matemáticas forman parte de nuestra vida cotidiana. Generalmente las usamos de
manera inconsciente y no le damos el valor que merecen. Una de esas áreas de
nuestra vida donde la incluimos a cada momento, es la cocina.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;"><span face=""Arial","sans-serif"" lang="ES" style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 107%;">En
la práctica de esta actividad es imprescindible que manejemos los conceptos
básicos de la matemática para poder preparar con éxito una receta.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;"><span face=""Arial","sans-serif"" lang="ES" style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 107%;">La
matemática está involucrada directamente con la cocina, en todas sus fases:
desde la planificación de la receta que vamos a realizar, el presupuesto que se
gastará en los ingredientes, la compra de los ingredientes, la medida de cada
ingrediente necesario. Si vamos a hacer algún ajuste según la cantidad de
porciones que queremos y la preparación de dicha receta. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;"><span face=""Arial","sans-serif"" lang="ES" style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 107%;"><span> </span>En
la preparación de recetas, obligatoriamente llevamos a cabo operaciones básicas
de la matemática como sumar, restar, multiplicar, dividir, fracciones, medidas
y sus respectivas conversiones, además que ayuda a desarrollar el pensamiento
lógico-matemático a través de la solución de problemas, pues, en muchas
ocasiones debemos ajustar las recetas para poder preparar las porciones
deseadas.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;"></p><ul><li><span face=""Arial","sans-serif"" lang="ES" style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 107%;">Por ejemplo, al calcular el
presupuesto aproximado que vamos a gastar en los ingredientes, sumamos los
precios de cada uno de ellos. Cuando nos van a dar el vuelto luego de haber
realizado la compra, realizamos una resta.</span></li></ul><ul><li><span face=""Arial","sans-serif"" lang="ES" style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 107%;">Si la receta que aparece en Internet
sirve para preparar solo 2 porciones y necesito preparar 10, se realiza una
multiplicación y por el contrario, si la receta familiar sirve para realizar 8
porciones pero solo queremos preparar 2, debemos dividir los ingredientes que

la pedagogía de la matemática, se ejercita el pensamiento lógico- matemático,
lo que les ayuda a comprender y agilizar la resolución de problemas tanto
matemáticos como de la vida cotidiana.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;"><span face=""Arial","sans-serif"" lang="ES" style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 107%;"><span> </span>Por
otra parte, también se trabaja con medidas y fracciones. Así que, dependiendo
de la receta, puede expresarse en tazas, cucharadas, gramos, mililitros, entre
otros, según indique. Por ejemplo: ½ taza de harina de trigo (media taza de
harina de trigo) o 1 lt. de leche (1 litro de leche).<o:p></o:p></span></p>

vez conocidos los beneficios que pueden obtenerse con estas actividades, niños,

a los jóvenes en las actividades del hogar, y aumentar su autoestima, lo que lo

la cocina como la matemática, forman parte de nuestras vidas desde tiempos
inmemoriales. Estas dos disciplinas, con el pasar del tiempo han sufrido
múltiples cambios, sin embargo es importante acotar, que la matemática no
siempre estuvo tan involucrada como ahora, en los alimentos que ingerían los humanos,
debido a que al principio de los tiempos no se cocinaba. El hombre primitivo,
se alimentaba de cualquier fruto que encontraba en el camino. No fue sino
tiempo después, que al observar otros animales cazando sus presas para
alimentarse, que nuestros antepasados se convirtieron en carnívoros.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

descubrieron que podían sazonar la comida. A las frutas las lavaban en agua de
playa para quitar la tierra y fue así como descubrieron las diferentes mezclas
de sabores<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>que se pueden conseguir al mezclar
alimentos con agua salada y con algunas hierbas. Con el pasar del tiempo, el
ser humano descubrió el fuego, y procedieron a cocinar las carnes, pescados y
frutos que obtenían de la naturaleza.<o:p></o:p><p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;"><span face=""Arial","sans-serif"" lang="ES" style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 107%;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Al igual que la evolución de la sociedad
humana, la cocina también lo hizo. Esto se debe a que se descubrieron nuevos
alimentos, nuevas herramientas para cocinar y otras formas de conservar la
comida. La alimentación dejó de verse como una necesidad y pasó a ser un festín
de sabores. Los romanos realizaban fiestas solo para honrar la comida, por lo
que permanecían en constante búsqueda de nuevos animales, hierbas y bebidas
para así poder realizar mezclas poco usuales y darle un buen gusto al paladar.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;"><span face=""Arial","sans-serif"" lang="ES" style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 107%;">Según
los libros de la época, en el año 90 a.c. existió un hombre llamado “Apicius”,
quien se dedicaba a escribir libros de la buena vida y excelentes comidas.
Exigía a los cocineros comidas sofisticadas. En vista de sus exigencias, fue en
esta época cuando apareció el primer condimento a base de tripas de pescado. A
este señor se le atribuye la creación del primer libro de cocina titulado “de
re coquinaria” donde explicó algunas recetas, que estaban clasificadas en aves,
carnes y verduras.</span></p><p></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;"><span face=""Arial","sans-serif"" lang="ES" style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 107%;"><span> </span>De
esta manera, la matemática ya comienza a observarse en las recetas que se
plasmaron en los libros de esa época, debido a que para que una receta
resultara exitosa, debe cumplir rigurosamente con las medidas indicadas en ella.
Si una medida no se cumple al momento de estar realizando la preparación de la
comida, como por ejemplo la cantidad de harina o el tiempo de cocción,
probablemente esta quede diferente a lo establecido en la receta.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;"><span face=""Arial","sans-serif"" lang="ES" style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 107%;"><span> </span>En
fin, las recetas son simples fórmulas que nos ayudan a preparar deliciosas
comidas,<a name="_GoBack"></a> si seguimos las instrucciones al pie de la
letra. No se recomienda llevar a cabo recetas haciendo un cálculo aproximado de
lo que puede llevar la preparación que tanto quiero hacer, porque esto puede
representar una gran pérdida de dinero. Es preferible investigar la receta y
