WhatsApp Inc., the mobile messaging service that agreed to be acquired last week by Facebook Inc. for $19 billion, said Monday that it would offer voice calling as early as April, allowing free phone calls among WhatsApp’s 465 million users. Jan Koum, the co-founder and chief executive of WhatsApp, also said during a speech at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona that he is hoping to grow the service to one or two billion users. Mr. Koum said that the WhatsApp voice product would “focus on simplicity” as it has with its text-based messaging service. He said that WhatsApp would first release a version of the voice service for Apple Inc.’s, iPhone and Google Inc.’s Android platforms, followed by services for Microsoft Corp.’s Windows Phone, as well as some phones by BlackBerry Ltd. and Nokia Corp.

“We want to continue to have that minimalistic approach to the product,” he said. “We at WhatsApp want to get out of the way and let people communicate.” Mr. Koum added that the voice product would “use the least amount of bandwidth, and we optimize the hell out of it.”

Speaking about the Facebook acquisition announcement earlier this month, Mr. Koum said that the product wouldn’t change, stressing that WhatsApp would remain independent. He cited Instagram’s example, after the acquisition of the photo-sharing service by Facebook.

Mr. Koum said that WhatsApp was likely valuable to Facebook because “we both want to make the world more connected,” though Mr. Koum stressed that WhatsApp wanted to know “as little as possible” about its users, including details such as a user’s name. “There are no plans to change anything that we do with the product today,” he said, using words like “minimalistic,” “utilitarian” and “uncluttered” to describe his philosophy.

Finally, Nokia has joined the Race of the Andriod Manufacturer, Believe this is a Great move from Nokia.. Nokia has evolved round almost all the Mobile OS from Java to Symbian to Meego to Windows and Finally to the World Leading and Widely used OS “Andriod”..

Nokia introduced a new family of smartphones, the Nokia X series of phones. The first three phones in the family – the Nokia X, X+ and XL – run on the new Nokia X software platform, that is based on Google’s Android.

The phones under the Nokia X family are not pure Android phones; these phones instead run a forked variant of Android, similar to the way Amazon does for its Kindle Fire lineup. Nokia has taken the open-source elements of Android and has pulled in other elements of Asha and Windows Phone to offer users a different experience.

The downside here is that Nokia X users can’t have access to the Google Play Store for apps. However, the phone will run Android apps, but Nokia will curate a list of such apps. A recommended source for the apps is the Nokia store, says the company. In other words, the new platform, Nokia X, is based on the Android Open Source project (AOSP).

Features such as the Play Store belonging to Google are not included in these phones as they maintain Microsoft’s own services, including Here Maps, and the Bing search engine.

As far as hardware goes, these phones aren’t comparatively impressive. The X and X+ each have a 4-inch WVGA display (800 x 480), a 1GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of storage, microSD support, a 5MP camera and a 1500mAh battery.

The X+ differentiates itself in that it offers more storage and more memory. The XL appears to have similar stats as the X+, including the 5-megapixel camera and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera, except that it has a larger 5-inch WVGA IPS display (resolution not available yet).

Looking at the software, most people would probably have a hard time telling it’s Android. That’s because it’s not really Android, but more of a forked version of the mobile operating system. It’s a lot like Amazon’s Kindle Fire devices—theres no visible Google or Android badging.

In fact, it appears that everything is going to hook into Nokia and Microsoft apps and services: Nokia’s stock apps and Android app store, and Microsoft’s cloud and search services. Nokia has also installed its Fastlane UI for quickly navigating between social networks and messages.

