Check out the PacSafe RFID-Tec 200 RFID-Blocking Ticket Wallet.

This RFID-blocking ticket wallet combines fashion and function with its slim, sporty design. Available in light grey and yellow or dark grey and orange, it is the perfect wallet to carry as we approach springtime. However, in addition to being stylish, it also is designed to keep all of your important travel documents together, in one place.

One customer writes:

This wallet will be great for out-of-country travel. There are plenty of pockets for everything to be in one location for easy retrieval. Plus you have the added bonus of having your stuff protected with the RFID-blocking in place.

It features 13 credit card slots, a zippered pocket for cash and 2 slip-in pockets to keep its contents organized and readily available for easy retrieval.

Likewise, it allows users to travel with peace of mind knowing that their sensitive information is protected against high tech thieves. Old fashioned pickpockets are a thing of the past. RFID chips in credit cards and passports that hold your sensitive personal information makes you susceptible to identity theft every time you leave you home. Someone merely has to walk close enough to you to be able to retrieve your information using a portable scanner they have concealed on them.

Jet lag occurs when people travel rapidly from east to west or west to east. It is actually a physiological condition that upsets the body’s circadian rhythms. While jet lag is unpleasant, it does tend to be more painful for those who are traveling from the west.

One way you can reduce the symptoms of jet lag is to immediately begin living according to the time zone you are traveling to, as soon as you set foot on the plane. However, if this requires you to go to sleep extraordinarily early, this can be challenging for many.

Try using a sleep aid with melatonin, such as Relaxzen, an all natural sleep aid. The Relaxzen Night Flight Beverage contains all natural ingredients to fight anxiety. And the health conscious needn’t worry, as it contains zero calories.
GABA

Chamomile Extract

Consider getting a stainless steel wallet.

Not only are the stainless steel wallets from Stewart Stand more interesting than your traditional leather wallet, they actually serve a dual purpose: protecting your wallet by blocking RFID waves. RFID chips are now placed in most credit cards and all new passports. These chips commonly hold all of your sensitive personal information, including first and last name, credit card number and expiration date. A tech-savvy thief could easily access this information and create a new credit card using blank credit card stock and your information. If the man in your life travels on a regular basis, this is a great way to get a gift that will keep his identity safe and secure.

In addition to being ideal for protecting against identity theft, however, stainless steel wallets offer a fun, contemporary take on the traditional wallet. You might think the stainless steel would be hard on the pocket of your jeans; however, these wallets have the texture of silk. Woven from micro fibers of steel, you will be surprised by how silky smooth they are to the touch. Available as both a bi-fold and tri-fold, you will be able to find a style that meets the preferences and style of the recipient.

If you travel regularly, you probably have a list of regular go-to items that you pack in your carry-on luggage. However, are you always careful to bring along all of the medications you might need?

Whether you are going to need a sleeping pill to get you through a long flight to Europe or a patch to enable you to avoid seasickness on a cruise around Cape Horn, medications should always be on the list of must-haves that you include when you are packing your carry-on. Keep in mind if you are starting new medications that some medications can have serious side effects and you should probably consult with your doctor.

Deep vein thrombosis. Deep vein thrombosis (DVT) is also commonly referred to as economy-class syndrome and is a serious and potentially fatal condition where blood clots develop in the leg. It’s most common on lengthy flights where passengers sit for long periods of time and movement is restricted. The best way to prevent it is to drink a lot of water and move as much as possible, standing and stretching regularly. You may also want to talk to your doctor about taking blood-thinning medication like aspirin.

Motion Sickness

Depending on your sensitivity to motion, you may experience motion sickness only when cruising on rough seas, or you may become nauseated each time a plane leaves the ground. Motion sickness is caused by irregular and abnormal motion that disturbs the organs of balance that are located in your inner ear. The most common remedies are Dramamine and Bonine. Speak to your doctor if you suffer from motion sickness.

Sleeping Medication

If you’re going to be on a long flight, you may want to consider medication or a supplement to help you get sleep and wake up rested when you reach your destination. Many travelers take Ambien for its ability to induce sleep without leaving the groggy effects of many sleeping pills. You may want to consider melatonin, a hormone that occurs naturally in the body, to help you to fall asleep. Melatonin is also useful in helping you overcome jet lag.

