7 of Cups - Prediction Tarot

A couple of weeks ago, the cover from the broadband dongle disappeared.  It was beside my laptop, as always, and when I came to put it back on, I couldn’t find it anywhere.  I blamed Stephen and Stephen blamed me for its disappearance.  I’m kind of getting used to things going walkabout in here, it’s nothing new.

Last night I decided to go out.  I ran a bath, got in and what have you.  When I came back into the bedroom, there, on top of my laptop keyboard, smack bang in the middle, was the missing cover.  It wasn’t there before I went in the bath!  There could be no explanation for it.  I was alone in the flat, the cats were locked in the living room (They are not allowed in the bedroom without a human being present because Myrun (our grey cat), chews cables, and Heidi (the black and white one), lies on top of my laptop).  The only other explanation would have to be Spirit playing games with me.

Another strange thing I noticed.  I went out last night and stayed out all night.  I always turn my laptop off if I’m leaving it for an extended period like that.  When I got back home this evening, the laptop was on.  Who could have done that?  Again, the cats were not in the room as the bedroom door was shut.  The laptop was actually off, not in sleep mode, yet was running when I got in tonight.

I have a strong sense of a friend with me.  He has been with me for quite some time now.  He committed suicide about 8 years ago.  I’m wondering if it’s him playing these games. lol

Today should be a good day for making your point.  It’s a good day for communication, although try not to be too aggressive with it, telling people where to get off. lol  On the other hand, if you seem to be all talk and no action, then get out there and DO IT!  Don’t just talk about it.  Take the bull by the horns.  Express your opinion if needed and use good solid reasoning and logical arguments to win someone over.

If this card represents a situation, then expect Saturday to pick up pace with loads of activity and maybe even short trips out of town involved.  Great day for conferences, workshops and other gatherings where communication is key.

Another aspect of this one is excitement and energy.  Take some time out to do things you have been putting off for a while because you didn’t have the time or energy to do so.  Saturday should be a good day for getting things done.

It’s funny that this card should come up after the previous card (History from the Fallen Angel Oracle), as the book description for this one also talks of romance and putting the fizz back into a relationship that has become routine.  Maybe Saturday would be a good time to spend with a loved one.  Do things you enjoy, but try to spend time with them alone so you can become better acquainted.

I have been thinking of spreads to use for general readings for a while now, and dreamt this one up last night.  I woke up and scribbled it on a piece of paper, until I got up this morning and drew it up in Publisher.

Today, I have drawn two cards from the Morgan Greer deck to find out what is in store for me this summer.

Card 1: Positive Influences

For the positive influences, I’ve drawn the 10 of Wands.

Although the 10 of Wands is usually about burdens and taking too much on, I feel that I can see a positive side to it here.  There will be a lot of opportunities coming my way, also influenced by the negativity of the new beginnings with the  Ace of Swords.  However, I think the trick here is to watch what I’m doing.  Try not to take on too much or I’ll burn myself out.  This could also indicate lots of work opportunities, although there is a lack of Pentacles to back this up where finances are concerned.  It could simply mean I will be doing lots of things I enjoy doing, but not necessarily for financial gain.

The card in the position of Challenges is the Ace of Swords.

This card talks of sweeping changes and disruptions, but out of any chaos, there could be something positive coming through.  The hypochondriac within me wants to talk about possible medical problems here, but I am trying my damn hardest to think positive!  Whatever it is, it is going to be pretty dramatic this summer.
