We have a blessing for you… This is our version of a blessing found in Leviticus 6:24-26
The Lord adores you and mightily protects you; The Lord’s pleasure is glorious upon you and is gracious toward you; The Lord brings His pleasure upon you and gives you His Peace!

My Hope is that you will trust in the King of kings and Lord of lords and receive all the blessings God has for His children!

Out of the Wilderness & into God’s Promise: Feast of Tabernacles

Are you going through a “dry” season where blessing seems to escape you? I just passed through one myself and I speak from experience that God has more for His children. I will share how knowing the Feast of Tabernacles can give you hope and courage to take hold of blessing!

This year we celebrated the Feast of Tabernacles with a focus on having the courage to move out of the wilderness and into the Promised Land (God’s purpose & blessing). Joshua needed courage to face the hurdles of gaining possession of the Promise. As you will see, this Feast pictures for us how we too can live a heroic and blessed life if we trust God and lean into His Holy Spirit for the power to gain all our inheritance.

I refer to a lot of different areas of the Bible, so here are a few locations you can find these truths and inspiration in your own study:

Call to Unity: Yom Kippur

God is all about Unity! Unity with Him and unity with each other. You may not know that God assigned one of the Holiest days of the year to picture unity among those that love and follow Him …that’s how important it is!

Yom Kippur, also know as the Day of Atonement, was a requirement for the Jewish People to celebrate. We may think that because we aren’t Jewish or the Temple is no longer standing… or because Jesus made the full sacrifice for once for all, that it is irrelevant, but you would very wrong. God, in His mercy and creativity, hides deeper attributes of Himself in every Feast including this one and ALL Believers will be blessed by knowing this Feast and it’s qualities.

Jesus Returns with a Blast: Feast of Trumpets

Jesus is coming back…and when He does it’s going to be a blast! The Feast of Trumpets or Rosh Hashana gives us a little peek into what it will be like when Jesus takes His followers and returns to receive His throne.

I talk about why we should know this Feast as believers and tell you a little about this celebration, which my family observes each year.

How I got my kids to STOP LYING

Lying seems to come natural because naturally, who wants to pay for the consequences of our choices? It’s so important that we teach our kids to step out of the natural response and into an obedient response. Our kids should know that our correction is for their good and therefore, they will respect authority and live a blessed life.
We as parents need to step it up and knock out lying, Satan loves darkness, secrets and hiding and he’ll try to get our kids to practice just that- kick sin in the teeth & bring peace to your home!

I share how I’ve parented, and how I have been successful at balancing authority and friendship with my kids. If you use appropriate authority at the appropriate ages, you can have a good relationship with your kids as they get older. If you haven’t properly parented in the younger years, you’ll have to apologize and try setting up those boundaries that you missed along the way. It’s never too late!
