There are a number of reasons behind the loss of valuable data from your Windows system.

In cases of accidental file deletion or formatting of the partitions, Windows removes the entries of files from the hard drive and they no longer can be accessed from their source location. If those entries can be read, all those lost/deleted files can be easily recovered. However, sometimes data gets lost due to the deletion of the entire Windows partition. In such cases, you first need to recover the lost partition and then only the data can be recovered from it. Stellar Partition Recovery Software incorporates powerful algorithms to search all previously existing Windows partitions and provides option to recover data from them.

Below steps will give you clear idea on recovering the lost partitions and recovering data from them:

Steps to Recover Windows Partitions Using Stellar Partition Recovery Software:

Run Stellar Phoenix Windows Data Recovery Software and click ‘Search Lost Volumes’under ‘Data Recovery’ tab.

All attached hard drives get listed in the ‘Select Drive’ screen. Select the drive from which you want to find out the lost partition and click ‘Continue’.

The ‘Scan Mode’ dialog box appears. Choose either ‘Quick Scan’ or ‘Deep Scan’ and click ‘OK’.

The ‘Select Volume’ screen lists all the lost partitions found in the selected hard drive. Choose the required one and click ‘Continue’.

Now, select any data recovery method – Quick Recovery, Deleted File Recovery or Formatted/Lost File & Folder Recovery. Note that the ‘Deleted File Recovery’ method recovers only the deleted files, whereas the ‘Formatted/Lost File & Folder’ method helps recovering data from the formatted volumes. Select the ‘Quick Recovery’ method for recovering all the data from the partition quickly.

After a quick scan the partition recovery software lists all the recoverable files in a tree-like three-pane structure. Here, the left pane shows the tree of the recoverable files & folders, the top right pane shows preview of files and the bottom right pane shows the files stored in folders. Click any file to preview.

In order to recover the files, check mark all or only the selected files and click the ‘Recover’ icon.

Select the destination to save the recovered files at the desired location. You can check mark the Compression option to save the recovered files in a zip folder.

Stellar Phoenix Windows Data Recovery is innovative partition recovery software that recovers data even from the lost or completely deleted Windows partitions. The software is completely reliable and with highly interactive user interfaces, easy to use. Moreover, with the free demo version of the software you can evaluate the software by previewing al your recoverable files. Once satisfied with its performance, you can purchase the full version to save the recovered files/folders.

TV enthusiasts like me already know the answer to this question. Freeview tantalises but it doesn’t deliver. That’s why it’s free. No, in an age where you have to pay for everything including the parking space in the road outside your own home (sorry, bit of a bugbear there!), the only way you can watch all the TV you’ve come to love is by getting dedicated TV packages. Or waiting til what you’re looking for comes out on iPlayer or a similar replay site.

The serious TV watcher is unlikely to be swayed by iPlayer and its host of free-to-use friends, unless he or she is happy to either watch programming on his or her laptop, or transmit from laptop to TV using an HDMI converter. In either case, even with the converter, the image quality isn’t as good as the real deal.

So depending on what you like to watch, that will dictate the kind of TV packages you’re interested in. And here, of course, is where you can get lucky – or you can get really mad.

Because unless you buy a super duper TV package with absolutely everything – which can cost you an absolutely crippling amount of money every month – then you have to trade off one interest against another in a lot of cases. So you can get plenty of films but very little sport. Or vice versa. Why? Because TV companies aren’t charities. And they’re interested in making you pay as much as they can for their services.

To be fair they’re getting a little better – and you can now get some pretty good TV packages without having to go all the way to the top. Sky Pus isn’t bad, BT has some good offers. Though at the end of the day they’re all much of a muchness, and your final decision is based as much as anything on customer service.

My advice to anyone looking at different packages: just try to make a list of your favourite channels before you start. Then identify all the TV packages including those channels, and pick the cheapest. Otherwise you get side-tracked with all this “great” stuff – like multiple sports channels – which you then find out is a load of old rubbish. And yes I am a TV enthusiast. One who’s realised that he only watches four channels on anything like a regular basis – HBO, BBC Three, ITV3 and Film 4. Because the rest are simple filler.

My point is, whatever you like to watch on TV, you’ll only ever use a fraction of the channels you can have. So beware of paying more for more stuff you never watch, if the things you already love are freely available either on Freeview, or on more modestly priced TV packages. Entertain yourself and all the family, sure – but don’t get snookered into paying for 50 extra sports channels all showing tiddlywinks.

Some web hosting companies really suck. After trying several web hosting companies in the past and each time getting different results, the decision to switch to another company was not difficult. There were always problems with speed or website restrictions which made me realize that I needed to change my web hosting company to one that was reliable, dependable and user-friendly. I decided on Godaddy. Not only did they offer more in terms of service, but with a GoDaddy promo code I managed to get additional savings to boot.

