So I've already seen this episode of Glee and LOVED it, but I'm about to re-watch it, but thought 'hey let's make a blog out of it'. So here I am. I'll just commentate as I'm watching it!

-Dear lord what is Blaine wearing as trousers, and why does Kurt have a dead squirrel on his head?
-Wanna be startin' something - OMG Darren Criss, I love you even more when I hear you sing this song!
-Love that everyone is wearing a Micheal themed outfit... except Finn

-I just want to slap Rachel and say 'SAY YES TO FINN'S PROPOSAL!!!!!!'

-I am a Sebastian fan (♥ Grant Gustin), but when Kurt said 'Does he live here or something? Seriously, you are always here!' when Seb turned up, I died laughing.
-Love Santana more and more each episode, and LOVE her standing up for Kurt for a change!

-BAD!!! It's so cheesy, the whole dancing and thing, but I love the song!
-Is it bad I giggled as soon as the warblers when 'ba ba ba ba, dum' with the funny facial expressions :L
-Do Santana and Britney live in their Cheerio uniforms?
-The Warblers are badass, but I'm team New Directions! (ND)
-Blaine taking the slushie to the face for Kurt was so cute, but I wanted to hit Sebastian for doing it! And how can the Warblers just walk off and leave a former team mate on the floor in pain!!!!

-I was totally on Artie's side when he went off on Schuster!
-Scream is my FAVE Michael song so this was interesting; it wasn't terrible, but wasn't amazing :(
-Mike's vocals are def improving, loved the dancing!!
-Guyliner....

-Rachel and Quinn Conversation!!!
-LMFAO - 'Holy Crap are you pregnant?' hehe
-Quinn is smart beyond her years!
-Don't like the song that Quinn sings I'm afraid... but it was a good version!

-I love this paring!!

-Dislike the 'Ben' song... too slow for my liking.

-Anything she sings is EPIC and this was an amazing cover they both done!
-The cello players were a bit intense!
-He put salt in the slushie!! EVIL WARBLER BOY!!!!
-Why slushie Santana? Why?

-'Britney lock the door.' 'I don't know how to do that.' Britney FTW
-When Santana says 'underboob' I die of laughter inside! She said it with such a straight face!
-I like that Kurt tries to be civil about the situation.

-A Finn/Rachel duet. Sigh. They cut out a Warbler number that I love, and kept this. *shakes head*
-Okay so it's vital to the storyline.
-SPOILER: Okay so she finally said yes.... but only because she doesn't think she's going to NEYADA or anywhere else for her future. Selfish?
-Nice cover version of the song though.

-Warblers at McKinley?
-Cue epic song (my second fave MJ song) and love that the Warblers, but not Sebby, join in the dancing.
-I can't help loving Grant Gustin's 'smouldering look' throughout this scene!
-ND expose Seb as a baddie to his group and they don't look pleased!!

-Okay so Rachel has now got into NEYADA, but hasn't told Finn, and looks petrified about telling him... AS SHE ONLY SAID YES TO THE PROPOSAL AS SHE THOUGHT SHE WASN'T GETTING A PLACE!!!! I wanted to slap her, but the episode ended.

Side notes: Damien (Rory Flanaghan) didn't speak a word in this episode, only sung. The Warbler track that was cut was called 'I Want You Back'

Hey! Welcome to the second News and Views column! Every month I'll be talking about news, music and film/TV (shared section) stories that have caught my eye. There's even a section called 'other stuff' that is just random stuff happening with celebrities and sometimes even me. Hope you enjoy!

The News: So one of the biggest stories in the news this month so far has been the Costa Concordia cruise ship. On the 13th of January, just of the coast of Italy, the ship hit some rocks near the shoreline and began to sink. It is currently on it's side in the sea, and the missing person list is currently standing at 29 people, and so far there are 6 confirmed deaths. There are fears that the ship will slip from the rocks and fall the the bottom of the Mediterranean. The Captain is being accused of causing the incident as the ship was 4 miles off course when it happened - he was also one of the first off the ship.