Eden Hazard has insisted that Chelsea's disappointing 1-1 draw against West Brom was a point gained, not two points lost.
Chelsea led through a first half Branislav Ivanovic header and looked on course to open up a five point lead over Arsenal.
But Victor Anichebe scored a late equaliser to give the Gunners the
chance to reclaim their top spot against Manchester United tonight.
Despite a looking like a disappointing result for the Blues, Hazard believes there are plenty of positives to be taken from it.
“It’s still a point, even if many people are disappointed,” Hazard said to Chelsea’s official website. “I think this is a point that will count. There were some good things but others less so.
“You cannot win every game and it was important we didn’t lose. We’ll
improve in the future and we will try to win the next game. We’ll see
what happens when the other teams play.”
It was the second time in the space of a month that Chelsea have
dropped points to relegation candidates having been held to a 0-0
stalemate at home to West Ham.
Hazard said, like West Ham, Pepe Mel's side made it hard for the creative players of Chelsea to express themselves.
“It was a puzzling game. At 1-0, I thought we were managing the match
well but we couldn’t get the second goal which would have given us
protection and then the game became difficult,” Hazard said.
“I tried to play, we tried to play, but it was a very difficult game.
It was a complicated whenever I had the ball because there were two or
three opponents there. We could have got one or two more goals if we had
been a little smarter with our final passes.
“They had a plan to defend, as was the case when we played West Ham.
It was a similar situation except at the end West Brom pushed a lot,
their crowd got behind them and it became complicated.”
Chelsea face title rivals Manchester City in the FA Cup in their tie as they fight for a place in the quarter finals.

Chelsea target Gonzalo Higuain has revealed he is keen on staying at Napoli for a considerable amount of time.
Higuain, who moved to Serie A outfit Napoli from Real Madrid for a fee believed to be in the region of £34.5million, was attracting interest from Chelsea during the January transfer window but decided to stay at the Stadio San Paolo.
The 26-year-old Argentine international, who has scored 12 goals in
22 Serie A games since joining Napoli, was identified as the man to
improve Chelsea's goalscoring record.
Jose Mourinho was keen on signing a striker as Chelsea strikers
Fernando Torres, Samuel Eto'o and Demba Ba have failed to deliver on a
regular basis this season.
Chelsea were apparently weighing up a £48million move for Higuain in January but were unable to tempt former Stamford Bridge boss Rafael Benitez into selling his star asset.
And Higuain has ruled out sealing a move to Chelsea by stating his happiness at plying his trade at Napoli.
Speaking to the Italian press, Higuain said: "I want to be like Maradona by first winning the World and the Scudetto with the blue jersey.
"In my heart, I still believe the same title this season, but if we are away we will do everything to take second place.
"My future is in Naples. I have a four year contract, I want to stay here."

A
former leader of the Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta,
MEND, Henry Okah, who was found guilty on 13 counts of terrorism, was
caught attempting to break out of the Leeuwkop prison in Johannesburg,
South Africa recently.

According to reports, Okah was the leader of a pack of five inmates attempting the jailbreak.

Among
his accomplices was infamous South African convicted serial rapist and
murderer, Jaco Steyn, who is serving five life sentences in addition to a
170 year sentence.
Okah was on March 26, 2013 sent to 24 years in prison by a South African court sitting in Johannesburg.
The
judge, Neels Claassen, found Okah guilty of 13 offences, including the
setting off of two bombs in Abuja and Warri, Delta State, on October 1,
2010. He was also sentenced for threatening the South African government
after his arrest.
Back home, the MEND over which Okah presided,
said it was shocked by the sentence, saying it was a planned punishment
by both the Nigerian and South African governments.
The two
major bomb attacks in Nigeria for which Okah was convicted in Nigeria
were carried out to embarrass President Goodluck Jonathan, Claaseen said
while sentencing the accused.

Nollywood
actress, Chika Ike sure cut a picture of a scandal free lady and always
preaches to be a born again Christian on her facebook wall even though
tongues have been wagging as to the real reason her 5 years old marriage
to a boardroom colossus, Tony Ebireri crashed.

It
might look like one of those Nollywood’s make-believe stories but
people close to Chika Nancy Ike are swearing to high heavens that the
Igbo born lady does anything for money including “seeing” men and
allegedly same sex.

The dependable source who drew our attention
to the fact that, no sooner Chika stormed out of her marriage of 5 years
than she began making millions of Naira and relocated to Abuja where
she opened a multimillion Naira fashion accessories store after she was
pimped for the nation’s No. 3 man, an affair she vehemently denied
though.

“It is no longer news that she’s dating Senate President,
David Mark, he’s the one that bankrolled her Fancy Nancy Collections
and she’s also frolicking with 2 State governors from the South South,
one of the governors just gave her millions to go for shopping in Dubai,
and this is aside her affair with her manager, Serah Donald.

