Food Not Bombs

2011-03-16T00:28:00.015-05:00

"A nation that continues year after year to spend more money on military defense

than on programs of social uplift is approaching spiritual death."

Martin Luther King, Jr.

Food Not Bombs shares free vegan and vegetarian meals with the hungry
in over 1,000 cities around the world to protest war, poverty and the destruction of the environment.

With over a billion people going hungry each day how can we spend another dollar on war?

Americans discard over 40 percent of the food that is produced. 1,400 calories worth of food is discarded per person each day, which adds up to 150 trillion calories a year. The United Nations reported in 2010 that all one billion people that go hungry could be fed by the food that is wasted every day.

For more information on feeding the homeless check out their website here - http://www.foodnotbombs.net/

Pain

2011-03-15T22:30:00.000-05:00

"People are afraid of themselves, of their own reality; their feelings most of all. People talk about how great love is, but that’s bullshit. Love hurts. Feelings are disturbing. People are taught that pain is evil and dangerous. How can they deal with love if they’re afraid to feel? Pain is meant to wake us up. People try to hide their pain. But they’re wrong. Pain is something to carry, like a radio. You feel your strength in the experience of pain. It’s all in how you carry it. That’s what matters. Pain is a feeling. Your feelings are a part of you. Your own reality. If you feel ashamed of them, and hide them, you’re letting society destroy your reality. You should stand up for your right to feel your pain."
-Jim Morrison

President? Donald Trump

2011-03-15T15:34:00.000-05:00

Donald Trump, one of the greatest businessmen in the world, says by June 2011 he will decide whether he will run for president or not. Below I posted a video of him speaking on CPAC about what he would do as president and the reasons why he would become president.

In my opinion, I feel Trump would make a very successful president and he knows exactly how to get us out of this mess because as a businessman. He has had to deal with hundreds of situations and battles where his knowledge of money and spending have come into play, and he has won. He also recognizes that America isn't respected by other countries anymore and that he would gain back out respect.

Check out the video below to see what Trump has to say on his possible run for presidency and tell me what you think on my Facebook. If you don't think Trump would make a good President, why?

NEW PROJECT

2011-03-15T01:11:00.000-05:00

Hola, so with the final touches on a script for my new film, I thought I may update you guys and let ya know what's up.

My blog is for my film project stuff, but also random things I find interesting.

But anyways, this new project is the biggest film I've worked on. I'm very excited for when it's finished and I can share it with all you. I'm going to start posting more videos on my blog to update you on random crap and the film as well.

So in the mean time, I'm trying to gain a wider audience, so with the release of the film, more people will know about it! So it would be greatly appreciated if you shared my blog on Facebook or Twitter (can do so with the button on the right hand side) or bookmark it, and keep checking back for behind the scene video and more!

Thanks!

Free Donuts!

2011-03-14T16:39:00.005-05:00

Well, there is a way to get free donuts, but only if you're not grossed out easily. Krispy Kreme always has tons of donuts left over at the end of the day. They don't sell them after a day, so they put all the donuts into a bag, tie it up, and throw it into the dumpster outback. Once they close, go back there and take the bag out of the dumpster and enjoy the free donuts! Yes, may seem a little gross but the donuts are in a bag by themselves. They aren't mixed in with the trash, so it's safe and they are clean. Enjoy!

15 Most Disturbing Films

2011-03-12T20:12:00.002-06:00

Antichrist

In Hollywood, it’s not hard to find a borderline snuff film that turns the stomach and loosens the sphincter. Some of the most disturbing movies ever made fall into that category. But there is another type of disturbing movie that may not shed even a drop of blood, yet shakes the audience to their cores by revealing uncomfortable truths, secret perversions, or a gleeful, careless violence in humanity as a whole. This latter category of movie may not even consist of “good”, “classic” or “cult” movies, but they nonetheless will leave you squirming awake at night.
