some of the tweets.. sheesh! Can get crazy quick. NO worries all, I wouldn’t get into things like that intentionally haha. Hope you guys have a good Sunday!"

Charice later apologized to him after the rumors gunned back again. Archuleta accepted her sincerest apology. "Charice is great and she didn't mean to cause any harm haha. She apologized a lot after. She's way nice lol," he further exposed.

After reading this article, can you say that his reasons really buy? Let me hear your side, post your comments.

Righta after the break, Toni reveals the name of the third nominee to be saved, Tricia. Eventually, "Magpasalamat ka sa taong bayan ngayon dahil binigyan ka ng pagkakataong manatili sa bahay ni Kuya, because you are safe tonight. That's right, Angelo."

The 1st official evictee is Potz. It can be remembered that Maichel was automatically put up for eviction due to violations he committed such as introducing himself when he was supposed to do a task and also, the improper use of the lapel microphone and shower times.

Here is the official percentage listing of votes:

5.52% - Potz

15.16% - Angelo

16.63% - Patrick

21.20% - Eslove

41.48% - Tricia

The battle for popularity and wealth begins, as supporters pump in more votes upon approach to Cutoff Time hoping that they could still save their bets and change the course of eviction. Will the public continuously support Tricia? Who among the teen housemates will fill the list of nominees in tomorrow's 2nd PBB Teen Clash of 2010 Nomination Night? Watch out for updates.
