Thats due to the fact that i have left the IT Filed as a job and working in the Aviation Filed.

The first bionic eye

Doctor Mark Humayun, professor of the ophthalmology and biomedical engineering together with experts from the Doheny Eye Institute, Los Angeles, California initiated the first bionic eye.

Bionic eye consists of a video camera at the dimensions of the haricot bean grain implanted in the eyeball. The camera is connected to an artificial retina, which transmits moving images to the brain by the optic nerve.

The invention gives blind people the ability to see and scientists say that it may be launched in serial production in 3-5 years. Using this invention at the institute where he works, d-r Humayun has already tested the first artificial sight system called Argus.

This gadget is connected to a camera installed in the eyeglasses which catches images that are converted into electric signals which are transmitted by wireless technology to an implant situated behind the retina. Electrodes from the implant decode the signal and create a rudimentary black and white images, transmitted by the optic nerve to the brain.

By now the usage of 10 electrodes has been obtained. Afterwards, at the second stage in is supposed to use 60 electrodes, which offer the patients possibility to see clearer images, but the specialists try to create the third implant with 1000 electrodes, which will offer face recognition.

Evidence for the existence of the Google phone keeps piling up. It's pretty much confirmed though not officially official, between a fairly solid Boston Globe piece and Om Malik's five facts "from a reliable source." The down and dirty:

It's Linux-based, runs Java apps (the entire UI is in Java, as well as possibly the browser), plays multimedia files, and the OS is running on "3-to-5 devices, most of them likely made by HTC." Slightly disappointing is that the UI is "typical of mobiles phones," meaning it's not groundbreaking. But, the browser might be based on the same engine that's in Safari the iPhone (WebKit), and Google's supposedly been tweaking it to make it speedier

25 MHz of spectrum on auction

Federal Communications Commission Chairman Kevin Martin scheduled a vote on rules for another major spectrum auction, one that would encompass 25 megahertz in the 2155-2180 MHz advanced wireless services band and require the winning bidder to offer free broadband service under an aggressive build-out schedule.

“We’ve had a variety of proposals that had come into the commission originally where some people wanted us to give them the spectrum,” said Martin in a briefing with reporters. The FCC chief said a vote may be held at the agency’s upcoming June 12 meeting, but added it is possible the measure could be approved before that date.

Martin said that a licensee of the 2155-2180 MHz spectrum (referred to as the AWS III band) would have to provide a free service tier, and would have to reach 50% of the population in four years and 95% of the population by the end of the license term.

Martin also said the agency will initiate a separate rulemaking on what to do with other AWS frequencies.

The FCC earlier this year auctioned 62 megahertz of 700 MHz spectrum, raising almost $20 billion.

It is unclear whether the FCC would hold the AWS III auction later this year, and if that auction will affect the agency’s plans to re-auction of the 700 MHz D Block. The D Block — whose rules currently call for a public safety-private sector partnership via a national license — was not claimed in the 700 MHz auction because no bidder met the $1.3 billion reserve price.

Interestingly, Martin’s plans for the AWS III spectrum draw on the free wireless broadband access proposal first advocated by M2Z Networks Inc. The FCC dismissed M2Z’s application for spectrum, and the company subsequently challenged the FCC ruling in federal appeals court.

Meantime, Reps. Anna Eshoo (D-Calif.) and Christopher Cannon (R-Utah) are pushing a bill to foster deployment of a national, family-friendly wireless broadband network with open access. Their bill envisions one auction of airwaves in the 2155-2180 MHz band and another auction involving yet-to-be-determined spectrum below 3 GHz.

The mobile phone industry generally opposes conditions on spectrum auctioned by the FCC.

Also slated for action at the June 12 meeting is expected dismissal of Skype Ltd.’s petition to mandate an open-access rule for all mobile-phone and other commercial wireless spectrum. Martin also said the FCC will hold a hearing on early termination fees on June 12, a move that follows unsuccessful efforts by the FCC chairman and Verizon Wireless to find common ground on a national policy governing charges of $175 and more levied on consumers that break service contracts.

Nationwide text message alert system approved

WASHINGTON - Federal regulators Wednesday approved a plan to create a nationwide emergency alert system using text messages delivered to cell phones.
Text messages have exploded in popularity in recent years, particularly among young people. The wireless industry's trade association, CTIA, estimates more than 48 billion text messages are sent each month.
The plan stems from the Warning Alert and Response Network Act, a 2006 federal law that requires upgrades to the nation's emergency alert system. The act tasked the Federal Communications Commission with coming up with new ways to alert the public about emergencies.

