var s = document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0]; s.parentNode.insertBefore(ga, s);
  })();

Employers do not always approve of employees accessing Facebook while on the job. If you work for a company that does not like employees getting on Facebook, it does not necessarily mean that you cannot get on the site. Although it may not be good for your career in the long term, other options are available for getting on the site when your employer puts a block on your social networking efforts through Facebook. You simply need to get a little more creative to gain access.

1.Use a service that emails entire Web pages to an email address. For example, EmailTheWeb.com is a service that allows you to enter the URL of any Web page into a box and enter an email address; it then emails that page to the appropriate email. You need to know the URL of the Facebook page you want to look at, but this option can work.
2.Utilize a proxy server to access Facebook. A proxy server is a website that allows you to access other sites through another server. This way, to your computer it simply looks like you are visiting the proxy server website. While on the proxy, you have the ability to navigate to Facebook.
3.Type the IP address of Facebook into your browser. Depending on the program that your employer is using to block Facebook, it may simply block certain URLs. By typing the IP address into the Web browser, it could pull up the website. Facebook actually uses several IP addresses. Using an IP lookup site can help you find the IP address that you need.
4.Subscribe to certain pages on Facebook with really simple syndication, or RSS. Certain Facebook Walls allow you to subscribe to them through RSS. Then when you want to access them, open your RSS reader and you should be able to see the latest updates.

I hope you find it very helpful.

Problem with the HP Pavilion a1410n PC Desktop

Roof top a/c not cooling. when open area where the air filter is I saw a wire(with male pug in) dangling not plugged in. it goes to a box labeled "freeze"
should this be plugged in? Where?

Solution:
Ends of that wire(s) should have a probe on one end, and connector on the other. Plug connector in to control box where it matches, then stick the other end in to coils about 3" up from bottom of coils/fins. You may have to push and wiggle a bit but allow it to slide in between the fins, and insert until most or all of probe is inserted. You may even see old location if you look close with flashlight, and just re-insert it there. That senses frost at bottom of evaporator and will shut down compressor to allow unit to defrost if it freezes up for any reason. The end opposite the connector may also have a round disc like sensor that has a clip on back to snap on to evaporator tubing , usually in lower left corner, again look for old location.
That really shouldn't stop it from cooling in your case. Do you hear compressor kick in, and are you getting any cooling at all? Do you have model number off bottom of roof unit? What type of thermostat are you using?

Problem with the Canon BJC S400 / CanoScan N650U InkJet Printer

I do not think that your printer will work with Windows 7, many printers and most scanners do not work on later OS. Here is the drivers site for Canon and I do not see 7 listed, so likely not able to run under 7....http://www.canon.ca/inetCA/serviceDetail?m=load&id=3&sid=18&mid=2000060&type=D&opt=1

Problem with the HTC 7 Trophy Cell Phone

There are many reasons why a dehumidifier willnot work or collect water.
Here is a tip that I wrote to help people to figure out what is going wrongwith their dehumidifier

Problem with the Intertherm P3RA-048K Air Conditioner

We have a hvac Nordyne model P3RA-048K
Either the filter is clogged and needs to be repaced.Or check the coil inside the unit and see if it is getting iced up.You can try shutting the unit down for an hour or raising the temp.If this helps the motor speed then you know the coil was iced up.
It is also possible the motor may be going bad, doubtfull though since they will run for a while then shut off.
Check your filter
Check for ice
Possibly clean the inside coil.

Problem with the 2005 Suzuki Boulevard C90

How do I check the alternator/rectifier myself. You're going to want to find the Haynes manual for your bike online (may take some searching...if you can't find one, I'll help you look)
You'll want a multi-meter with settings for Volts, Ohms, and diode/continuity testing.
Most standard multi-meters have these functions, and are easily and cheaply obtained from places like home hardware, the source, radio shack, etc.
Test the components using the known values and tolerances as outlined in the manual.
If you find this manual, MAKE BACKUP COPIES...it will be your best friend for as long as you own the bike!

Problem with the Toshiba Satellite A25-S279 (PSA20U-0CH43V) PC Notebook

While trying to install PATA 250GB HD (XP Pro) only 130GB recognized. Solution:
According to the detailed specs on that model, it came with a 60GB ATA-5 EIDI hard drive. therefore, you can use any ATA compatible (ATA-5, ATA-6 or ATA-100) EIDE/IDE drive that has jumpers enabling you to configure the drive as "Master". Western Digital Blue Scorpio and Seagate Momentus lines both have models that will fit the bill. You can find those drives at your neighborhood BestBuy or Staples pretty easily. I don't know if the A25 BIOS supports 48-bit logical block addressing (LBA), in spite of what toshiba says, If it only supports 24-bit LBA the maximum drive size is 137GB. If it supports 48-bit LBA then you can go as high as you can find drives available; usually 500GB. I suspect that it supports 48-bit LBA because various online vendors list up to 250GB drives for that model. The most important thing about the drive, though, is that it MUST be jumperable as 'master'. A cable select only drive won't work. Both the Western Digital and Seagate EIDE models have jumpers.

Problem with the Frigidaire GLEQ2152ES Electric Dryer

BOUGHT USED DRYER OPERATED ABOUT A MONTH WITH NO PROBLEM THEN ONE DAY PUSHED START BUTTON AND RIGHTS ON RIGHT SIDE OF DRYER BLINKED AND NO START..HAVE CHECKED ELECTRIC TO HOME IS OK..PULLED VENT OFF AND NO OBSTRUCTIONS..CHECKED THERMOSTAT AND LIMITOR WITH OHM METER SEEMS TO BE OK.
The lithium battery is solely to retain the contents of the memory while you change the AAA batteries. If you don't care about retaining the memory, you don't need the lithium battery. You do, however, need the AAA batteries to use the calculator.

Problem with the Operating Systems

I was advised to put a password on my computer. So I did.I acidently shut it down without writing it down and now I cant acsess my puter.
