Monsters Ink: Free Tattoo Raffle

Yes that's right, free tattoos. Here's how it works. Each artist here at Monster will create a design that excites them artistically. For some of us it might be a painting, for others it might just be a line drawing, but regardless of what the medium is, it will undoubtedly be a fine piece of art that gets our juices flowing. You can buy a raffle and take your chances as to what artist does your piece, or you can buy a raffle for any specific artist. We will draw the tickets at the end of November, and the tattoos will be done in the beginning of December. Keep checking back as we will post our designs as we complete them.

Here at Tattooed Heart Studios we have just finished uploading a ton of new tattoo photos from Markuss Decker. Mark has been working really hard on some intense tattoo projects recently so here is just a sample. This update includes a lot of crazy tattoos! Mark's highly detailed bio-mechanical stylings, a suicidal rag doll, skulls, lots of colorful flowers, a cannibalistic ice cream cone, and much more ill shit. The fall seasons are upon us and winter is just around the corner. Along with this New England change, some personal undertakings of my own are in effect. My last day tattooing at Off The Map Tattoo will be on Friday November 13!!! Please come check out my art show which will be held at Off The Map on the 14th. No plans have been made as of yet just where I'll be heading, but I'm definitely looking forward to taking a little time off from being in the studio and guest spotting around the country. This weekend Mary from TattooNOW will be sharing a booth with our good friends and amazing tattoo artists Jeff Gogue and Oleg Turyanskiy from Russia! She'll have information to pass out on getting your own high traffic website developed by TattooNOW, along with some marketing materials for one of our newest launches, Guy Aitchison's TattooEducation.com. If you've ever had questions on getting your own tattoo artist, tattoo shop or tattoo convention site up and running make sure you catch her while she has time to chat! We're always busy bee's at our offices, so believe it or not, sometimes tattoo conventions are down time for us, and a good chance to get a solid chunk of our time for a one on one consultation. The Strom Refinery/ uptown tattoo: Show with Jeff Gogue

So I'm beginning my journey of painting for the year to do a split show with the illustrious Jeff Gogue. He paints about a hundred times faster than I do so I have a lot of work to do. The show is slated for September 11th, 2010 at Off the Map Tattoo in Easthampton, Massachusetts. I'm hoping that this show will be a milestone for both of us as artists and for the art world as well. If you're not sure who Jeff is, you should check out his work at www.jeffgogue.com. Unbelievable stuff. I will be putting some sneak peeks of each painting as I'm working on them but that's all you'll get. These pieces will be under wraps until the show. So, mark your calendars and figure out a way to get out there. It'll be worth it. Tom
