Are you fed-up with waiting until you actually do your tax return to know if you will owe money or if you will be getting a refund? Perhaps you have an urgent situation approaching that will require you to come up with more money than you know you will have on hand; and you are beginning to get anxious about how the heck you will find that chunk of cash. The answer to your forthcoming money problem may be tax refund loans.

You can find out ahead of time if you will be getting a tax refund, what your potential tax refund will be and whether or not getting a refund loan will be a viable solution for you. The fastest and easiest way to find out is by using an online tax refund estimator.

Calculating Your Federal Tax Return & Tax Refund Loan In Advance

Consider using one of the free tax refund calculators where you can . By using an online tax return calculator like this your effort will not be wasted if you determine that getting a tax refund loan is not a solution for you. You will have the option to go ahead and submit your return or you can choose to abandon it in favor of meeting with a professional tax preparation service that also offers tax refund loans.

Important Refund Loan Terms & Conditions

Basically you have 2 options when it comes to leveraging your anticipated tax refund and returning cash to your pocket.

1. For a true tax refund loan you must use the services of a tax preparation service that also offers refund loans as part of their portfolio of services; there are no exceptions to this condition as far as I know.

2. You can opt for a refund loan alternative such as a cash advance. If you choose to this route, just efile your tax return online yourself so that your anticipated refund will become processed ASAP by the IRS. You will need your refund promptly to repay your advance. Then go to our tax refund loans alternative page to apply for your loan.

Not only is this tax return estimator free, your information is saved and you can use or refer to it at any time whether you decide to efile your return or not. Depending on your situation, you can estimate your tax return and calculate your expected tax refund in about 10 minutes or less.

Since using the tax refund estimator will only take a few minutes, it is well worth the effort.

You will know the value of this as soon you see the tax return estimator go to work. All you have to do is enter your income, deductions and filing status to get a free tax return estimate.

This year, when you’re ready to start your Federal taxes and State Taxes, think about using an online income tax calculator . You’ll love seeing your refund amount and it may bring you the financial relief you seek. The calculator will even make suggestions for tax deductions you’ve missed, which potentially means more cash back into your pocket!

With an instructional and easy to follow step by step process you enter your information as you go, such as marital status, income, and deductions. Soon you will see the tax return calculator go to work estimating your refund as you enter your income and deduction information.

After your taxes have been calculated, it’s time for a review. If you’ve missed a deduction, you can enter it in and put the calculator to work again.

From time to time we may have an emergency where we need access to cash to address a specific need or requirement that has reared it’s ugly head. Some of us are great at putting a little savings aside, always ready for just such an eventuality. Most of us though are pretty much living from one pay check to another, are not good savers and most of the time have little in the way of extra cash to handle urgent additional financial expenses.

Here are three quick ways to acquire cash when you desperately need it:

1.) <a title="Tax Refund Advance" href"http://www.TaxRefundAdvanceCash.com/">Tax refund advance, if it is tax season and you anticipate money coming back in the form of a IRS refund you can get it within about 24 hours in the form of a refund advance for a nominal fee from a professional tax preparation service company. A tax advance is a great way to borrow if you have a refund coming and its tax time.

2.) A 401K Loan, 401k have tax penalties to deter early withdrawals, however they also have a temporary loan feature, so if you need short term funds at a low interest rate you can borrow from your retirement plan.

3.) Cash advance on a credit card, unfortunately for many of us we do not have any credit left, all our cards are maxed out, plus often the interest rates can be prohibitive.

Filing your taxes for the first time on your own may seem like a scary process for most taxpayers. You are probably young and your parents have filed for you throughout your whole life so far. Through your parents you have filed as a dependent. Obviously, that is not much experience to draw from.

However, now you are now a responsible young adult and you probably have a job that makes you proud. Despite the change, filing tax returns on your own does not have to be intimidating or such a scary thing.

The first thing you need to know is that April 15 is the big deadline for filing your income tax return with the IRS. Your taxes have to be in by that day, or they will be late. A simple postmark will due for paper returns or the electronic time record if you file your return electronically or efile for short.

You need to know that your taxes do not include the information from April to April, but from January to December. So for the current tax filing year, you will include the all the financial details from the January before last through the previous December. For example: if today the year was 2020, you would be filing a tax return in 2020 for the last complete full year of 2019.

This means that if you want to maximize your deductions for a given tax year, you will need to plan, prepare and do things before December 31st, the cut-off each year. A good person to talk to about payroll deductions is your employer. An accountant is best for everything related to taxes and accounting. If your one of the very few who have earned or come into a large amount of money you may need the services of a CPA and/or tax attorney.