The
role interpreter who was born on the 8th of November, 1985 in Onitsha,
Anambra State, we exclusively gathered is serial dating Governors
Godswill Akpabio of Akwa-Ibom State and the Delta CEO aside her on and
off relationship with the Senate President who’s not too happy she
confided in a friend that leaked it to the media.

Our reliable
source confided in National Enquirer that Chika’s manager Serah Onyeacho
popularly known as Serah Donald, a nominee of the Exquisite Lady of the
year awards ELOY 2013 in the category of Manager/PR of the year is a
lesbian known in the movie industry and her partner is the pretty
actress.
The duo goes virtually everywhere together including
abroad and those in the know are said to be baffled on why an unassuming
lady like Chika would be involved in lesbianism act. Serah Donald who
also doubles as a movie producer recently starred the actress as the
lead character in her latest film titled The Barrow Pusher under her
production company named Serah Donald Productions.

The latest of
their numerous trips abroad we gathered was their January 2014
adventure to the United Arab Emirate UAE Dubai. The duo was lodged at
the Emirate Palace Hotel, Abu Dhabi which is said to be one of the most
expensive hotels in Dubai. They spent days going from one mall to
another shopping and posting pictures on Instagram and twitter. We shall
keep tracking them.
These two should do and make it official na. I kinda like them together.
The two were spotted partying together at Hooray Henry's in West
Hollywood on Friday night. Witnesses claim the couple left the club
within minutes of each other and were spotted getting into the same cab.

Another
strike by members of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) is
imminent as there is fear over the implementation of the Memorandum of
Understanding reached with the federal government.

Indications
emerged as the national treasurer of ASUU, Dr Tunde Aremu, while
speaking at a luncheon held in honour of media for their roles in the
last strike in Ibadan yesterday, disclosed that government was yet to
release the N220 billion for 2014-2018 programmes.
He warned that
the gates of the universities might again be shut should government
refuse to implement the MoU reached at the tail-end of the last strike.
Aremu
explained that the money was to be released on quarterly basis and
deposited at the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN). However, he expressed
fears that the MoU reached with the government before the last strike
was called off might end up not being implemented as agreed.
Wondering
why the government let the last strike continue for 5 months, he said
that they don't want another strike to be launched.
While
commending the media, Aremu said that the emancipation of Nigeria
depends on the media and urged them not to rest in their oars.
He
said the struggle for the implementation of the 2009 agreement had been
partially won and called on the media to beam their searchlights on the
universities on how the money would be spent.
Meanwhile the
chairman University of Ibadan chapter of ASUU, Dr Olusegun Ajiboye, said
the union had no option than to proceed on the inevitable strike since
all avenues to let government realize the need to implement the
agreement had failed.
Ajiboye lamented that the government didn't
manage to use the resources at its disposal to effectively fund the
educational system of the country.

President
Goodluck Jonathan on Saturday said only the Peoples Democratic Party
could save Nigerians despite the challenges facing the party.

