Crysis 2 sucks?

some say Crysis 2 sucks, well in the mindset of a PC Gamer, yes. im glad to see im not the only one to think so.

Kyle at hardocp pretty much sum's up my thoughts for this game.I really think many to all PC gamers where looking forward to Crysis 2 to challenge the hardware in the systems they own.
~ Game play, sucks
~ Graphics are no better that what is on consoles
~ the games A.I. is just dumb
~ Free roaming is gone
~ 15 hours of game play is just not right.
Yes, the Graphics are nice, but when you spend money on a gaming computer, you expect to play a game that push's the hardware, as Crysis did when that came out. and i shoud'nt feel like im playing on a console.
So unless crytek gives us a dx11 patch, or some DLC as in new maps, more citys, some thing... im not impressed and I can not recommend buying this game

Well, me,I play games, but now that I've finished Mass Effect 2 twice now( had to check out both endings) and Bioshock 2 is not out just yet, so I build high level AMD Dragon systems on paper. Whats a Dragon system? pretty much every high end part AMD has. as in:

Why 3? the system you just looked at has Eyefinity. so you can span your desktop to all 3 or play games on all 3. why these 3? well, so they match for one. and the other thing is these monitors are the cheepest monitor with built in Display Port yet. and i dont have room for huge monitors. to get the eyefinity working, you need 1 displayport monitor and 2 of any other port the card has on it. 2 x DVI-D, 1 x HDMI, or a $99 active display port adaptor will be required to adaptor the display port to any thing else.

so just around $3600 you can have a smoking fast gaming rig, that also looks good

PcPer has reported that intel has anounced the upcoming ISSCC conference (http://www.isscc.org/isscc/index.htm) details were released about the Westmere 6-core product otherwise known as Gulftown. This processor, that will fit into existing LGA1366 processor sockets on current X58 consumer motherboards, will likely be released in the next 60 days or so but we are finally getting more details and information about what to expect.

Because the Gulftown CPU is built on Intel's 32nm process technology, consumers will be getting a 50% increase in core count and a 50% increase in cache for the same power envelope as current 45nm LGA1366 processors. Based on the Westmere architecture, Gulftown will once again re-integrate the triple-channel memory controller on-die; a change from the first Westmere parts that were released that were dual-core and moved a dual-channel memory controller to a second on-package chip coupled with integrated graphics. (See our Clarkdale CPU coverage here.) And just to clarify - Gulftown will not have integrated graphics on it.

The processor will have 12MB of L3 cache and include HyperThreading and Turbo Boost technology. The die is 240mm^2 and consists of 1.17 billion transistors.

Gulftown will be released both as a consumer part as well as a Nehalem EP processor for servers and workstations. This of course means a return to the world of Intel QuickPath Technology (QPI) as DMI will be limited to the mainstream processors of Lynnfield and Clarkdale. Another interesting change on the Westmere-based processors is that Intel has added support for low-voltage DDR3 memory that will run with little as 1.35 volts compared to the 1.5 volts the controller is at today.

as it maybe the game of the year, Bioware have officially revealed the all star cast.

revealing some new (and old) faces.

Seth Green (“Austin Powers”) as Joker, the Normandy’s pilot. “Chuck” star Yvonne Strahovski as Cerberus operative Miranda Lawson.

Keith David (“Crash”) returns as Admiral David Anderson. wait..... what??

yes, i said co-op. the only thing this game is missing is a left 4 dead style game play. even if its just you and 2 more friends, but if you played L4D and Mass Effect 2, then just think, how much fun it would be fighting the all mighty "collectors"
Sure, there might not be enuff of the bad guys to shoot, but it wouldnt be hard to increase to the number of players in the Co-op.
It is my guess that with Bioshock 2 being multiplayer and some form of co-op, that you will see Mass Effect 3 having it as well seeing as Bioshock 2 is more than likely a test bed for it, seeing as L4D is so popular, for me any how, the fun it playing with a small group of friends,

Co-Op multi play is, in my opion, what Mass Effect 2 is missing to make it a perfect game. But as it stands, its still worth every penny

Today, I had a friend lose his account to the bad guys. My hacked friend sent out a different message this time which was quite unusual:

They are using phishing sites that ask you to log-in to your Steam account and the only difference is the address is slightly changed.

The last time this happened to my friend it was a "click here for 4 free steam games" and this one manged to attract 3 people on my friends list.

After the person logs into 'their account' on the site, it instantly takes over the account and changes all the information, account name and password so you cant log in to play your games.

If you poke around Steam's site, they say that Steam Employees will never ask for your account name or password and all transactions are made through the client program. So, if you get an offer and it's not through the official client, then its not true.