Online tax preparation software such as TurboTax simplifies the creation and efiling of federal and state tax returns. TurboTax is paved with step by step instructions, calculators and just about anything and everything needed to make efiling a tax return easy for taxpayers. TurboTax literally walks you through the entire process in simple uncomplicated organized steps. Whether this is your first time filing tax returns or you are a seasoned old timer, TurboTax comes highly recommended and makes simple work of efiling tax returns.

Your employer will know, and may have all of the tax forms on hand that you need. If not you can pick them up at most United States Postal Service offices (the USPS), the post office. You may also need some forms from employers you worked for previously in the tax year you are filing returns for.

The W2 forms and 1099 forms should sound familiar to you. One or the other or perhaps even both are forms that you will likely need.

One of the many deductions you can receive comes from giving or making charitable donations. If you donated money to a good tax deductible cause throughout the previous year, you will be able to include it in your taxes. It is a good idea to visit the IRS website as they have many tips posted about recent tax changes and about how certain types of deductions will affect your overall tax payment.

They also have several services that can make filing your taxes much easier. Some of these applications are even free.

Then, you will want to request a copy of last year’s tax return from your parents so that you can see how they did it, as long as they did it correctly of course.

Keep in mind that you probably make less than your parents. This means that you will fall into a different tax bracket.

Tax brackets are of different levels of incomes and each level of income is required to pay a predetermined amount of taxes on a percentage basis. Most likely you will fall into the 28 percent or lower bracket, but your state’s tax bracket may be different.

Filing can be challenging if you have no idea what you are doing. Often there are many tax help classes available in many communities which you can attend and get free help.

However, if you have an accounting friend, or even another friend who has filed taxes before, they may be able to help you. You can also hire a tax professional to help you with your taxes if you have enough money.

If you decide to hire a tax professional, be sure to get some references for good ones that charge a decent price from your family and friends. You can also research tax professionals in your area online.

Jackson Hewitt, H&R Block and Liberty Tax Service are three of the largest national tax service firms. However, a tax help software program like TurboTax may be enough to get you through the process of filling out your own taxes painlessly.

The IRS website has some software programs like this for free on their website as long as you fall into lower tax brackets or file simple returns. If you choose to hire a tax professional you will want to check to make sure that they have the right credentials.

They will be looking at private information and if they uses it wrong it could severely hurt you. Be sure that you agree with their price and that you feel like you can trust them as well.

If you have your own job, you should be putting away some money for retirement. The money you put into a 401K up to a certain amount is deductible from your taxes.

This can make a significant difference in your taxes. These tips can help you get started, but be sure to get help if you need it.

Also you may want to keep in mind that if you have a refund coming back you may qualify for a “refund loan“.

The IRS website has a wealth of information about this year’s taxes as well as pages with frequently asked questions. Do not hesitate to get the help you need now, rather than later when the IRS comes knocking because you accidentally did your taxes wrong.

But no worries, there is no law against being a bad bookkeeper or making legit errors; although it may cost you a financial penalty.

Refund loans offered by tax preparation services look attractive to many a taxpayer who prefer not to have a check arrive from the federal government. Refund loan carry steep fees which make for a high interest for any rate for taxpayers that expect to receive a large chunk of the money back from the IRS; which the tax service and lender get a big piece of for providing the refund loan.

Two advocacy nonprofit groups that have studied the refund loans – the Consumer Federation of America in Washington, DC, and the National Consumer Law Center in Boston – concluded in a recent report that the application for refund anticipation loans cost 12 million taxpayers an estimated $1 billion in loan fees in year 2004. In my opinion these groups tend to inflate the numbers.

They never went into details of how much taxpayers were charged for these loans, but they claim some probably paid close to $400 for the refund loan. The amount included the preparation of a federal tax return also. In my opinion that not so bad considering I recently paid $250 just to have my taxes done by an accountant and I did not even take out a loan of my refund of $2300.

Some say the average refund is a few thousand dollars, so if someone paid $400 to get their money now including the tax preparation service compared to in a few weeks, the interest on this loan is high yes, but if you really need it to pay rent or fix your car so you can get to work that is not so bad!

Personally, I think consumers should be the judge of the value of what they spend their money on, and that includes “refund loans“.

With recent changes at the IRS having to do with making reports available to accountants and financial institutions about a taxpayers status with regard to delinquent federal taxes, child support and other related information, the infamous tax refund loans, also known as tax refund advances, have become harder to find and qualification requirements are elevated, but they still exist.

For those of you who cannot meet the new qualification requirements for these refund loans or for those who cannot efile their returns immediately with the assistance of a tax service that offer refund loans, there is an alternative method of obtaining immediate financial help.

