A nice description of what’s new via T-VOG from Bill White (NY1):
“A Revised 4491X is now on the IRS web site. It includes what was in the earlier version of the 4491X, plus added material. Some of the added material we already have in the Tax-Aide version that was dated 01-21-2013. Some material is new, including pen&ink changes to the 4012, comments for the 4491 dealing with unemployment compensation (some states no longer distribute 1099-G’s), comments for the 4491 dealing with Deducting Qualified Mortgage Insurance Premiums, a worksheet taken from the 8949 instructions for Column (g) basis adjustments, a 4012 page replacement for Residential Energy Credits, and an 4012 add-on for the chart on Education Credits giving info on Tuition & Fees Deduction.”
