Yup, Polaroid are still alive and kicking, announcing their latest project, the Polaroid XS80 1080p action camera, packing specs that allow it to film in Full 1080p HD at 30fps, as well as a second 720p mode that also shoots in 30fps.

Alongside that the camera shoots at a maximum resolution of 16 megapixels, with a maximum storage of 32GB via a microSD card.

Polaroid also say that the battery should last up to 2.5 hours from a full charge, and can be charged via USB.

To top it off there’s also a HDMI out port and the camera is even waterproof up to 10m (it’s also helmet mountable).

The camera is available in the US today for $130, no idea if it will launch elsewhere however.

There isn’t much to choose from in the Windows 8 Store right now, which may leave some early Surface buyers a little frustrated, however for those who have been waiting, Adobe have finally launched their own app for Windows 8 and RT users, that’s sure to liven up the store a little.

Adobe Photoshop Express launched for Windows 8 and RT users today, completely free it will be supplemented by in-app purchases, much like on iOS you basically pay for more features as you need them.

Designed for touch screens, each batch of features will cost £2.19 for 20 features, there’s also a noise reduction filter pack that includes two modes of adjustment for an extra £3.50.  

The images you chose to edit, can either be loaded from your PC/ tablets in-built storage or from the attached camera/ webcam, or even from the Revel service, which basically lets you sync photos across devices on their cloud based service.

Earlier on today, the digital games store, Green Man Gaming revealed a new DLC pack for SimCity a little too early, and although it was pulled shortly after, EA confirmed the DLC’s release on Twitter, stating:

“Some of you may have seen thrilling new #SimCity content that arrived too early at the gate, it’s coming May 28. We think you’ll be amused.”

And that’s about all we have for official news, however we do know from the leak hat the DLC will be named the Amusement Park Pack, and will feature new amusement park buildings, allowing you to build the “amusement park of your dreams, right in the middle of your city,” or that’s what the description said anyway.

The DLC will include classic, vehicle and thrill rides and will be ploppable in any city you choose.

The DLC will be available from May 28th, but until then you will just have to wait for more information, or just check out the screenshots and source link below.

SamMobile are reporting that Samsung are about to update the Galaxy Tab 3 with an 8 inch TFT display with a 1280×800 resolution, 1.5GHz dual-core  processor, 1.5GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage.

Which could indeed be possible, but for me the 1.5GB of RAM is a little bit of a throw off, being that this is not something that is normally announced with a new device, here’s the full reported specs list:

Vodafone has today announced their latest budget Android handset, the Smart III which packs a 4 inch display with an  800 x 480 pixel resolution, 1GHz processor with 512MB of RAM, 4GB of in-built storage, that can be expanded up to 32GB with a microSD card.

The phone also runs Android Jelly Bean and packs a 5 megapixel camera with LED flash and autofocus, with HD video recording up to 720p, but there’s no front-facing shooter.

The handset is sized at 123.2 x 64.4 x 10.9 and weighs 136g and is available in both black and white from Vodafone’s website, where you can pick up the handset for £95 on Pay as you Go, or free on a 24 month plan from £13 a month.

Archos have just unveiled their latest 3G enabled tablet, the ARCHOS 80 Xenon, which features an 8 inch IPS multi-touch display with a 1024×768 resolution, built-in WiFi and 3G, as well as Google certification, a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Quad-core processor with 1GB of RAM.

The tablet will have full access to the Google Play store, and will be unlocked, accepting a range of SIM cards from around the world.

Other features includes integrated GPS, with a range of pre-installed Media Center Applications with specific ones for video and music playback, the tablet also runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.

There’s also a MicroSD card slot which can expand storage up to 64GB and a 2 megapixel camera on the rear.

The ARCHOS 80 xenon will be available from June 2013 for $199.99, hit up the Archos website for more information.

The first teaser trailer for Batman: Arkham Origins has today been released, showcasing a fight in a snowy environment as well as one of the seven deadly assassins hired to kill Batman.

