This one went off th rails pretty early on w/r/t its intended topic and never got back on, fully. Went ahead and annotated this one, since it's a Saturday a.m. & I'm ill & industrious, and idle hands are th devil's playthings. My initial idea was to encourage discussion bout how beauty can be this world's most powerful idea -- that, Helen aside, human people are launching 1,000 ships every hour on behalf of their versions of beauty -- that, @ core, most fights can be reduced to incompatible visions of what beautiful means and what ugly means. it's me and my main doge Billy Ray Stupendous, coming to you almost live from New Orleans, where th air, th magick, and th booty all run thick, and thunder and lightning are full-time jobs. Today's topic of conversation is evil, in th Dungeons & Dragons sense. How do we taxonomize it (and its opposite) ? In what contexts is it visible or invisible ?
