Tavern Cat Build 7 was released last week to the play store. We have fixed the graphics flicker on the sprites, using react native fast image also upgraded to EXPO SDK 43. The apps has a significantly smaller footprint because we are using the production EXPO EAS build.

Release 4. SDK regrade and removed the flashing screen touch feedback.

Tavern Cat 1.0.4 is released to google play, removed the touch screen, screen flash that everyone seemed to hate. Also updated the framework it is built on to Expo SDK 42. If your Android Phone Table is set to automatically upgrade apps, this should upgrade on your device today, otherwise, go to google play, search for "Tavern Cat", and press update.

Tavern Cat - Overfast gameplay fixed - Now out on Google Play

Tavern Cat 1.0.2 is released to google play, fixing the overfast gameplay, and updating the framework it is built on to Expo SDK 40. Technical: Expo build, seems to not set the timeout in setTimeout correctly. Upgraded to Expo SDK 40, didn't help, but we are including the new SDK 40 version. Switching to setTimeout, and adding a new timeout after the sprites have moved, worked on an APK. Building version 1.0.2, with SDK 40, a human playable framerate, 25 fps. Then uploading to google play. The first build took, 5 days for google to review and release, so expect it at the weekend.

Tavern Cat became available on the google play store, here. Or Search "Tavern Cat". Made the promised Feb release date by one day. Here is how it appears on the store.

We welcome feedback. Questions we be grateful for your to answer. How do you like the view ads for life policy? Is flash the screen to provide touch feedback, good or annoying, i like it, brother hates it. Too hard, or too easy?

Playtesting finished, Release Process Started

We are pleased to announce Tavern Cat completed play testing. We then switched the advert model to Admob Reward Ads, giving the play life (50) for every Ad viewed. We are now starting the release process with a build. Followed by an Upload to Google Play.

Tavern cat is nearing completion, we just added catching the mice, and the rooms being locked until 10 caught. We added music, with a play/stop button, in case you don't like it, and updated the in game tips. Screenshot from 7 inch tablet. Just about to improve the look of our main website.

Hi to update you on our work, we have just completed the 64 rooms, background, and successfully logged it into our game code, and can display it on the phone. Next steps, cat and mouse graphics and marking the tiles as hard or soft.

Welcome after our work on Virii Attack We started a new game, tendatively names Tavern Cat. We have acquired rights to a map artwork, and cut it into tiles, using GIMP add ons OFN Tiles and OFN export Layers. We have drawn our first room, in Tiled, and are designing the map, watch this space for progress.