That assassin being Deathstoke the Terminator, an awesome choice the games developer, Warner Bros. Games Montreal.

You can watch the trailer in the video above, obviously its only a pre-rendered cutscene and not gameplay.

Batman: Arkham Orgins will launch on May 20th 2013 for the PC, Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii U.

The guys over at Cupertino have today revealed its plans to replace their current San Francisco store with a new showcase store design, revealing plans to move to it nine years after the store’s original opening.

The plans have already been submitted to San Francisco’s planning board, moving the store to Stockton and Post on Union Square, replacing the current Levi’s store which will be making its own move this summer.

The new storefront will grant Apple access to 24,819 square feet of space, which is 45% larger than Apple’s current San Francisco store.

In their statement to AllThingsD, Apple said the following:

“We’re thrilled to be working with the city of San Francisco on a new Apple retail store at Union Square, our store on Stockton Street has welcomed over 13 million customers since it opened nine years ago, and we look forward to serving them in an amazing new location when this project is complete.”

However they didn’t reveal any information on when they expect to officially open the store, but have released a couple of mock-ups of the store, revealing its two-floor design, with large glass panels and open floors.

Griffin Technology has today unveiled their latest case for the iPhone 5, dubbed the Survivor Clear, it offers both durability as well a nice design, making it a little more appealing than the usual Survivor case.

As you can probably tell from the name, the Clear features a clear polycarbonate casing with a TPE rubber reinforced edges and corners that makes the case drop proof on a concrete surface from up to 6 foot, the case can also withstand 18 hours of vibration from 20 to 2000 cycles per second.

The Survivor Clear will be available in purple, blue, black, and grey with a blue translucent back from both Griffin’s website and various other retailers for £19.99.

Just after Google’s I/O conference yesterday, Apple have today announced that they have updated iTunes to the new software version, 11.0.3, with a few new features, the main one being a new look for the MiniPlayer.

The MiniPlayer was first introduced iTunes 11 and offers a new smaller way to control music, and with the new version, there’s two new views, an album artwork view and a progress bar view, both of which featured in the image above.

Yesterday Google hosted their 3 hour-long Keynote, livestreaming the event on YouTube during the entire conference, within which we seen a lot of new developer announcements, which was kind of underwhelming as their was no new products to look forward too.

However there is a lot of new features added to their services, including Maps, Google+, Hangouts and the announcement of both the stock version of the Galaxy S4 and the new Google Play Music: All Access music subscription service.

EA have today announced that they will be ending the days of supplying online passes with games, which are basically the cards that allow users to access additional content upon buying a new game, a system which was originally used to try to get more money from those who purchase used titles, as they would then have to pay for this additional content.

The move comes after a lot of the used game industry has shut down, shops like Game being the most effected.

a-Jays have today announced their latest set of earbuds, the new a-jays Five headset which will be available for iOS, Windows Phone and Android devices, and will feature a three button remote control, that will work with all operating systems to perform various tasks.

a-JAYS also say that the new Five series will offer refined sound and a further developed tangle free cable, newly developed cable clip, and updated and optimised ergonomics.

Rumors have been circulating that Google are going to release a new Nexus 7 tablet for some time now, and they may be true, after an official video from Google promoting Google Hangouts, featured what looks to be a new version of the tablet.

Spotted by Cesi D’Alessio, at around the 21 second mark what looks to be the new tablet appears with a notification LED light, which of course isn’t featured in the current model.

Rumored 7 inch with a 1920 x 1200 resolution, alongside which its rumored to include a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor.

Some recently leaked achievements for Crysis 3 have revealed that some new multiplayer DLC may be hitting the game soon.

Although there’s nothing official yet from EA, the achievements that were leaked reveal that they may be getting ready to launch the DLC, leaked Xbox 360 Achievements reveal the following list that’s worth 250G in total.

The achievements are named:

Creek, Crossing, Ascent, and Coastline, Frenzy and Team Possession which are game modes. The list also reveals a new flag mode called Team Possession.