Here are 5 signs that will let you know that your current web hosting company sucks and you need to find a replacement fast.

1. The most common problem is an unstable website or one that stays down more than it stays up. Just when you turn on the computer and sign into the site you receive a message stating the ”website you are attempting to gain access to is not available.” This happens when the servers are overloaded due to an inadequate number of reliable networks. This could be a classic sign of greed on the web host’s part. Taking on more customers than their site can hold could be the fault of the web hosting company or the site owner for not upgrading.

2. The website is slow or unresponsive. Too many visitors attempting to gain access to the server at the same time can result in the site being unresponsive for an indefinite amount of time, or it may become increasingly slow. Constantly pushing the back button and reloading the page is a real turn off.

3. Outdated browsers are open door for hackers. It is true that websites are compromised often. The problem could be that some hosting sites are not offering full anti-vulnerability software. Once the DNS or web servers are compromised it is easy for anyone to change or redirect targeted traffic from any place on the internet. If the company has been compromised in the past now is probably a good time to pull out graciously without any hard feelings.

4. No chat or tech support in place is a sure tell sign that something is not right. The majority of web hosting companies have some type of support in place; whether it is by email or live chat. If no help is available when you need it the service may as well be useless. What happens when a customer runs into a problem and cannot use the site? Or it has been three days and still no response? This is not good customer service. In fact, it is the same as poor service or no service at all.

5. If a website constantly tries to sell you software updates and security patches minutes after you sign up, run. When you sign up for a web hosting company that charges for everything, this is not the sign of a reliable or trustworthy company. Although free and cheap is not always the best route to take, sometimes it may actually be the better route. Be careful of companies that continually bill your credit card without permission and provide poor services in return. The choice to renew is up to you, not the company.

Google Drive

in the present times you have been able to notice that fact that there are numerous free cloud storage services people can easily make use of to store their data over the Internet, any kind of files can be stored and that also on any device and anywhere. This is just too great as you can basically put aside all your worries of not being able to complete your tasks or projects if you are away from your system. On the other hand, many people now make use of Gmail and also utilizing the feature of Google Docs, now Google is all set to cater to your requirements with its recently launched cloud storage feature called as the ‘Google Drive’.

What is Google Drive?

Google Drive, which is previously called as the Google Docs happens to be an added cloud storage service that you can make use of to store up your data on the cloud and also access it anytime and across gadgets. If you have been making use of the Google Docs, then getting started with Google Drive is not going to be an issue for you, and you will be able to conveniently modify 30 different kinds of files without even installing the required application on your devices. Google is initially giving away 5 GB of free file storage capacity on Google Drive, and you can enhance it starting at just $2.49 on a monthly basis for 25GB.

Register and Access Anytime Anywhere

To get going with Google Drive, you are required to browse through the official portal and gain access to your 5GB free storage capacity.

Install It on Your Gadgets

Once you have registered, you can install the Google Drive on your PC, MAC as well as the Android devices. iOS users still have to hang around as no application has been released as yet.

Google Drive Over the Internet

If you are aware of the feature of Google Docs, it would be quite easy for you to come along Google Drive because all drag-dropping, sharing and commenting features are the same as you had in Google Docs. When you have to share a file, you just need to point your cursor to the particular file, right click over it and click over the ‘Share’ button.

Accessing Your Files

You can easily create new files on Google Drive; edit many file formats among others such as AutoCAD while you are on the go. You are only required to install the particular application extension in your Chrome browser, and the need to install the specific application on your system will no longer be required, you will be able to edit your files on your browse, and also stay connected to the Web.

Conclusion

Even though Google Drive has arrived late, it has turned out to be exceedingly beneficial for a large number of people, considering the utilization of Google Docs, which previously was only accessible over the Internet, now you can easily access the files locally on your system. Moreover, Google Drive supports numerous file formats; it becomes a lot easier for you to work anytime and anywhere as you will be able to edit 30 different file formats from your Chrome browser. In comparison to other cloud storage services, Google Drive happens to be the cheapest, maybe there is some catch, what is your say in this regard?

The sole aim of creation of responsive design is certainly nothing else than enhancing the user’s experience. Hence, simple tips and tricks are incorporated in the layouts of these ads and transformations are also made as and when needed. The major objective for all this is to make the designs compact and make them comply with the resolution of the computer perfectly well.

This format of creating responsive web design certainly has greater edge as compared to the traditional web design as now you will have things tailor made according to your manner of access; whether a smart phone user, Android tablet user or an online viewer. We have compiled ten such noteworthy responsive web designs here.