Jonathan
stated this in Sokoto State during a grand rally and reception
organised for a former governor of the state, Attahiru Bafarawa, who
defected to the PDP from the All Progressives Congress with his
supporters.
Speaker of the House of Representatives, Aminu
Tambuwal, was however conspicuously absent at the rally attended by
Vice-President Namadi Sambo; President of the Senate, David Mark; the
state deputy governor, Murktar Shagari, top government and party
officials.
The state governor, Aliyu Wamako, had recently defected to the APC alongside four other former PDP governors.
Jonathan
stated that PDP remained the symbol of democracy in the country and
that Nigerians, including religious leaders, business leaders, men and
women who are not partisan politicians, believe in the party.
He
added that if Nigeria was practising parliamentary system of government,
he would have called for early elections to prove that PDP was still in
control despite the gale of defections it was experiencing.
The President said, “I
was telling some people when we were coming this morning (Saturday) and
I saw the crowd, that if we were running a parliamentary system, where
the prime minister can call for early elections, I would have called for
early elections.
“Let us see where this noise is coming
from, whether they are supported. Some people are afraid to go back and
contest the seats because in a normal setting, if a parliamentarian
leaves his seat and crosses to another party, the assumption is that you
have consulted with your constituency and they agreed that you should
cross over.
“Such a parliamentarian would want to call
for early elections to show that he is going with his constituency, but
in Nigeria, the story is different.”
While listing the feats
achieved by his administration in education, agriculture, power and
road construction, Jonathan disclosed that after Sokoto, the team would
also go to Imo, Kano and all the geo-political zones to showcase the
party’s achievements to the people.
He added that Nigerians get
jittery when they hear the challenges the party is facing “because the
feeling is that if anything happens to PDP, it will affect the country.”
“The reasons are obvious;
PDP is the only party that is stable. It has undergone its changes.
Other parties are still changing, we don’t know where they will change
to but PDP is stable at all levels and we promise that PDP will continue
to give leadership at all levels.
“PDP is the only party that has the vision to lead this country to stability and economic revolution,” he stated.
Vice-President Sambo commended Bafarawa for his bold initiative in joining the PDP with his large followers.
“The umbrella will soon be filled up, those wishing to join should better do so on time,” he said.
National Chairman of the PDP, Adamu Muazu, said the PDP remained the party to beat in the country in the next 60 years.
In his remark, Bafarawa said he was led into joining the fold of the PDP on the instruction of his people.
He assured the President that as far as Sokoto was concerned, he should “go to sleep.”
He said,
“Mr. President, I don’t want to tell you too many stories. As far as
Sokoto is concerned, you can go and sleep. You don’t have any problem.
We have been winning the elections; we have been rigged out and
manipulated out.
“Today, we are back to the mainstream of
PDP; there is no other party that will get even a councillor seat in
Sokoto, except PDP. This is a message I’m delivering on behalf of my
people and the entire people of Sokoto State.”
Meanwhile, on
Saturday, newly appointed National Director (Contact and Mobilisation)
for Goodluck Support Group, Mr. Perry Opara, said ahead of the 2015
general elections, over 3, 200 groups had indicated interest to organise
rallies for the re-election of the President.
Opara, who is a
PDP chieftain said, “For a long time, we have discovered that some of
the people in government and in the present administration are not
reaching out to Nigerians and telling them what the government is doing
and its achievements.
“We were called to work at the hub of the
Presidency and we have been there for over two years. As I speak, over
3, 200 groups have indicated interest to organise rallies and
conferences for the President’s second term, for which he has the right,
if he so desires.”
While describing the threat by the All
Progressives Congress to take over power from PDP as an old threat,
Opara said the planned rallies would win more support for Jonathan.
He
said, “I assure you there would be rallies in support of President
Jonathan, after the rallies, you will see the opposition reduced to 35

Nigerian
Business mogul and Africa’s richest man, Mr. Aliko Dangote, has called
for the realisation of a healthy Nigerian society to enable the country
advance forward as a developed sovereign nation.

Dangote,
who spoke weekend at the Summit of the Private Sector Health Alliance
while inaugurating the Nigeria Health Innovation Market, NHIM, Steering
Committee, called for viable partnerships between the Nigerian private
sector and Federal government to enable the country attain targets of
the Millennium Development Goals, MDGs.
“There is no way we can
progress without a healthy society even when you look at it from the
business point of view. Having a very healthy society is very important
and key for us to be able to move the country forward.
“I can see
no reason why we cannot meet the targets of the MDGs, so the private
sector must team up and partner with government so that we can deliver
on our MDGs,” he remarked.
Admonishing the private sector, Dangote
noted: “It is really very important for the private sector to continue
collaborating with the Federal government. I see no reason why we sit
down comfortably in our air-conditioned offices and aesthetic homes
while we are losing about 800 lives annually. It is unacceptable.
“The
rule of justice will catch up with us if we fail to act. Let’s stop too
much talking and begin to deliver. No matter what is the innovation,
unless there is commitment, we will not be able to deliver.
Dangote
called for seriousness on the part of government. He said government
has to be ready and willing to get support so that the deliveries can be
obtained. “It is not that people are not trying but we need to be
encouraged.”
In her Keynote Address on Leveraging Innovation and
Technology to Improve Health Outcomes, Minister for Communication
Technology, Mrs. Omobola Johnson said what Nigeria requires to meet her
health related MDGs is significant.
“Under-five child mortality
rate must decline by at least 9 percent year-on-year, and our maternal
mortality ratio, which decreased at a rate of 4 percent from 1990 to
2006, must further reduce by at least 9
READ MORE: http://news.naij.com/58863.html

