Wow, it's been a very long time since i've posted here. Life has been hectic (what's new), and there is personal reasons for me not blogging, but im nearly ready to return. Im going to change blogs - i'll give you the link soon when it's ready, then Tea&Nosh will be a thing of the past. Expect bigger & better things.

I'm currently lusting after many things, but in particular this Chloé Leather iPad case, that doubles up a clutch bag. Be still my beating heart.

(i hate how blogger descales the quality of my photos, boo. These photos also showed me the horrible realisation that, at some point, I've gained dark roots. Sob.)

How lovely is the weather becoming? I'm hoping Summer is finally here! These photos were actually taken yesterday, but by the time I was able to do a post, I was just too exhausted to stay up and do it! The skirt is my new favorite piece of clothing; it's from Primark, and was £8 I think? I love the pleats, the colour, the length - everything! I was a bit unsure at first, as I wasn't sure if I was tall enough to 'pull it off' as such, but I think it looks okay :) What do you guys think?

I'm on Easter break now till end of April/beginning of May, so I have a lot of revision I need to start cramming in, as well as trying to find some work experience. Gonna be a busy few weeks for me; I also have a wedding and engagement party too... I'm not sure how I'm going to find the time to do everything!

Oooh how nice is the weather for us Londoners? It's so nice to be not wearing coats/scarves and to be wearing sunglasses! Plus, sunshine & warmth = everyone happy and no angry commuters in the morning!

I went slightly risque and wore leather (faux) leggings today... It was a bit off putting at first as they cling to EVERY part of your legs/bum, so there's no hiding any secret bulges and bumps! I'm still slightly unsure on them; what do you guys think?

I went out for my birthday night out on Saturday, and despite some... issues.. it was fun (till we went home early and I had to deal with certain things, or shall I say people!). I'm still waiting for my friend to upload her photos, so heres a cheeky one to show you all how it fitted!

So, I'm finally the big two-one. I'll admit, I don't feel much difference, although it's some what reassuring to know I can legally drink in America and get into 21+ clubs? Ha.

I was so grateful for all my presents and cards, but it's my Mulberry Alexa that truley won my heart! It's from my parents and I'm actually in love with it. I shall treat it as I would a child! J got me a gorgeous DKNY watch and tickets to see Ghost Stories in a couple of weeks; I've been wanting to see it for months & I've heard it's brilliant yet terrifying! My little sister got me some Hollister aftershave (yes, I did say aftershave! It smells amazing), my dear old Nan got me my AQUA dress and gave me money to treat myself with, then I got money and some various mini gifts from friends and family, including this gorgeous bracelet from my best friend Sarah. I also treated myself to these Kurt Geiger shoes with some of the money I recieved... I feel very spoilt to say the least!

Also, how lovely is the weather right now? It looks like Spring has finally come down here! It's amazing how a bit of Sun and some warmth can make your day ten times better. I certainly have a little spring in my step!

001. I despise Mondays with a passion, and all I have to do is go to University! How am I going to cope when I have a full time job?! I didn't have lecture today, as it was (annoyingly) cancelled. Normally I would have thought, "YES! No Uni for me; back to bed it is!" but we was going to be talking about our next novel, Never Let Me Go, which I was excited about! (partly because I enjoyed the book, but mainly because I had actually finished a book before we started the lecture on it; a first for me!).

002. I have my contact lens fit this afternoon too, which I'm pretty nervous about. For those who don't know, I work part-time at Tesco, which I've done since leaving school in 2006. I've changed departments a few times, and now I work on the Opticians (which means free sight tests, free contact lens checks, free glasses and free contacts!). However, I get very nervous and anxious about having my eyes tested, so to have a teach with my colleagues around me is a bit daunting. I know, I know, I sound ridiculous! Even reading it back I realise how silly I sound. Wish me luck anyhow! I'm determined to get some so I can actually see when I go out for my birthday bash.

003. Lastly, hello new followers! My page views/followers seems to have shot up in the past few days which makes me extremely happy! I love seeing that people actually like reading about my blog and my ramblings (you crazy bunch). Don't be a stranger, come say hey!