Traveler’s Tummy

You never know what stomach problems are going to hit you when you are traveling and eating food from the airport. It’s a good idea to keep an over-the-counter medication to calm your stomach just in case.

There is a solution to this dilemma, however: Tugo Luggage Drink Holder.

The Tugo is amazingly simple travel tool for people on the move. Fortunately, there are steps you can take to make the process go a little more smoothly. Check out these five time-saving tips for getting through airport security more quickly.

Dress appropriately. Try to wear slip-on shoes that you can remove and put back on quickly. Also, avoid wearing lots of jewelry and clothing with lots of metal buckles and buttons. Remove your layers early in the security line and place them in your carry-on. Take the same approach with keys, phones and change to avoid the risk of those items being lost or stolen.

Pack smart. Make sure you’re familiar with all of the TSA regulations and that your toiletries are in a plastic bag in an outside pocket that you can remove quickly and easily to go through security.

Security friendly laptop bag. TSA is now allowing anyone carrying bags that meet “checkpoint friendly” standards to leave laptops in their bags as they go through security. If you travel often, consider investing in a checkpoint friendly laptop bag.

Avoid peak travel times. Do your best to avoid peak airport times to allow you to get through security more quickly. Do be aware that there are certain times during the year that travel is always worse, such as during the holidays. While there are some days that are better traveling than others, during those times it’s best to prepare yourself for the headache that security can become.

Gifts. If you are traveling with gifts, make sure they are unwrapped, as security will likely require you to unwrap presents to be inspected, causing aggravation and delays.

However, there are steps you can to take to make your flight more comfortable for both yourself and your fellow passengers. Check out these do’s and don’ts from Independent Traveler for what you should and shouldn’t wear while flying.

Don’t wear: tight clothing. Do wear: natural, breathable clothing.

Airplane seating is a little smaller than your average chair, as you are well aware. You may find yourself having to climb over others getting in and out of a window seat or having to move through the airport quickly to catch your flight. The temperature in planes are also rarely comfortable – with temperatures usually varying between too hot or too cold. Select clothing that is loose-fitting with natural fibers to give skin breathing room. Layers are also important to accommodate unpredictable temperatures.

Don’t wear: high heels. Do wear: comfortable shoes.

High heels have caused numerous illnesses from hammer toe to chronic foot pain. While they may look attractive, you’ll regret them if you find yourself having to run to catch a flight during a short layover or trekking your way between distant gates. If you are planning on taking hiking boots on your trip, you may want to consider wearing them instead to save room in your luggage. (Packing organizers help as well.) Slip-on shoes are also a great option, since they can make it easy to get in and out of security.

Don’t wear: Perfume or cologne. Do wear: fresh, clean clothes.

In a cramped airplane cabin, even a small amount of cologne that has been applied can intensify, making your seatmate uncomfortable, especially if they suffer from asthma or allergies. It’s a good idea to go heavy on the deodorant and leave off the perfume altogether.

Don’t wear: offensive clothing. Do wear: anything that would be appropriate for church.

Airlines have the right to deny boarding to anyone who is wearing clothing that can be considered lews, obscene or patently offensive. It’s a good idea to steer clear of clothing that could raise eyebrows in a public setting.

After dropping bags off at baggage check, your bags will immediately need to go through security to be checked by TSA officials. Though this typically consists of sending your bags through airport security, there are occasions when TSA agents need to open your bag to inspect the contents. TSA locks are helpful on occasions such as this.

Protecting the contents of your bag with a regular luggage lock can result in your lock being cut off so your bag can be searched, which can possibly result in damage to your bag.

However, TSA approved luggage locks are an easy solution to the problem.

TSA has worked with several companies to create a universal standard of locks that allow passengers to lock their bags without interfering with the airport security. TSA officials are the only ones with keys, so you don’t have to worry about anyone gaining unauthorized access to your bag.

Gain peace of mind when you travel by investing in extremely-affordable TSA approved luggage locks.
