/> To begin with, the siblings LG Optimus L3, L5 and L7 all look similar with their metal bodies and textured finishes, and feature a “floating mass display” that sits very close to the screen. The L3 features a 3.2-inch display, and will launch in Europe with Gingerbread onboard, this March – an ICS update will apparently follow soon. The LG Optimus L5 bears a 4-inch display, while the Optimus L7 bears a 4.3-inch display. Both devices are expected to launch in Europe in the first half of 2012, with Android 4.0 ICS onboard.

“Most conventional soundbars are bulky and hard-to-place, or thin but unable to deliver lifelike sound,” said RatishPandey, Director Bose India. “The new Lifestyle 135 and CineMate 1 SR systems deliver a powerful audio experience that defies their size and elegant design — whether you’re watching a movie, playing a video game, or listening to music.”
The Lifestyle 135 is the latest addition to the Lifestyle series of Bose home theaters. It comes with the traditional media console (an AV Receiver, put simply) we have seen across this family of home theaters. Six HDMI inputs, a dedicated iPod dock, wireless Acoustimass module (subwoofer, put simply) and soundbar instead of 2 or 5 or 7 speakers spread across the room.
The CineMate 1 SR is a simpler package, and is meant for someone who doesn’t want more than just to improve the sound of the TV. The CineMate 1 SR hooks up directly to the TV’s audio-out ports, via optical, coaxial or the standard AV cable. It doesn’t have a media console, which makes it quite simple to hook up.

Speaking of which, the Lifestyle system also includes the Bose Unify setup system, which offers a step – by – step guide on the TV display to hooking up all the components to the home theater setup.

Both home theaters also have the PhaseGuide sound radiation technology which allows users to place the soundbar close to the TV, and yet get the experience of the 5.1 channel home theater setup, without the wires snaking across the room or the multiple speakers.

The two soundbars also get the FlexMount setup – the soundbar can either be placed facing the listener, or even flat on its back with the speakers actually facing towards the ceiling, without impacting the listening experience. It automatically adjusts the sound with the help of the ADAPTIQ audio calibration system that we have seen in earlier Bose home theaters as well.

The Lifestyle 135 is priced at Rs. 1,79,888 and comes with the WB-135 wall mount kit as a part of the package. The CineMate 1 SR is priced at Rs. 1,12,388 and the wall mount will be available as a separate accessory. These system will be available for purchase at Bose stores, Bose Store-in-store at Croma outlets and Bose India’s website www.boseindia.com. At the event, the company confirmed that these home theaters would be available at all outlets across India within the next 7 days.

This is the first major update available for BlackBerry PlayBook users ever since the tablet has been released last year. Among the most important features available in PlayBook 2.0 OS we can find native email, contacts, and calendar support, direct integration into Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter, support for some Android applications, and better Bridge support.

RIM says that the BlackBerry PlayBook OS 2.0 will give users the possibility to unify inboxes from several work and personal accounts, and to receive messages from Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter. The new contact cards will automatically extract information from the three social websites, while the calendar will also be updated with information from your social media accounts.

The new BlackBerry Bridge application allows users to connect their tablet with their BlackBerry smartphone via Bluetooth, thus giving users the possibility to access the information on their smartphone on a larger screen. You can view photos, edit documents, or browse the web among others. The Bridge app also gives users the ability to use a BlackBerry smartphone as a wireless keyboard or mouse for the PlayBook tablet.

BlackBerry PlayBook OS 2.0 will finally provide mandatory mobile functions like Print-to-go, BlackBerry Balance, a new virtual keyboard with auto-correction and predictive text. Many BlackBerry App World programs will be added today including several Android apps. Along with the thousands of apps, the BlackBerry Video Store will become available today.

If you download BlackBerry PlayBook OS 2.0 then you will also get improved web browsing support.

RIM said that BlackBerry Mobile Fusion will finally be released in “late March.” We’re expecting this app because it give users the ability to manage their BlackBerry smartphones, PlayBook, Android, and iOS devices with ease.

Let us know if downloaded the update, if everything went well, and what do you think about it! Did you get the features you were expecting or you’re planning to buy another tablet because RIM failed you?

The simple and elegant 7.8mm thick body hides a 4.3-inch OLED display with a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels and a dual-core 1GHz OMAP4430 processor. Panasonic Eluga comes pre-loaded with Android 2.3 Gingerbread, but the Japan-based company promised they are working hard to provide the Ice Cream Sandwich update sometime during the summer.

Wearing waterproof and dustproof clothes, the freshly-announced Panasonic Eluga is the company’s first smartphone to sell outside Japan.

Panasonic Eluga weighs in just 103 grams, still, the company’s engineers managed to fit an 8MP camera with autofocus, 8GB of internal flash memory, WiFi and 3G connectivity and NFC support.

The Japanese company hopes to sell not less than 1.5 million Panasonic Eluga units in Europe in the next 12 months.

The plans regarding the launch of the new smartphone were unveiled by Laurent Abadie, Panasonic Europe CEO, at the company’s annual event in Hamburg. Abadie highlighted that the company he runs set the 1.5 million sold units in Europe as goal for the next fiscal year (April 2012 – March 2013).

The Panasonic Eluga comes with “Swipe and Share” technology, compatible with the Panasonic VIERA TV line-up. With a weight of only 103 grams, the device will become one of the lightest Android-powered devices on the European market.

Panasonic Eluga has a D-shaped thin design and measures 123×62,0×7,8mm. It is waterproof and dustproof using IP57 international standard. The device can be used at depths up to 1m for about 30 minutes. It features an incorporated NFC chip that makes it ready for “no touch” interactions and NFC-based payments.

The Swipe and Share technology allows the user to view the pictures stored on their smartphone directly on their VIERA TV or upload them in the cloud. The VieraRemote app will transform your Panasonic Eluga into a remote control for products like VIERA TV, DIGA Blu-ray player and recorder, home cinema systems or digital surveillance cameras in the Panasonic line-up.

Unfortunately, the Japan-based company haven’t revealed the capacity of the Panasonic Eluga’s battery. Panasonic will exhibit their new smartphone at Mobile World Congress 2012, in Barcelona, starting February 27th. The release date of Panasonic Eluga was set for this spring.
<div