001. My oh my, I am just beyond exhausted at the moment. Thank god for photoshop as the circles under my eyes are horrific at the moment :( I spent a very stressed filled day walking across London to scout out Birthday venues. To cut a (very) long story short, my original venue ended up being booked up, so I spent all of yesterday & today panicking and stressing, just to find out they can still accommodate me on pretty much the same deal I was going for. I cheered myself up with some gorgeous Godiva chocolates. Nom.

002. I have two essays to finish (when I say finish, I mean start) before the end of this month, which I am determined to do next week! One is for Politics, the other is for Poetry and Drama - I have to go to the Finborough Theatre on Wednesday to see a play, then write my anaylis up for it. Oh joy!

003. The AQUA dress debate continues... I am purchasing it on Sunday, but I need help deciding on which colour. Originally it was out of the black, red and tan, but from previous responses, it's now out of the tan or red!

Help?!

ps; I have also noticed how desperately i need my eyebrows done. They look like caterpillars, boo.

Here I am again, leaving essays to the last minute and procrastinating on the internet *slaps wrists* When will I ever learn?

Excuse the absolutely awful quality of the photo; that's what you get when your friend uploads the photos to Facebook and it descales them. The girl next to me is my best friend Sarah; she'll probably crop up in more of my photos now and again! The dress she's wearing is one of mine that I got in the sale at the Topshop concession at Debenhams - it was only £10!

We went out to our friends birthday Saturday night to Strawberry Moons in Maidstone, Kent. I've kind of grown out of clubbing now, and much prefer dinner and bar dates, but when it's a friends 21st you can't say no really. However, I was pleasantly surprised at the choice of venue! It had two floors & another separate room, a good choice of music and (!!!!!) cocktails were £3... yes, you heard me right girls, three pounds. If you've been reading my blog a while you'll know that I am a sucker for my cocktails.. and, well, I was in heaven! I didn't drink much as Sarah was driving (and who wants a drunk passenger?) but I must go back and make the most of it.

Once I've finished today's essay I need to start my politics one this week, then book my birthday up.. Only a mere three weeks till I hit the grand old age of 21! I have no idea what J or my parents are getting me, so I'm all excited!

In other news, I went and tried on the Aqua dress and although I needed a smaller size, and it was the white I tried on, it was pure love. I can get 20% off from ASOS so it'll bring the price down to £136 which makes it a bit easier to swallow if I do decide to purchase it. Decisions decisions..

I must dash and finish this essay... it's about the novel Mrs Dalloway and feminism, so if any of you have views/opinions feel free to share (as I'm very stuck!)

I was going to start this post off with a portrait photo (it's a slight tradition it seems with my posts, and my page views seem to go mad when there is one!) but alas, I am feeling far too weary and tired to do so :( So I thought this is the perfect time to do another wishlist & wants post, so I can show you lovelies what I'm lusting after at the moment rather than my face!

Isn't it gorgeous? It comes a little long on me (oh the joys of being a childs height) but I love the shape to it, and the fact it can be dressed up or down. The reason Sarah mentioned this was because I'm after a dress for my 21st, and the one I want is slightly out of my budget (although i'm still considering it)....

Oh god, just looking at it breaks my heart! It comes in this colour, white, black, pink and red. They have a store in Carnaby Street, so I'm considering going to try it on... Eek!

001. Yes I am alive. I haven't disabandoned the blogging world quite yet. I've got quite a lot going on ~irl~ which is why I've been a bit AWOL the past few days. I'll be back to blogging regularly in no time. Don't worry, I'm happy and healthy so don't worry yourselves :)

002. I wore this outfit on Saturday night when I went out for dinner and drinks with my best friend. We went TGI's and I re-found my love for some of their delicious drinks. Food & cocktails = definitely the way to a girls heart. I'm not sure why the quality of the photo is as bad as it's showing either... apologies!

