program designed to copy and move files at the maximum possible speed, providing the user a lot of features:

Copy files faster. TeraCopy uses dynamically adjusted buffers to reduce seek times. Asynchronous copy speeds up file transfer between two physical hard drives.

Pause and resume file transfers. Pause copy process at any time to free up system resources and continue with a single click.

Error recovery. In case of copy error, TeraCopy will try several times and in the worse case just skips the file, not terminating the entire transfer.

Interactive file list. TeraCopy shows failed file transfers and lets you fix the problem and recopy only problem files.

Shell integration. TeraCopy can completely replace Explorer copy and move functions, allowing you work with files as usual.

Full Unicode support.

Windows 7 x64 support.

Download TeraCopy – Free for Home Users

TeraCopy Homepage

Tags: TeraCopy, Windows shell integration, Error recovery

Psystar releases Snow Leopard on Pc!

Psystar said on Thursday that its Rebel EFI suite is available for download from its Web site. Easy WiFi Radar helps you find and connect to open wireless access points with a single mouseclick. It's WiFi for Dummies. This video shows how you can use Easy WiFi Radar to get wireless broadband connections for free.

If you have ever tried to use Windows XP's built-in connection manager, you know what a hassle it can be to quickly check your mail or browse the web on the go. You need to browse through a list of access points, find one that you can connect to, manually try to connect to it, confirm the connection and then wait. Even if it says that's it connected, often it doesn't open a webpage or you mail will stall.

Easy WiFi Radar automates all of this. It's main goal is to let you get your mail or surf the web without having to go through all of the connection trouble, and without having to pull your creditcard. Just run it and it'll connect you for FREE to the internet. It doesn't get easier than this.

Tags: Easy Wifi Radar, Free Wireless Internet

MSI X58 Eclipse Plus with NF200!

MSI announces the master piece within its X58 mainboards supporting the latest Intel® Core i7 processor: MSI Eclipse Plus. It is based on Intel® X58 Express chipset and offers exclusive MSI features enabling a high performance beyond your imagination: 2nd generation MSI DrMOS and APS technology. Furthermore, a new Split Thermal Heatpipe design and the next generation solid caps called Hi-c CAP for maximum lifespan. The MSI OC Dial and Easy Buttons make it very easy to overclock to extreme levels. Furthermore, the mainboard comes with a NF200 chip, supporting true quad SLI and Quad CrossFireX in a unique 16/16/16/4 formation.

MSI DrMOS and APS
For highest performance and power efficiency, MSI Eclipse Plus is equipped with the 2nd generation, true 6-phase MSI DrMOS power design and APS (Active Phase Switching). The board is very power efficient as MSI APS switches the phases of the CPU and also of the QPI, chipset and memory. Besides this it is the only OS independent power saving system on the market.

Quad SLI and Quad CrossFireX support
MSI Eclipse Plus comes with the nvidia NF200 chip to enable 4 PCI-E x16 connectors running at 16 / 16 / 16 / 4 speed. These four slots enable full speed 3-Way SLI setups and Quad SLI. On top of that users can now enjoy the maximum bandwidth possible running true Quad CrossfireX.

Hi-c CAP’s
For the best stability and longest lifespan, MSI Eclipse Plus is equipped with the next generation Solid Capacitor called Highly-conductive polymerized Capacitors (Hi-c caps). This features ensures high voltage derating and they resistant to high temperatures.

MSI OC Dial
Experienced users can boost the performance of MSI Eclipse Plus to extreme levels with help of MSI OC Dial. This special overclocking feature enables real-time overclocking and downclocking of the CPU clockspeed manually. Just turn the OC Dial en start breaking overclock records.

Split Thermal Design
The new heatpipe on the MSI Eclipse Plus is a split thermal cooling. This new cooling prevents the chipset to transfer any heat to the cool running DrMOS PWM. To emphasize the new special heatpipe design MSI Eclipse Plus has a new stunning colour scheme. Since the heat pipe is attached with metal screws to the PCB, it can be easy remove for the extreme liquid nitrogen overclockers.

Improved BIOS
MSI has improved its BIOS a lot with the help of renowned overclockers. New BIOS features have been added such as CPU Specification and M-Flash. MSI’s M-Flash is the world’s first BIOS feature allowing a second BIOS booting up from USB. Users can test-drive the new BIOS before actually flashing it.