My View: I feel so sorry for all those aboard, and I am disgusted that the Captain left the ship, way before many of his passengers. The Captain of the Titanic stayed and died on his ship, and this Captain chickened out and left, and a recent claim of his that I've just read made me want to hit him. He was quoted saying 'I tripped and fell into a Lifeboat'... SERIOUSLY!!!!!. I believe he is to blame for the accident, and just pray that all those who are still missing are found alive and well. I know the chances are very slim for that to happen now, considering it was a few days ago and half the ship is submerged on it's side. Let's just all hope that the remaining few missing are okay.

The News: Beyoncé has had her baby girl! She gave birth to a baby girl named Blue Ivy Carter, with her husband Jay-Z who was with her at the birth on January 7th. No photos have been released yet, but they were seen leaving the Hospital in two huge blackout window cars a few days after the birth.

My View: Oh the name. Blue Ivy. BLUE IVY!!! I love Bey and her music and she is a sort of role model of mine, but the name! It sounds like a Villain name from the Marvel comics!! I'm sure the baby is cute as hell, and the name is definitely unique and individual, but I don't like it.Good luck to them and their new arrival :)

The News: The Karshians. Yeah. Well I had to mention this as it's something that's irritated me. Khloe's dad, the late Robert Kardashian had two other ladies in his life after his divorce from Matriarch, Kris Jenner, and they've been spreading rumours! I don't know if any of these events have been filmed on the KUWTK programme, or Khloe & Lamar, or the other programmes they all have.. Anyway, the aforementioned women have said to the papers that Khloe is not Robert's biologial daughter and that even though he knew this, he raised her as his own. Khloe, Kris Jenner and the other Karsahians have all hit back at this saying it is false.

My View: Once again I apologise for using them as my TV news! I'm sorry, I'm a Kardashian Doll. Live with it. Anyway, I'm totally on Khloe's side! If you look at photos of her as a young girl and her father, you can see they share the same nose and facial structure, and her younger brother Rob is the same. Kourtney and Kim look alike, Khloe and Rob look alike. By saying Khloe is not biologically Roberts, you may as well say Rob isn't his as well! IT ANGERS ME!!! Like I said last month, Khloe is my fave of the family and I was annoyed that some fame hungry bitches would start doing that to her. Arrggh... anyway rant over. That was my view.

The News: The Wikipedia Blackout. A 24 hour protest online (Midnight EST, January 18th, where only a message opposing the SOPA and the PIPA (legislation being proposed in the USA Congress) was in place instead of all the Wiki articles. Other websites that joined in were: Failblog, Newsgrounds, Tumblr, TwitPic, and another 7000 websites globally.

My View: Oh dear! Do you know how stupid I was on the 18th? I'd forgotten all about it and chose to write this then. FAIL. So I did what I could, and am now doing the rest of the column with Wikipedia open in my browser bar. I'm from the UK, so I'm not quite sure what the SOPA/PIPA is and what the legislation was, but I know it stopped loads of people using valuable websites. But it was horrible having Wiki and a few other online sites blackout for the day. It was trending on Twitter for hours and even Facebook got a good look in on the topic! Google edited their homepage for the day. I don't know if the blackouts have helped, but I hope it did, as there will be uproar if it isn't.

Hey everyone! Sorry I've not posted an actual blog post in ages, but I've been so busy with work (it's virtually taken over my life) along with Christmas shopping, I've just not had the time :( I think the last blog was about NANOWRIMO.... then I never updated again! Also as you may have noticed I've been creating outfits on Polyvore.com so there will be quite a few post with my creations!

Well I never actually finished NANOWRIMO due to the same reasons as not doing a blog post! However I have a few spare minutes now for this one!! I had an idea the other day to do a monthly column on here called News and Views. Basically I'll be having a look at any news stories that catch my eye, along with and thing new happening in the world of entertainment, then giving my views on it. So keep and eye out for that, as there will be one either by the end of today or tomorrow! It may just be about things happening in the UK or Worldwide (all depending what happens!). If there is a lot going on in the media then I may do more than one each month!

NANOWRIMO!

Who's doing NANOWRIMO this year?

NANOWRIMO means: National Novel Writing Month. Last year I participated and completed the 50,000 word target 2 days early and with 50,842 words as my total. I was a WINNER!

