Christmas in the Philippines, one of two predominantly Catholic countries in Asia, is one of the biggest holidays in the archipelago.

Behind all the glitz of the event, one cannot help but wonder – who is behind all this?

The PBA Commissioner? PNOY? Manny Pacquiao?

After college, he joined a national competition of Procter & Gamble and got his scholarship at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School. Young as he was, he was already wa-is.

After college, he worked for 6 years in a local company, then decided to be an Overseas Filipino Worker in Hong Kong. He worked so hard and smart in his companies abroad that he managed to take the business to the $5 billion mark.

After 22 long years away from home, he came back. And the rest is history – PLDT, TV5, Smart, Talk N’ Text, San Beda College, Cignal Digital TV, First Pacific Tollways, and the MRT.