Creative X-Fi Audio Hardware
MSI is the only one who bundles the real Creative X-FI audio hardware with their high-end mainboards. The Creative X-Fi audio hardware decoder chip enables the highest quality multi-channel surround sound.

MSI GreenPower Genie
MSI GreenPower Genie can be placed between the power supply and MSI Eclipse Plus mainboard. It is connected via the System Management Bus and can detect real-time 12V, 5V and 3.3V. The voltages are displayed in the BIOS, MSI GreenPower Center software and D-LED 2. It is the only system that real-time shows the true power values and system’s efficiency.

MSI Drive Booster
It is very easy to double your HDD performance with the all new MSI Drive Booster. This feature is OS independent too, which allows you to double improve the RAID speed. MSI Drive booster is easy to use, just plug & play.

Us price: $358.00
<br the best FREE video Pinball tables in development today! Dark Quest with its holographics is amazing! The videos really don't give them justice! You must play the tables yourself to experience the artwork of these fine tables! Better have a pretty good Cpu and Gpu to even run DarkQuest! If you can't run DARK QUEST the first time, turn off run table in editor and it should work! 3 Angels and Big Spender are really good too. There are many great tables the vids I posted are just few of the newer ones. I messed around with these a few years ago and was surprised to find out all kinds of new updates and tables. The developers continue to improve the programs.

Vpinmame also has a new version of their pinball 2.0, Vpinmame actually emulates the backboard dot matrix of the real pinball machine as they were in the arcade in the 70s and 80s and even the newer tables of the 90s and 2000s. Visual Pinball is the table part, Witch runs side by side with Vpinmame. I recommend if you are new to Vpinmame to use this file below by Pheonixx that does all the work for you except add the tables and roms where you can find below:

Author: Phoenixx
Version: 8.1_2.1+NT
Filesize: 14.80 MB

Download

HyperSpin is an animated arcade frontend for Windows for use on Home Arcade Machines. Or a really cool looking HTPC. HyperSpin allows you to create custom menu systems to run most executables with that arcade look and feel. HyperSpin takes a more artwork oriented approach to creating menu's. With this tool you should be able to make interesting menu's for your games, movies ect..

Best Arcade frontends:
What is the Conficker Worm?

Microsoft released an update in October to resolve a critical security hole in the Windows "Server" service. Since people aren't as diligent about patching as they should be, hackers created a new worm that spread like wildfire, leaving systems completely under their control. Security researchers have determined that the virus is expected to go "live" on April 1st, 2009, causing your computer to do bad things—but since the worm uses a P2P protocol it's nearly impossible to identify the source.

How Does It Spread?

The worm originally started spreading using a network attack against the file sharing services in Windows, but since it can automatically update itself, it adapted to spread through the autoplay feature on removable media like USB thumb drives, by adding a new option to open where you see "publisher not specified". This allows the worm to spread to systems already patched against the original vulnerability, so using anti-virus software is even more important, because once it's on your computer it can spread further.

Exerpt from LifeHacker

More Info:
Microsoft
Fsecure
Symantech

Removal Tool Download:
Downadup Removal Tool - Symantec approved download.

The POV1.5 and The POV.T Hands Free Cam!

The POV.1.5 and POV.T are built to capture hands-free video from your Point-of-View. Anyone can fly to Hawaii vicariously and see the real Hawaiian islands, not just the mountain tops that poke through the ocean’s surface. You can swim with whales, inspect coral reefs, or see the impacts of destructive fishing. Anyone now can slip into the sea and find hundreds of images of creatures and see them on their own terms, underwater. Now, you can dive to the deepest place in the ocean, the Mariana Trench, where only two people have ever actually been – in 1960.

Open the "Ocean" folder in the Layers panel to explore the 20 content layers from over 100 partners. Double click on the “Explore the Ocean” layer and it will fly you to my Ocean Overview video and ten focus areas with National Geographic video clips. Other layers include dynamic sea surface temperature, Census of Marine Life data, Marine Protected Areas, shipwrecks, dive and surf sites, Arkive images, Planet Earth footage from the BBC, and much more. You can even visit a 3D model of the undersea laboratory Aquarius and fly to the Titanic and follow the expedition that discovered it.