My suggestion would be to take a look at payday loans in lieu of getting a RAL, another acronym for tax refund loan.

Getting an advance from one of the payday lenders is probably the easiest loan to get that you will ever apply for.

They are available online whereas tax refund loans are not and you do not need good credit or any credit at all for that matter to be approved for one.

If you need money and you need it now and are unable to do right now what it takes to get a true tax refund advance then you should seriously consider the refund loan substitute offered by payday lenders where you can find how to search about 100 direct lenders for payday loans.

Getting your tax return prepared ASAP with a tax preparation service that offers refund advances (refund anticipation loans) is still your best option to obtain “refund loans“.

No matter what you decide about getting a refund loan you really can’t loose by getting your tax return into the IRS as soon as possible.

Amended Federal Returns: You did good and submitted your taxes by April 15th. But you think you’ve overlooked something big, or you did not remember to make use of certain deductions. Don’t panic; it isn’t too late to remedy your mistakes with amended federal tax returns when you submit your taxes.

Amended Income Tax Return: When You Must File One
Use IRS Form 1040X, Amended U.S. Individual Income Tax Return, to fix any errors on your taxes. When you submit taxes, amended federal returns can help with federal tax return errors. From the Internal Revenue Service, the following are 5 reasons why you will need to submit amended returns. Not all tax return errors will require an amended return:

If You Failed to Report Your Full Income:
You need to report every cent you earn to the Internal Revenue Service. This includes money made from selling your business, doing work as an independent contractor, or working a side job.

If You Claimed Credits or Deductions That You Shouldn’t Have:
Now is the time to make amends if you’ve started to worry about your bold tax deductions or credits. Bear in mind that excessive credits and your chance deductions are suspicious and can put you at an increased risk for an audit. You could end up paying more rather than getting a tax refund.

Owners of Small Businesses, Be Careful:
Small businesses and the self-employed are supposedly the leading contributors to the massive tax gap. The IRS aims to close the gap, and they are attacking small business owners with a vengeance. They’ve promised to bump up the number of audits, so if you have made any Tax Return errors, be certain to make use of Amended Federal Tax Returns to correct them.

Tax Refund Advance

Did You Fail to Take Advantage of Credits or Deductions That You Had Been Eligible for?
There are many new deductions and tax credits to make use of to earn a refund. Don’t hesitate to submit an amended tax return if you failed to claim any of these new opportunities, it’s something like getting a tax refund cash advance. Just make sure you double check with a tax expert to make sure you are eligible.

Do You Need to Amend Your Filing Status?
Amending with a more accurate filing status is relatively easy.

Vital Note:
Did you file jointly with your spouse, but wish to modify it to Married Filing Separately? If you’ve already submitted your taxes by the due date, it’s too late to do that. As an exception, an executor might have the ability to change this in situations of a spouse who has passed on.

If You Qualify for the First-Time Home Buyers Credit:
If you bought a home in 2008, 2009, or 2010, you might be eligible for the First-Time Homebuyers Credit.

The IRS Service Center will, under some circumstances, correct tax return errors for you. Do not submit an amended return if you made one of the below mistakes.

Simple Arithmetic Errors:
The Internal Revenue Service may correct mathematical mistakes made on your income tax return, according to the government website.

Forms and Schedules Forgotten:
The Internal Revenue Service may take returns with schedules or forms left out. Watch for correspondence from the Internal Revenue Service seeking information rather than filing an Amended Tax Return.

Using IRS Amended Returns to Correct Tax Return Errors

File an amended return using Form 1040x
A brief description of your corrections may be asked for.
The instructions for Form 1040x list the addresses for the Service Centers

Last year, like for many other people I know, the year was very difficult for me financially. I had just graduated from college and was enjoying the start of my new job. Unfortunately, I didn’t know that in December, my new employer would fire me and my source of income would be gone. I had to begin finding odd jobs and anything I could. I didn’t find anything more permanent for two months. Once a found a job, it was great. Now I had another problem to deal with; how was I going to pay my state taxes? Although I only owed a small amount, I had to dip into my savings and nearly ran out of money. It is hard for someone who lives alone, has no other financial support and is paying the bills by himself.

At this point, I had barely had just enough money to pay my taxes. The good news was that I was expected to get a fairly high tax refund for my status; the bad news however was until I got my tax refund, it would really be hard for me to pay my bills on time and I was afraid to go into debt.

So after a little thought I decided to go to a tax professional about what I should do. He began to discuss with me a type of “advance“, something I had yet to hear of: the tax refund advance, which is also known as a RAL.

