Our loving Michigan weather! Also sitting here watching Jainden (who was suppose to be with mom this weekend) so that puts a little creative planning about to happen! hmmm...more on that later.

I would like to write more but the babe needs my attention! dang it! I'm not suppose to be raising little ones, just being a "honey" is my thing.

Day 1 of experimenting with my Blog

I think this just might be fun! Not to sure on what to write yet but that's okay. I actually feel preppy (is that a word?) (guess that doesn't matter as it is my blog!) hmmm....what to write....maybe my interest? probably a good place to start, although anyone who may read this already knows, but what the heck, I will write about it anyway...here goes....

I absolutely Love my (and yours) God. He is the only father I have ever known and what a Father he is!!! He is mandatory to have in your life, especially if you have a past that hurts. Whether the hurt is caused by others or yourself, it doesn't matter. Let him into your heart and into your everyday life and you will be able to cope with anything thrown at you, I promise!!! because he promises!!

My second love? my hubby...nope he is not a perfect man but he is the only man that has ever had the patients to accept me for who I am, even with all of my baggage (and there is a lot of weight in these bags). I believe that we are formed as a person by all of our experiences since birth. Later I will give some testament of myself but that is way to heavy for an opening page. My husband Frank A. Martin is my true "Knight and Shining Armour" without him, I know I would not be where I am today! and I am at a wonderful place now! I give much thanks to God for my hubby!

My third love? my girls...I am the proudest mom ever! My girls may not be scholars, they won't be a scientist that finds cures for any kind of human suffering, and I'm sure they won't be President (at least not of the United States)...but let me tell you how wonderful they are!!!! My daughters, Yvonne, Lori and Sandra are the best people in the world! These are three beautiful women that you do want on your side! They make me so proud because of their compassion for people and life. Who would have thought that I would have raised intelligent, beautiful, kind, and compassionate people! I really can not even put into words at this time how extremely proud I am of them (but I will!) I tried so hard to break a cycle of dysfunction, and even though they may not be able to let go of some bad parenting skills I had (which was not much skill at all) they have no idea how much different their lives would have been if I didn't try to break the cycle's.

My next love? Renee, Stephanie and Frankie. No I didn't raise them however they are a big part of my life and I love to brag about them (like I had a part of any of their decisions in life) They also are loving and beautiful people and my hat goes off to Frank and Joan for a job well done! They only prove that "beaver cleaver like families" (this statement is a joke between Frank and I) raise great kids. I pretend to have a big part in their life choices and who they are as people. I love them like my own and I see my hubby in them when we talk or spend time together. (more on them also, later)

Then of course we have "little missy" The one that rules the Martin household today, Rochelle. We are extremely blessed to have her in our life. She also will be talked about later as I could dedicate a whole blog just about her!

next? I have to put them fifth on my list so that no one gets funny but let me tell you all about my real loves!!!
After God, my grandkids are the best, the most fabulous, they are the candy shell on m&m's. They keep me grounded and make my life so worth living! I can not get enough of them! and I truly have the best grandchildren in the world! They make me smile just thinking about them! and I can't wait to tell you about them all, individually! I just Love them!

Can you tell that I have the best family? not yet? well give it time and check back in and you will learn to love them like your own by the time I'm done talking about them! Till next time, stay warm and remember to pray for your neighbors as well as your family!