So this year I thought I'd try again. I should have thought of an idea at least a week ago to start planning it, but I'm an idiot and forgot. That was until I woke up this morning, realised it's November first. The first day of 30 NANOWRIMO days, and I didn't have an idea to work with.

So for nearly 8 hours today, I tried to think of an idea. Alas three hours ago I decided to re-write my story from last year, starting from scratch as I wasn't happy with the final piece when I done it. So here I am, writing for two hours when I decided to see my word count and update this on the website. So you ask, how many words have I wrote in just over two hours? I'll tell you.

3280 words!

So yeah. This is what happens when I don't have an idea. The day target was 1667. Tomrrow's is 3333, so I'm only 53 words off of tomorrow's target! I'm feeling confident I'll complete this again this year. So yeah, join in if you haven't already!!

Observations at work

I work as a cashier on the tills of a Supermarket. I've been there for a while now and have noticed thins about how things run there, the customers and what happens when it's almost closing time. Here are some of my observations that I've picked up since working there.

Credit/Debit cards are EVIL. My till has continuously declined people's cards which causes the customer panic. Of course many of them blame me for not explaining how to do it properly even though it's the same procedure at my till as it is anywhere else.
People will 90% of the time say no to cashback off their debit cards, so half the time it is pointless asking them about it.
People like to pack their own bags and don't like your assistance. However there are the occasional few who let me/ask me to help.
Elderly people LOVE a chat.
Young couples (18-24 year olds) buying condoms/lubricants, get very embarrassed about purchasing said items and pack them faster than I can scan them. The 25-40 year olds wish to pack them ASAP, people over 41 don't care, they are clearly more mature about this product!
I have stopped many parent-child arguments. E.G - The kid has a small chocolate bar and want their own carrier bag, parent says no. I then give child small food bag for item. Child happy, parent thankful.
Alcohol is the bane of my life. I hate ID-ing people, but I have to for law reasons and some bottles come with electronic tags which need to be removed on a little gizzmo that hates me.
SAVER STAMPS!!! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR. Yes you've asked for them and yes every single one of my colleges and I forget to give them to you. We're sorry.
Children above the age of 7 will put their sweets/toys at the front of their parents shopping so they get it quicker and try pushing the item forward so I scan it faster.
Some people will ignore your greeting of 'hello/hi/morning/afternoon'. That's just how people are.
There are too many types of apple/pear for me to remember, so if there isn't a sticker I have to guess.

People who buy pig trotters from the butchers, I wince at even touching the packagaing on the food. Same for the fish in very thin bags. Ewwww. The fish still have heads *retches*
After 8pm on a Saturday when there aren't many customers, the staff will start the cleaning up and put-back process, while having some banter with one another. If we didn't we would have nothing to do for almost 2 hours before closing time. And I get to do the sweeping which I actually like doing :)
I can't lift potato sacks up, as I am very WEAK! Same goes for 24 cans of beer and large quantities of UHT milk.

So that's just a list of a few things I've noticed and have problems with since starting my job. As the next few months go by, I'm sure to have found some new things to tell you!

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2

Well I saw this film ages ago but never done a blog post on it. So here it is.

OMG IT WAS FREAKING EPIC AND AWESOME. And sad.

My childhood ended right there in the cinema in front of me. I cheered when Molly Weasley killed Bellatrix, I cried when Fred Weasley died. I laughed when Mcgonagall said 'BOOM!' to Neville. I punched the air when the bridge collapse with the Death Eaters on it.

In short; I loved it and already pre-ordered the DVD off of Amazon.

The book franchise was what made me want to read. Up until Harry Potter was unleashed into book shops, I'd only read Fantastic Mr Fox by Roald Dahl and then one day in 1999, my teacher at school read us this new book she'd found and loved called Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. It changed my life. Shortly after Harry's first Quidditch game in the book, my Mum had been forced by me to purchased Philosopher's Stone and Chamber of Secrets. Eager to get me into reading something other than a battered copy of Fantastic Mr Fox, she let me have them. By the time my teacher had finished reading the first book, I'd finished the second and had bought Prisoner of Azkaban the day before.