003. Did anyone watch the BAFTAS last night? I adore watching them, and also the Oscars/Golden Globes etc. Everyone looked lovely, and it was no surprise that Colin Firth/'The Kings Speech' basically won (nearly) everything they were nominated for. It didn't surprise me that Natalie Portman won 'Best Actress' either!

004. Hope you all have a lovely Valentines day too. I personally despise it, and see it as a way of places like Clintons to rip people off, but hey ho, each to their own and what not. I'm spending the night in with J, probably pigging out on sweets and watch rubbish TV or a film! So, whatever you lovely ladies are doing, I hope you all enjoy yourselves :)

Ah where has this week (and weekend) gone?! I feel like this year is going too quick already, especially as I'm going to *finally* be 21 next month. Scary. However, this does mean it's getting closer to Summer; yipee!

I actually wore this outfit on Friday, but I've been so busy with work and other bits, I haven't had time to update! You might recognise the shirt, as it is from this post! As you can see, it looks much nicer in real life :) The colour is very similar to the tunic in my last post! The (faux) leather shorts were a christmas gift, and i adooooore them, despite their funny shape I think they have. They're so comfy, and I love teaming the toughness of them with a pretty shirt or blouse.

I'm becoming ridiculously tired recently too, which I am disliking; I feel like my days are wasted, as I have no energy to do anything, or anything that I do do, it makes me exhausted after. I swear this isn't an excuse for my laziness, as much as I would like it to be!

I also got 'round to watching Black Swan the other night too! Oh my, it was breath taking, and I can also see what people mean when they say how dark it is. I wouldn't say it's for everyone, but if you have any doubts about seeing it (like I did) then seriously, go and watch! I was blown away to say the least.

Woah woah woah... What is this? Another outfit post? Another entry after only blogging yesterday? *gasp* I know, I was just as shocked as you guys! I quite liked the outfit I wore today, so I thought I would share it all with you! The tunic/dress is from (would you believe it) Topshop and the jacket is from the Urban Outfitters' sale - it was reduced from £60 to £10; bargain! Looking at the photos, I realise this tunic does come across as a bit on the short side, but trust me, it doesn't look that bad irl. The benefits of being short results in being able to wear many things as dresses, yay!

I want to point you in the direction of a post that caught my eye last night; the lovely Elle from Elle & The Fashion Folk wrote a great little entry about 'what makes a good blog?'. It's a great read and very well written - I think many of you would enjoy it!

Also, Lily pointed out an entry by a lovely girl called Sofia, who has wrote about 'the ugly side of blogging'. It's a real eye opener to be honest, and I do feel sorry for some of these girls (and boys!) whose small blogs have turned into a phenomenon in the "blog-o-sphere" world, and how they end up being judged by others for what they say or do!

wishlist & wants 001

I've always liked the idea of having a regular weekly post on something... so I thought this was a good idea to start with! I'm constantly making mental wish lists of things that I ~~must~~ want to own, so putting it down somewhere means I won't lose track of them all hah.

As many of you can probably tell from previous posts, Topshop is where I get the majority of my clothes from - don't get me wrong, I'll shop anywhere if they have things that I like, but Topshop just always seems to have "me" clothes, and the fit is great for me. SO! With Spring just around the corner (I'm optimistic...) here are some bits that I must get my paws on soon:

Eek! How lovely are these bits? I can't wait to throw on dresses with just a cute cardigan in the Summer. Going to parks for picnics, and having pub lunches. I am so excited! I also NEED (yes, need) that boat hat in my life. I have been searching for the perfect one since last Summer, and I think that the above hat is "the one".

Excuse me for the 'turn my face away from the camera' pose up there ^ One of my eyes has been bloodshot for a week now, and they are both quite pinky where I'm run down and tired; I didn't want to scare you all with my mutant eyes.

Saying that, I need to sleep - I'm up at that awful hour of 6am for University, and I'm not doing myself any favours with still being up now! Although my excuse is, I was meant to do this post this morning before I went to lecture, but I didn't have time! Woops.

Hello there strangers - remember me? Thought not. It has been two weeks since my last blog post. TWO WEEKS! I am actually a poor excuse for a blogger :( Apologies! I won't bore you with my ~~excuses~~ reasons, but I assure you it won't happen again!