Two brothers, Kunmi and Adeniyi Adetokun died within days of each
late last year in Oyo state and family members say it was after they
slept with their uncles’ wives. The uncle, (pictured above) is accused
of killing the brothers with a deadly anti-adultery charm commonly known
as Magun. He was attacked and nearly killed by irate youths following
the d***h of the second brother. He is lying critically ill in a
hospital in Ibadan.
Tribune reports the full story. Find it below…

The incident happened at Jagun community near Iyana Ofa,
Lagelu Local Government Area of Oyo State towards the end of 2013 when
two blood brothers, Kunmi and Adeniyi Adetokun, died, one after the
other, within three days, allegedly of a local charm used to punish
adulterous men, commonly referred to as magun in Yoruba.
This literally translates ‘don’t climb’ in English. But the two
brothers climbed the metaphorical mountains that were too high for them.
And they somersaulted down the hills, breaking their necks in the
process. The occurrence, however, sparked off anger among the youth of
the community, resulting in them setting ablaze the residence of the
Balogun of the community, Chief Segun Oyetade, the deceased’s uncle, as
he was suspected to have been responsible for the duo’s d***h. They also
attacked him with weapons but was only saved when the youth got a hint
that policemen were approaching.

The scene opened on Monday, December 2, 2013 when Kunmi reportedly
died after having s*x with a woman allegedly laced with magun and who
was said to be his aunt-in-law. The woman was said to be his uncle’s
wife.
On December 5, three days after Kunmi’s d***h, his younger brother,
Adeniyi, was also reported to have died of unknown ailment which he
battled with for a couple of weeks after allegedly sleeping with the
wife of Chief Oyetade’s brother, whose name was given simply as Femi.
According to the information gathered by Saturday Tribune, Niyi was
the one who fell ill first after he slumped and started vomitting blood.
His brother, Kunmi, was reportedly taking care of him at a hospital at
Lalupon community.
It was further learnt that Kunmi left Niyi at Lalupon and went to
Jagun community where he allegedly had s*x with his uncle’s wife. His
own illness did not take much time before it consumed him and he died
three days after it manifested. Having noticed this, Niyi reportedly
opened up that he slept with Femi’s wife, which confirmed the suspicion
of the villagers that he must have been hit with the deadly charm.
A member of the community described the type of magun used on Niyi as
Olorere which usually takes days or weeks before killing the man who
sleeps with the woman laced with such.
After Kunmi’s d***h, Chief Oyetade was reportedly summoned by the
Baale of Jagun community, Chief Isiaka Akinpelu, who asked him about the
allegation that he laced his wife with magun. The man denied and the
Baale appealed to him to find the antidote so that Niyi could be healed.
The Balogun reportedly came back to the village head to demand for
N4,000 which he said was the fee demanded by the herbalist who
volunteered to prepare the antidote. Members of the community were said
to have contributed the money but before he brought it, Niyi gave up the
ghost.
Niyi’s d***h after his brother’s spurred the community’s anger as
Chief Oyetade was also accused of sleeping with the mother of the two
brothers, which prompted the question on why he should be angry that
someone was having an affair with his wife or his brother’s wife, to the
extent that he could aim at killing the brothers.
The anger led to the attack on him while his house was set on fire
and his wife and children sent out of the community in the dead of the
night.
Chief Isiaka Akinpelu, who was said to have got a hint of the youth’s
plan to attack Chief Oyetade, had reportedly gone to Iyana Ofa Police
Division to quickly give the information to the police but before they
got back to the village, the youth had struck. As they saw the
approaching policemen, they were said to have fled in different
directions, leaving the injured chief to his fate.
However, Chief Oyetade, during an interview with Saturday Tribune on
hospital bed where he was receiving treatment, alleged that it was the
Baale who sent the youth to attack him because of a tussle between them
over a piece of land.
He denied the allegation that he laced the women with magun, saying that his accusers were only trying to tarnish his image.
“What I only heard was that Niyi was sick, but I didn’t know the kind
of ailment because he was living at Lalupon. Later the Baale called me
and some elders, saying that my nephew, Femi, laced his wife with magun,
which resulted in Niyi’s illness. I didn’t believe the allegation
because Niyi had been ill for some weeks and from the story we used to
hear about magun, it doesn’t take so long before being felt.
“They went further to say that I was the one who gave Femi the magun
which he laced his wife with, accusing me of doing same for my wife,
which led to Kunmi’s d***h. I exclaimed in shock, disclosing that my
wife was pregnant and wondering how one would lace a pregnant woman with
a charm such as magun.
“It was after this that Chief Akinpelu said he was after the wellness
of Niyi, tasking me and the head of Niyi’s family, one Mr Adewale
Adekambi, to go and look for the antidote. By then, Niyi was being cared
for in Ibadan and it was Ibadan we went to seek the antidote.
Unfortunately, Niyi died on Thursday, December 5.
I joined Niyi’s sibling, Seun and his aunt in taking the corpse away
from where he died. As we wanted to take him to the cemetery, his
brother said we should take him home, unknown to me that it was a trap
set for me. As soon as I disembarked from the vehicle, hoodlums
descended on me with sticks, pestle and cutlasses. I kept asking them of
my offence and when they saw that I did not collapse, one of them
struck me with an axe on the head and I fell down.
“A sympathiser called the Baale to inform him of what happened to me
but before he came, I was already crawling away. A community member saw
me and jeered at me, saying: ‘Where are you going? Your house and
property are still going for it.’
He said the disagreement between him and Chief Akinpelu occurred when
he sold his own father’s parcel of land and the Baale challenged him by
saying that he did not inform him. “He has no business with the land.
My brother and I agreed before the land was sold and it belonged to our
father,” Chief Oyetade said.
Saturday Tribune gathered that the police detectives, led by the
Divisional Police Officer, Iyana Ofa, Mrs Justina Ogunleye, took the
victim to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
Chief Oyetade’s wife, Rachael, also narrated her ordeal thus: “I was
invited by the Baale and he asked me about Kunmi’s d***h. I told him
that I did not know anything about it. I also swore in the presence of
the elders seated, asking if anyone of them had ever seen my nakedness.
It was when I was raining curses that the Baale asked me to go.
“On Thursday, December 5, my husband travelled to Ibadan and told me
he was not coming back. At about 11:00p.m., I heard a knock on my door
and when I opened, I saw four men who asked me to leave with my children
without picking a pin, threatening that if I delayed, they would burn
us with the house.
“I slept in the bush with my children, among who was a two-year-old,
and at dawn, we trekked to a town near Ibadan, from where we took a bike
to Iyana-Ofa. From there, I boarded a bus to Ibadan. I tried to contact
my husband but could not get him. It was later I learnt that he had
been attacked.”
When contacted, the police spokesperson in Oyo State, DSP Olabisi
Okuwobi-Ilobanafor, confirmed the development, disclosing that two of
the suspected arsonists and attackers had been arrested. She added that
the Commissioner of Police, Mohammed Indabawa, had ordered that the case
be transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID),
Iyaganku, Ibadan, for further investigation.