1. Sony

Sony

Sony has opted for responsive web design. The thing that will definitely hit your attention is that there is hardly any much transformation from its traditional square screen option. But the whole fascia has been made compact so that your browser experience gets squeezed uniformly to complement your screen resolution. The web designers of Sony have rescaled the images at the landing page and throughout the following pages into smaller dimension.

The fonts have also been minimized so that the visual uniformity is maintained just the way the traditional Sony screen shot has offered so far.

2. Gravite Design

Gravitate

Although the design studio at Gravite Design took almost the similar course as that of Sony, the striking factor is that it has not jeopardized with the potentials of their graphic designers. But, the neatness offered by the responsive web version of the same definitely needs praise. It has retained the basic outline of its traditional fascia. But the USP of this responsive species is its integrated appeal. The color palette that has been adopted in fusing together a new facade with the traditional landing page fascia also bears perfect unison.

3. Spark Box web design

sparkBox

The love for good things is perfectly visible in Spark Box responsive web design. They have retained the overall uniformly in their appeal with that of the traditional web design. But the new stance they have taken to make it fit the screen resolutions is to utilize the available width optimally and wisely. Spark Box has thus segregated the fascia into two halves. While the bigger half is the homepage, the smaller half is the compact interactive text blurb at the right hand corner of the screen. But they complement each other so well that nothing in the landing place appears out of place.

4. Colly

colly

This is regarded as the apt example of responsive web design. It has utilized its de-scaled space in the neatest manner, where symbols represent apps. For instance, you will find a flea symbolizing Flickr or a mighty snake hinting at Delicious. Although there is no specific or technical reason for representing the apps symbolically, we must admit that the measure arouses visual curiosity. The grid background and the meaningful write up gives us the first hand impression of what is there in inside the site.

5. Andersson Wise

Andersson Wise

This is a renowned architecture and design studio in Austin. The professional excellence and creative skills of the firm is distinctly visible in the responsive website that they have created. It is undeniable that we are more inclined towards images than reading the wordy write-ups. This is exactly what the graphic designers at Anderssonwise did! They have chosen pictures for their websites in place of too much of write-ups. The images of different interiors portray the intention of the website. Colors have also been wisely incorporated so that they depict different ambiances.

6. Food Sense

FoodSense

Food sense talks about food and this is exactly is visible in their responsive website. The relevant contents and the corresponding images that team up to make the landing page, justifies the motive of the firm brilliantly. Neatness and simplicity are their primary USPs. You will also be able to see their firm logo at every following page.

7. Buildguild

Buildguild

This website makes use of two weapons to make the site highly responsive; they are bold graphics and a soothing backdrop. So, the landing page is marked by the presence of a pastel blue background. High contrast is set by virtue of the bold fonts that are visible over this lightly colored milieu. Not only does it the website an aesthetic edge, but also makes the write-ups prominently visible against the wisely chosen background.

8. Clean air challenge

cleanAir

This organization operates to arouse consciousness of the masses against air pollution and its fatal effects on the eco system. The striking thing about their website is its multimedia based interface, which grabs attention and gives it a responsive dimension. The moving image at the background is the major USP of the same. It makes a strong statement against air pollution, which is certainly influential for the users. The simple and focused site also provides remedies for combating air pollution.

9. Cacao Trail

CacaoTour

We have to admit that this responsive website is as thrilling and adventure filled as the actual trail is. The dense forestry at the lading page will be the gateway that will take you on a navigational tour to the other picturesque sites on the trail. The navigational links enlarge as you click on them, fitting your mobile or Android screen. But, it is noteworthy to observe that the preceding images make the website acquire the shape of a traditional screen. However, this does not hamper the image quality of the same too much.

10. Glitch

glitch

This is a responsive gaming site that enjoys huge traffic every day due to its clean look and interactive fascia. A white background stuffed with contents, literally leaves no open space. But, it never creates monotony for the users as the scenic background and the Flash and JavaScript features hold the users’ interest in it.

These exemplary responsive web designs are quite inspirational for the brands and organizations and there design studio. They give the professional hint on how to make a website interactive and generate traffic.

The new look design to Google Plus had been rolled out to all users today. User can view only the new look design in Google Plus.

The look of the news stream is also updated. The photos are full bleed and posts are now shown in conversation cards that are better at separating each post.

The new Google Plus is more functional and flexible. Google also introducted a new concept Instead of static icons at the top Google has created a dynamic ribbon of applications on the left, on which users can drag apps up or down.

Now there is a new Hangouts page, which is more accessible. As Google moved the feature into its own app in the navigation ribbon. The page acts as a destination where you can find all hangouts currently in progress.

It actually looks pretty good and easier to work on.