I heard this and began to learn what it was. Essentially, these tax refund advances are given to people such as me based on how much I earned and the amount of overpaid taxes I anticipate receiving back from the IRS. Once my actual refund was issued by the IRS, the bank would then use it to pay back my tax refund advance. At first I was concerned about the whole process: what would happen if I did not get the refund? And how long would it take to get the tax refund loan? On the other hand, I also needed it badly otherwise I wouldn’t be able to pay the rent.

So I took out the refund advance and I was approved for the tax loan within the same day.

The IRS sent back my refund and that paid back my advance. If I did not get that loan in February, I probably would be on the street now and my life would have been much harder now. I am now debt free and thanks to the help of my tax preparation service, I do not need to worry about my finances for the future.

Getting your overpayment of federal taxes back is not rocket science, and anyone who is actually owed a refund by the taxman will be repaid if he does everything right just by following the IRS tax return rules and instructions. From experience, some people have developed the habit of ignoring the application for Tax-Refund-Loans, an ‘Advance‘ against your pending refund, when filing their tax return with the excuse that the amount is regularly very little and is actually of no importance.

Advances And Tax Refund Loans

Although I agree with the fact that the amount of money that comes from the taxman is not really enough to enable you buy your own house, I believe that in most cases, it is more than what people actually ask for when they seek-out an “Advance“, and it is able to help them a great deal in balancing their budget from time to time. For you to get some more cash than you normally do, it is advisable to apply for the refund in the proper way and claim all deductions, exemptions, tax credits and rebates to which you are entitled. Doing so may also enable you to apply for a larger tax refund loan.

Submit Your Returns Early To Reduce Any Potential Penalties

- Keep good records of your spending, especially when it comes to tax deductible items.
- Remember to Claim Your Business Expenses.
- When Possible Avoid Tax Refund Loans.

To best enjoy the maximum amount of money that you will get from the taxman, avoid getting loans from lenders counting on you paying them back with the amount of money that you will receive in the form of your pending tax refund. This is because you may end up receiving less money than you estimated because of the cost to “advance” the tax refund; something that can turn out to your disadvantage or a huge problem if for some reason the IRS denies your refund because of various reasons such as; you own back taxes, delinquent child or spousal support, or penalties. If you make an effort of putting our tips into practice, you can be sure that you will enjoy the maximum amount of money that comes back to you when you work hard for the biggest refund that you are entitled to.

These are words that all taxpayers hope to hear, yes, you’re receiving an income tax refund. For many individual taxpayers those refunds can be attained through Earned Income credit, a real refund of overpayment of tax, or through an overpayment from previous years. Once you conclude you’re receiving a refund, there are several options for actually putting that money in the taxpayer’s hands. Standard paper filing, electronic filing with direct deposit, rapid refunds, and refund anticipation loans are the options we have the choice of exercising, and for many refund anticipating individuals, the rapid refund, the refund anticipation loan or Tax Refund Loans are the refund of choice. Refund loans against your tax return are a type of “ADVANCE“.

Advancement Of Tax Refunds

Since the dawn of the computer age, and the great information revolution spawned by the internet, the Internal Revenue Service has been fairly rapid to react to the benefit of electronic or e-filing. The IRS returns are filed much faster, refunds are made faster, and money due the IRS can be obtained faster for a rapid refund. Let’s take a minute to look at the different refund options, and what each offers individual tax payers. The standard paper filing, though many are more familiar with this method of filing, is slowing and nearly obsolete. There will soon come a time that the old system of paper filing will be entirely eliminated and replaced by the electronic filing system.

E-filing combined with tax refund loans, are rapidly replacing the standard paper filing. E-filing is an electronic method used for filing your tax return, and allowing you to receive your refund in about 10-14 days. Much faster than the six weeks or more it used to take. There are usually no excess fees attached to this type of filing, and returns may be filed for free through many local, public access facilities. When you file your through some professional tax preparation companies you may also be offered a tax refund loan, a type of “Advance” on your pending IRS refund.

The tax-refund-advance-loans, however, are a little more restricted than just e-filing your IRS return and then applying for an cash advance against your pending tax refund. Advances must be administered by a tax professional through an established relationship with a lender financial that provides refund advance anticipation loans. There are numerous tax service choices available, and many qualified tax professionals to assist you complete your tax return and oversee your application for the tax refund loan. You will however be required to pay a loan fee or a small interest fee for the prospect of obtaining the Advance. There are certain restrictions placed on receiving a tax-refund-advance, and some of the restrictions do affect a number of taxpayers who have overpaid their federal taxes and due a refund.

It seems to me that this is just another way for the system to profit from people in urgent need of money; and it is usually the poor that qualify for the earned income credit refunds, and these can be substantial for families with 2, 3 or more dependents.