g*y Nigerians Flood Netherlands Embassy Seeking Asylum

The Embassy of the Netherlands in Nigeria has confirmed that it has
received some applications for asylum by some Nigerians who fear
persecution following the recent signing into law the anti-g*y bill by
President Jonathan
Netherlands is a g*y-friendly country. The embassy sent an email to
Thisday some days ago saying that despite receiving these applications,
it was neither involved in processing any application for asylum seekers
nor does it have the power to grant asylum to applicants.
“The embassy has received a small number of applications for asylum
by Nigerians. It is not possible to apply for asylum at the embassy. We
inform the applicants likewise but we do not register the number of
applications made. At this stage, it is not possible to make
predictions.
That would be speculation. However, when people become increasingly
aware that it is not possible to apply for asylum at the embassy, one
could expect a decrease. The embassy is not involved in the asylum
process, neither in the application nor in the determination of the
authenticity of claims.”

General Pype May Relocate To America Soon

General Pype is popular, a reggae/dancehall artist whose style of music
has stood him out, he has been one of those artistes who grace an event
and the place is lit with excitement around the country, however, it is
reported that the artiste may be leaving the shores of Africa to the
United States of America to reside with the mother of his child, Zee.
According to sources, Zee is not happy that General Pype is staying in
Nigeria while she is in America and would want him to cross over and be
with his family.

A close source said “ The singer have started
the process but still remain reluctant about it. We heard his white
American girlfriend is not happy about the distance between them and she
is currently telling him to come and be a father to his son and not a
visitor.”