I have been a naughty girl recently, and bought lots of stuff (that I can't really afford as I'm still paying off my car... shh), but there is so much lovely S/S stuff out there at the moment that I just could not resist! I have no will power what so ever. It's because of this that I don't think I will ever be able to save up and afford my own place!

I always love seeing other peoples outfit posts, but I never really have the time and patience to always do my own. I'll try do some more every now and again, probably more so in the Summer - that way I can do them outside where space isn't a problem :)

I've also changed my layout ever so slightly with my choice of fonts... I would love to re-do it completely, but I am the worst person at designing layouts and doing any type of fancy html! However, if anyone is feeling generous, I would love some help in designing one!

Oh! I also want to wish Sarah a very happy birthday today too. Make her day & go visit her blog; it's full of lovely photos, and (unlike yours truly) she's a regular blogger :P

I've been putting this post off a while, because I was hoping to get some nicer photos from Saturday night, as i stupidly forgot to take any of my outfit/dress due to running late *facepalm*. No-one seems to have posted any on Facebook (my only resource sigh), so I stole this one that Nanci had of us both! The dress is from Topshop; I got it 1-2 years ago now? Don't take my word on that! It's quite fitted, with elbow length sleeves, and your back is shown, as it's slightly cut out. It looks gorgeous on, and I adore it!

I had quite a good night (from what I can remember...). We had our staff party in a function room, where we had drink tokens for free drinks (yipee!), so everyone got pretty messy. Afterwards we went into Romford (I'm sure some of you may have heard of it - it isn't the nicest of places), where we went to a club/bar called Brannigans - it basically plays cheesy/pop music all night, and when you've had one too many, it is the best night!

I'm trying to start planning my 21st too... It's not until March, but I want somewhere booked, and I want to know how many people will be coming! I've looked into places such as Tiger Tiger and Roadhouse (I'll be going London btw), so I would love any recommendations of good places to go! Pref where you can book a table or booth :)

My resolutions are going.... so/so. I forgot I had an essay due tomorrow - Christmas and New Year threw me completely out of sync - so instead of doing it now, I am writing this. Woops. Healthy eating isn't toooooo bad! I treat myself properly on weekends, and in the week, if I fancy a packet of crisps, then I'll have some, but I'm trying not to over-indulge and making sure I have (a good) breakfast, lunch & dinner! I'm going back to the gym Friday, which I am not looking forward to /sadface. However I need to shift this excess Christmas weight, and I want lovely slim legs & tum to match! Wish me luck!

Anyway, I suppose I better go shift my arse and do this essay; thankfully I'm not in work till 11:30 tomorrow (hello 10am lay in), so I don't need to sleep anytime soon! I always find getting 'into' the essay is the hardest part though... especially when I am lost with what to write! I shall do a proper entry in the next day or two once I've finally stopped stressing and I can write a decent entry with plenty of photos! Till next time....

Fake tan - the love and hate of womens lives. I'll admit, I love having a nice tan and glow (especially if it's natural!), but I have no time for the upkeep of it. I'm a typically lazy student aren't I?
I went through my phase of fake tanning in college (3-4 years ago), where I would use it at least twice a week to upkeep a nice colour! However I stopped when some girl sneered at me saying "Why are your arms so brown? It's winter...".

Occasionally i've used it when going out to parties/clubs/bars, and want to get my legs out and not look casper white! However, this is a good year - 2 years ago now, and i've been trying to 'embrace' my paleness since then.

As you may have read in my last post, I have my work party tomorrow, and I'm considering, for one night only, to look a bit golden, and less washed out. I used to use St. Tropez (the liquid tan, not mousse!) and apply with a mitt, mixing a little with moisturiser for my face and neck. However, it's been in my cupboard for quite some time, so I don't think it would be wise to use it! My question to you girlie, is, what recommendations do you have of fake tans? (pref ones that develop better over night). I'm going to purchase a new one later, but would love to hear what you use for yourselves (if any!). For the record, I wish not to look like this;