Google LatLong: A deep dive into the ocean in Google Earth

Tags: New Google Earth 5.0, Ocean view google earth

Open Source Freebie Portable Keepass Ultimate Password Security!

I have been looking for that perfect password database program for quite sometime now. So after I saw Keypass on just about every website and blog on the internet and getting excellent reviews! I decided to download the portable edition and give it a try. I was absolutley impressed its one of those must have programs in my list now! If you are saving your passwords in Firefox that is VERY unsafe! Firefox has an addon that imports all your passwords from Firefox to Keypass in a click of a mouse! A new KeePass plug-in called ClockWork's Firefox to KeePass Importer was since developed specifically for this purpose. All you need to do is install the Firefox to Keepass Converter plug-in and the KeePass XML Import plug-in. It's still a multi-step process, but it's better than the old alternative and the developer has detailed instructions.

Download the newest portable version here:

http://downloads.sourceforge.net/keepass/KeePass-2.06-Beta.zip

KeePass database stores all your passwords inside of it in an encrypted state, and uses one master password and/or a key-file to access that database. KeePass has fields for username, password, URL and notes associated with each login, and you can create login groups (like, Windows, web sites, Wifi networks) to organize your passwords. KeePass is highly secure; if you keep it running, it will lock its workspace after a certain amount of idle time and require you enter the master password again to access the database.

Check this post at Lifehacker for several helpfull posts on Keypass! It may seem a bit complicated at first but once you set it up and tune it to your preferences its an amazing tool!
All in all Keypass is the ultimate password database to store all your private information for worry free computing!

Tags: Keypass, Free open source password database, password encryption

Portable Tor highly anonymous browsing!

PortableTor allows you to connect into the Tor anonymous internet system from any computer with your flash or thumb drive. Everyone has one. It's their little "home" on the Internet. So why shouldn't you have one as well?

And then you realize, why don't I? Because they cost $10 a year.
So then everyone has a free so-called "webhost", who cover your site with unwanted ads and your website is located in a subdomain (i.e. xxxxxx.freewebhosting.com ), which looks unprofessional.

But here's the solution: Get a FREE co.cc domain name. Your new website will be at xxx.co.cc, meaning it'll look like a professional, PAID domain. When someone gets to your co.cc site, they'll get directed to the website of your choice.

You'll also get to create your own 7GB "xxx@xxx.co.cc" email accounts (with Google Apps) for free!

But wait, what's the advantages of using co.cc?

Free Domain FOR LIFE - No more Expiring domains

Full DNS control (Something that only paid domains have)

Full Zone Records Control (CNAME, A, NS and MX records)

http://www.co.cc/

Via - http://joshl2.blogspot.com/

Tags: Adfree Webhost, Co.cc, Free Domain For Life

Top Motherboards for Core i7 965 Extreme 2008 - 2009!

The Foxconn Blood Rage!

<img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; There are also sub-categories, so within “Programming” you can browse users who list PHP, Ruby on Rails, or another programming skill in their bio. RSS feeds are also offered for each category and sub-category.

Beyond directory browsing, you can enter in specific search terms to find people listing certain interests. For example, search for “social media” and you may recognize the first two people in the results: Chris Brogan and Jeff Pulver.

By default, search results are sorted by number of followers, but you can also filter them by most recent activity. You can further drill down by searching within a specific category, for example, searching for “Yahoo” under the “Tech Companies” category lists many who still call themselves employees of the search engine.

So far, my Twitter experience has mostly revolved around adding friends and interesting people I come across on blogs, or simply re-following those that follow me. Twellow allows you to be proactive about finding new and interesting people to follow, and does a great job of presenting the results.

Much like Summize, who has built an excellent topical Twitter search, Twellow has built a compelling people search and social networking front-end – both features Twitter may have been better served to build on their own.

Meanwhile, if you don’t yet find yourself in the Twellow directory, you can add yourself by going here. You may also want to re-think what you list in your Twitter bio to make it easier for people to find you.

News Via - http://mashable.com/

Tags: Twellow, Twitter search, social networking, people search