Even the mother of General Pype is in support that he
leaves but he might not live in America permanently because of his
music, with his album almost ready , he may end up working with some
international stars according to sources

While David Beckham has launched plans for a glamorous new club in Miami, his old Manchester United team mates Gary Neville and Ryan Giggs are preparing to invest in Salford City in the eighth tier of the football pyramid.
Neville is in talks with the humble Northern Premier League Division
One North club, with Giggs also likely to be involved in plans to
transform the minor league outfit, according to the Manchester Evening News.
"Discussions are at a preliminary stage," a spokesman for Neville told BBC Sport.
Salford City, who play in front of gates of around 100, could become a
hub for talented local youngsters, who would remain in the area with a
view to being groomed for a seamless move into the professional game.
Both Neville and Giggs have links with Salford as Giggs grew up there
and Neville lived nearby while United's old training ground 'The Cliff'
was in the district.
Salford were formed in 1940 and have always played in the lower reaches of the non-League pyramid.
Neville, 38, retired in 2011 after playing for United for almost 20
years, while Giggs, 40, is still in United's first team having made
nearly 1,000 appearances for the club.
The two are also business partners and own a restaurant in Manchester
and have a stake in a new hotel being built opposite United's Old
Trafford stadium.
Earlier this week their old United colleague Beckham announced plans
to move into club ownership with the launch of a new MLS club in Miami.
Salford are understood to be keen on the idea of Giggs and Neville
investing in the club as it could bring them sponsorship revenue which
is otherwise scarce outside of the Football League.
The duo hope fellow class of '92 members like Paul Scholes and Nicky Butt will also help out in some way.
Helping out, we hope, could see Scholes rolling back the years once more to produce moments of brilliance such as this.
A forlorn hope, maybe, but hope all the same.

[Music] T-Pain Ft. An Osogbo Magistrates’ Court, Osun, on Friday remanded a 29-year-old
man, Akeem Ibrahim, in prison custody for allegedly raping a
two-year-old girl.
Magistrate Olusola Aluko, who gave the order, directed that the
accused be remanded in prison custody due to the magnitude of the
offence.
The Prosecutor, Insp. Fagboyinbo Abiodun, had told the court that the
accused committed the offence on Feb. 2, at about 1:00 p.m. along Fagi
Isale Afon, Ikirun Area of Osun.
Abiodun said the accused unlawfully had carnal knowledge of the girl.
He said the action of the accused, contravened section 218 and 222 of
the Criminal Code, Cap 34, Vol. 11, Laws of Osun, 2003 and 2007.
Abiodun said he would be charged with assault and r**e.
The counsel to the accused, Mr Ragenious Ugwu, urged the court to grant his client bail in most liberal terms.
The magistrate however overruled the bail application and ordered
that the accused to be remanded in prison custody, pending formal
application for bail.
He adjourned the case to March 3 for mention.

Vidic
announced on Thursday night that he would be leaving the reigning
Premier League champions after eight seasons at the club.

"It was something that we all mutually agreed together," the United boss said.
"I think it was the right decision for club and player."
Vidic has been heavily linked with a move to Inter Milan.
The Serb will skipper the Red Devils until the end of the season.
"He has been a brilliant servant for Manchester United," Moyes added.
"He is captain and it will remain that way until the end of the season.
"He has been a great player for us and we will continue using him."
Moyes confirmed that Jonny Evans will miss Sunday's home game against Fulham with a calf injury he suffered against Stoke.
Phil Jones, who came off with concussion against the Potters, could be fit, however.
Marouane Fellaini's bad luck with injuries continues as he has suffered a groin injury and will be out for a week, Moyes added.
This weekend will be the first time that Fulham manager Rene Meulensteen has come back to Old Trafford since leaving the United coaching staff in the summer.
Moyes opted to bring in a number of his own staff when he replaced Sir Alex Ferguson as manager.
The former Everton boss revealed he was sad to see the Dutch coach leave United, however.
"Rene helped me when I first came here," Moyes said.
"I had several conversations with him. He helped me, told me about the club, how it runs and the players.
"In the end I would have liked him to stay at the time but he wanted to go and that was fine.
"I am looking forward to getting Rene back and seeing him."