Every Click you make and every site you visit, Your ISP (Internet Services Provider) knows about it, logs it and than harvests it.

What do they use it for ? Is it for security reasons ?!

Well they use it to send you advertisement.

When they collect the websites that you visit they can tell your hobbies or what you mostly look for on the internet, that way they can send you specific advertisement.

According to Forrester Research Enterprises are starting to love FireFox more than IE7.Enterprises are still using IE6 and not many of them have updated to IE7 instead they started to use FireFox.

In my opinion IE7 is not an evolution for Internet Explorer, When I first saw IE7 the first thing that I noticed were the TAB’s system, And I said to myself : Hey that’s just like FireFox WTF !!!

And I looked no further into IE7 just installed it on a PC at work and that’s all.
The reason that I like FireFox is because it does not use allot of the system resources and it’s light and above all it loads the pictures the last thing. Some will say IE can do that, I don’t know if it can or not but I like FireFox and I’m not going to switch to IE.

MacBook Air hacked under 2 min

At CanSecWest security conference's MacBook Air laptop was hacked under 2 minutes, the first day the contestants were not allowed to touch it (no physical access) on the 2nd day however they were granted physical access to it.

Miller was the winner, he went home with: Sony Vaio, Fujitsu U810, and the MacBook plus 10,000$ as his prize.

I remember back in the days when the 1 GB hard drive first came out i was like : WOW, 1 GB what am i gona put on all that space.... Well that was back in the days when we only had P1 computer.

That was a past era. Now we have the 1 TB hard drive. Western Digital has released this 1 TB.
1TB of capacity allows for storage of approximately 75 hours of uncompressed DV digital video, the equivalent of 212 4.7GB DVD video discs or up to 250,000 MP3 files.

All who have a pirated version of windows vista must have been trying so many different cracks, and almost non of them work, you can't update. but here is a tool that will embed the OEM keys of vista versions that are on Acer, HP, Lenovo laptops.

Will microsoft be able to block those keys ? well if they did they would block all the people who have the original vista that came with there laptops.

How to Crack a "Master Lock" Combination Lock

Steps :

1-Look for the Master Lock brand. This method only works with Master Lock combination locks, and may not work with all of them. It is rumored that Master Lock changed the combination algorithm on some of the newer locks, in particular those with serial numbers starting with the number 800.

2-Turn the lock’s dial clockwise to zero. It is a good idea to turn it at least three rotations first, just to make sure it’s clear.

3-Apply steady tension to the shackle and turn the dial clockwise. The shackle is the u-shaped part of the lock that goes around whatever you’re locking. To apply tension you can either pull the shackle up while holding the lock, or you can pull the lock down if the shackle is locked onto something solid. Turn the dial slowly as you apply tension. If you can’t turn the dial at all, release the shackle and turn the dial clockwise just a number or two and then try it again.

4-Find the first sticking point.

As you turn the dial clockwise with tension on the shackle, you will come to a point where you can’t turn the dial anymore. Make note of where it stops. Sometimes it will stick right on the numbers, but sometimes it will be between the numbers. If so, record the number to the half (e.g. 22.5, 7.5, etc.).

While continuing to apply tension to the shackle, turn the dial as far left (counter-clockwise) as you can. Make note of where it stops. Now you have a sticking "range."

Determine the sticking point by finding the number that's in the midpoint of the sticking range. A range of 4 and 5 would have a sticking point of 4.5. A range of 22.5 and 23.5 would have a sticking point of 23.
5-Release shackle tension and turn the dial slightly past the sticking point. Turn the dial clockwise about one number from the sticking point in order to allow you to "escape" that sticking point.
6-Reapply tension to the shackle and continue turning the dial clockwise to find all the sticking points. You should find a total of twelve sticking points in one complete turn of the dial. Write them down.
7-Find the third number of the combination.

Look at your list of sticking points and eliminate all those which are not whole numbers (i.e. cross off any number that ends in .5). You should eliminate 7 of the 12 numbers with this step.

Of the remaining sticking points, choose the one with the unique digit in the "ones" position. Four of the remaining five numbers will share the same number in the "ones" place, so for example, if the numbers left on the list are 4, 14, 24, 27, and 34, the number 27 is the only one which does not have a four in the "ones" place. This is the third number of the combination.