I was hooked.

My copy of Philosopher's Stone is very worn out, the spin in peeling and the books have a thinned bottom right corner from page turning. As each book was released I got it that very day or the next day at the latest. My Mum had to fight (not like punches and everything, but you get what I mean,) for the last copy of Deathly Hallows at our book shop and she won :D (GO MUM!) My friend Jackie finished it in under three days. It took me five as I had to stop to locate tissues after each person was killed of. I cried the most at Dobby and Fred's deaths and I loved Dobby from the first book and the twins are my favourite characters. My poor sister on the other hand suffered five days of not being able to read the book as I refused to share it, and me walking into her room in tears saying 'you're not going to like this bit,' and walking out again.

But seeing the last part of the film where Harry has his family with Ginny and Ron and Hermione were a family as well was just....wonderful. But once that scene ended I knew I wouldn't have the excitement of another film release date or seeing the trailers on TV anymore. It really was over.

I've been part of this Pottercoaster for 11 years now and still read the books over and over again and watch the films with my friend Jodie. She's never read the books but has seen the films, so it's always interesting to get a text from her saying, 'Why is he doing this? What does that mean!!!????' And being able to explain it to her in so much depth I'm sure I bore her to death with my explanations. Since reading the books, I've managed to take on the Twilight series (Potter is still far better) and currently on Lord of the Rings, (only on Two Towers after 2 months), and so many more.

Well I'm now back from Cornwall!

Each day I done a vlog and am currently uploading the second day. We generally had good weather and I actually came back with a tan, and a little sunburn, which compared to last year's horrid weather was really good!
We finally got home yesterday after a six hour drive and then Grandad showed up two hours later after he got stuck way behind us in traffic.

Thunder Storm!

So yesterday there was a nice ole thunder storm where I live. Considering the day before had been 33 degrees Celcious was a little weird. It did cool me down though - I don't do well in heat! But I managed to caputure the booming on video, but no lightening!

I also started work on Saturday. It went really well apart from a few technical problems with the tills and the touch screens, but I managed to complete a whole 8 hours without pissing off any customers. I did manay to cut myself of someone's shopping and pulled the muscles in my left shoulder so I could barely move. Hopefully it won't happen again this weekend as I'm working both days!

In other news: I FINISHED ALL MY EXAMS AND SCHOOL. FOREVER!!!

Good News and a Steam Rally

First I'll start with the good news: I GOT A JOB!! It's only part time to begin with, but YAY finally I have job! It's at my local Morrisons Supermarket as a cashier. I don't star until the end of next month, and I have an Induction day on the 18th June to do before I start, but still, WOW!

Steam Rally Stuff

Every year at a place called Sellindge in Kent, there is a steam rally where there is a gathering of trains, tractors, army cars, 4x4 cars, rides, food stalls and other entertainment. I hadn't been for about 8-9 years, but yesterday I went again! Thankfully it wasn't muddy like usual when we used to visit! It was actually sunny, and I have sunburn to prove that fact :)
We watched some dancers and the train/army car/4x4 show that was going on in the arena during the day, as well as walking around the stalls that were there along with a stunt man who drilled through his nose (ewwww). I got a lot of footage of the event, but narrowed it down for a vlog.

It was a really nice day out and then just as we went to leave, it poured hard. Evil weather!

Other stuff:

Saturday: I went to see the new Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides film with Tristan, his sister and brother-in-law. The film was really really good! I don't know what the critics were watching, but they can't have been watching this! They gave it really bad reviews, but we all thought it was amazing! The blonde mermaid we first see does look like Kristina Horner (sorry Kristina but it does!) The whole film was fab, but I did miss Keira and Orlando's presence! Then we went out for a Chinese which was yummy and got the giggles at the table behind us!

Today: I had been out of bed for like an hour and mum had put the washing out. Nice and sunny. The out of now where, rain and hail stones fell from the sky so we had to rush outside (I was still in my PJ's) to save the clothes from getting wetter than they already were. I was freezing and soaked when I got back inside! Urgh.
Now it's sunny again!! Grr. Just scratched my arm. OUCH, caught the sunburn when I done it :(
