Holy crud, it has been quite a long time since I have made a post on this site. Well, not much art-ing has happened since then so I guess it is pretty predictable. In any case this is one of the newest collaborations between Larry Higbee and myself. If you look back two posts you can see the W.I.P. version before the silhouette was added.

That is all for now, but with school ending in just a few days I will be back to painting up a storm!

All three of the above backgrounds are ready for Larry Higbee to do his magic. The top one, when finished, will be the new focal point in our living room above the mantle. I can't wait to see how they all turn out!

I took these just the other night

This is Mace. He is cute.

This is the door to my work. This is pretty much how I feel when I walk in.

This is Larry. He is my bestest friend.

At my old high school, helping my brother paint his parking spot.

At work. Sitting in the wing working an Indian music/dance concert.

All of these photos were taken using the Retro Camera app on my Droid. I find it a pretty amusing app, I have taken a few photos on my legit camera in the past few weeks and will be posting them in the next day or so.

Four Current WIPs

2010-08-17T20:42:00.000-07:00

This is a photo of a few of my current works for my roomie/bestie and my collaborative painting series. It is called Neon Black and is a combination of my abstract style and love of neon and Larry's macabre silhouettes. We currently have over ten in the series and are always working on new ones. This is a link to my deviant art page which has many of them as well as much of my past works... thelurkingmerchant