8-Find the magic number. Divide the third number of the combination (27 in this case) by four and write down the remainder. In this case 27/4 = 6 remainder 3. Remember we are only concerned with the remainder, which will always be 0, 1, 2, or 3. Write down the magic number (3 in this example).

9-Find the possible first numbers of the combination. Add 4 to the magic number (3). Write down the result (7). Now add 4 to that and continue adding 4 to each resulting sum until you have gone completely around the dial once. Write down each of these numbers. Thus, for the example above the numbers would be 3, 7, 11, 15, 19, 23, 27, 31, 35, and 39. One of these numbers is the first number of the combination.
10-Find the possible second numbers in the combination. If your magic number is 0 or 1 then add 2 to it, otherwise subtract 2. Since our example magic number is 3, we subtract 2 and get 1. Write down the answer and add 4 to it. Now add 4 to each resulting sum until you have gone completely around the dial once. Thus, in the example, the numbers would be 1, 5, 9, 13, 17, 21, 25, 29, 33, and 37. One of these numbers is the second number in the combination.
11-Cross out the numbers (the possible 2ND numbers) Plus or Minus 2 [25 & 29] from the third number of the combination[27].

12-Figure out the correct combination by trial and error. You now know all the possible first numbers [3, 7, 11, 15, 19, 23, 27, 31, 35, 39], all the possible second numbers [1, 5, 9, 13, 17, 21, 25, 29, 33, 37], and the third number [27]. You’ve just narrowed down 64,000 combinations to only 80. Now try each combination until you find the correct one. If you’re lucky, you may need to try only a few but then again, you may need to try all 80.

Tips :

If you’re in a hurry, you don’t need to calculate the possible first and second numbers yourself. Once you’ve figured out the third number, you can save time by using a special computer application to determine all the possible combinations.

10-Wi-Fi Detector Laptop Case - Useful Combination:

Why would I want to have a Wi-Fi detector on my laptop bag?If I want to use wireless while I'm using the laptop I will scan with the laptop wireless card, not look at the bag which is on the ground to see if there is a wireless connection.

9- Book lover's cave:

Ok so I love to read, not all people do but I can spend like 5 hours just reading a book.
But dose this mean that I'm going to go and sit in the book shelf and read a book?
Or would I sit in a comfortable chair and read the book, or even lay down in bed and read it?

8- Mobile Phone Blocking Bag:

This bag blocks all the signals to your mobile which makes t out of coverage, I don’t know why would someone want to make there mobile out of coverage and keep it on in the same time. What good is it out of coverage and its turned on? I mean you wont be able to make / receive calls or even SMS or MMS or any other things you do with your mobile. If you don’t want to be called, or receive anything just turn it off, that’s what the turn off mobile button is for.

7- Eye Massager :

All who use computers for a long time, know that every once in a while should look at something else other than the monitor to relax your eye, and when our eyes pain, we just rub them with our fingers, right?

WORNG, apparently there are people that are to lazy to rub there own eye, and prefer to hold something to rub it for them, such as this eye massager…

6- Sideways Bike:

So you like to ride a bike and cycle around. Are you tired of the normal way to drive a bike ? well you can cycle sideways, despite that fact that it makes no common sense why would someone want to cycle sideways, you will stick out from the crowd of other bikers, every one will look at you cycling sideways, and wonder : WTF !!

Almost every one when they were small they had the yellow rubber duck, and they use to play with it while they were taking a bath. But are you board that the duck just floats around like a non living thing? Get the Remote Controlled Rubber Duck.

As most people know Cult of the Dead Cow ( cDc ) has released a google scanner. What this scanner dose is that it search's for Vulnerabilities in websites using the power of google search engine.

This tool as any other tool if used correctly it would be good, But most people will use it to deface and hack websites. You will say now : So people are doing that for a long time, what's new ?!

I'll tell you what's new, before people use to target specific sites and search within that site for a bug or a Vulnerabilities in it, But now with this tool, it will search in all the sites that are indexed by google. The bigger risk is that almost if not all websites on the internet are indexed and listed in google search engine.

So now the treat is wider, and it won't be a target specific, it will be random.
The fear is not from the people who are experts in defacing websites, its in the ones that don’t know anything such as script kiddies it will be chaos, all the want to be and the ones who want to impress there girlfriends or friends will be hacking and slashing websites.

I'm not saying all that so people will freak out and go around yelling: hacked, hacked.
And some will say that google is the evil big brother if he did not have such great search engine non of this would have happened. That’s just wrong. EVERY single item or thing in this world can be used in 2 ways, the good way and the bad way.
