Twitter is preparing a major new version of its iPhone app, which
will include an interactive tweet view, enhanced notifications and more,
9to5Mac reports.
The info comes through leaked release notes which bring a detailed list of all the new features in the next Twitter for iPhone version, 4.3.
These include a more interactive tweet view experience, letting you
see content previews, videos and images within tweets containing links
to “partner websites,” as well as the ability to choose whether you want
to receive push notifications when certain people tweet.
Other improvements include highlighted tweets about selected events,
autocomplete in the Connect tab, and the ability to tap someone’s avatar
and be taken to their profile pages.
The time of launch for this update is unknown, and some of the features may change when it actually hits the App Store

Microsoft Surface: Full Review

After all those in-depth speculations, Microsoft's finally unveiled its chic tablet, Surface.
The software giant has made its presence felt for the past three
decades, crafting ingenious software for computing, but this is the
first tablet that it has ever built. Microsoft was a late entrant into
the mobile world that had just two powerful entities – Apple and
Android. Microsoft’s initial smartphones didn’t get much love and the
company had begun to lose ground in the mobile terrain. The company
bounced back with the tiled Windows Phone UI, and then made the big
announcement of Windows 8, which would offer seamless experience for
various platforms, like smartphones, tablets and desktops.

Design
Microsoft displayed the Surface for Windows
RT, featuring a classy and chic look. The Surface for Windows 8 Pro is
said to feature the same design, but it will be a tad thicker and
heavier. The casing of Surface has been created using a unique approach,
called VaporMg (pronounced Vapor-Mag), a combination of material
selection and process to mould metal and deposit particles that creates a
finish akin to a luxury watch. This finish helps the tablet exhibit a
premium look and feel. Both tablets go beyond the existing screen sizes,
and brings a large screen experience with displays measuring 10.6-inch.
Both feature a high-res, 16:9 ClearType screen. It has edges angled at
22 degrees, a natural position for the PC at rest or in active use,
letting the hardware fade into the background and the software stand
out. The Surface for Windows RT is 9.3mm slim and weighs 676 grams,
while the Surface for Windows 8 Pro is a tad heavy at 903 grams and
13.5mm in thickness. Moreover, Microsoft has also added in the integral
kickstand that adds viewing convenience. It is has been integrated using
the VaporMg and is a part of the device without adding external bulk.

Research in Motion, along with Porsche Design has launched the new P’9981
luxury smartphone in India today. Research in Motion, of course is
known for making business smartphones and also the PlayBook tablet.
They’ve joined hands with Porsche Design to make this phone. While it’s
been out for a while in other countries, it’s finally landed in India
now. There’s some powerful hardware under the hood of this new P’9981
smartphone. Qualcomm’s MSM8655 SoC powers this design, it’s powered by a
1.2GHz processor with 768 MB of RAM at its disposal. There’s 8GB of
storage space and that can be expanded right upto 32GB using a microSD
card.

The 2.8-inch touchscreen has a resolution of 640x360 with a pixel pitch
of 298PPI. There’s a 5MP camera built into the back of the phone and it
supports 720p video recording as well - there’s also a flash.
Controlling the interface is done using the optical trackpad and the 35
keys on the hardware keyboard are backlit. There’s 3G connectivity as
well as dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11n capability. The phone runs BlackBerry OS

media across Nokia tablets and smartphones. By the looks of it, Symbian
Belle is the OS destined to receive Nokia Air first.

Curiously, the video also showcases a couple of
really cool looking devices: a Symbian-running tablet, smartphone and a
mini-slider phone. They'll probably continue their lives as concepts,
but if Nokia manages to actually deliver Air by the time Nokia World
rolls around this Fall, it'll draw a breath of fresh air for Symbian
Belle users.Check out the promo video.

iOS 6 gives you more features to make the things you
do every day even better. It’s coming this fall, and it’s free and easy
to upgrade wirelessly on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch — the moment
it’s available.

MAPS -maps takes a whole new turn

Beautifully designed from the ground up (and the sky down), Maps will change the way you see the world.1
Map elements are vector based, so graphics and text are incredibly
detailed — even when you zoom all the way in — and panning is smooth.
Tilt and rotate to view an area, and Maps keeps the names of streets and
places where they belong. Get visual and spoken turn-by-turn navigation
and real-time traffic updates. Even soar over cityscapes to see the
sights from the air in amazing, high-resolution quality. Learn more about Maps

SIRI -now ask even more of siri

With iOS 6, Siri understands more languages, works in more countries, and is available on the new iPad.2
So you can get more things done in more places around the world. Want
to know the latest scores and stats for your favorite teams and players?
Thanks to iOS 6, Siri knows the answers. Or maybe it’s movie night.
Siri can show you the latest reviews and showtimes. Find the best
restaurants in town and make reservations. Even open your apps for you —
no tapping required. Say "Launch Flight Tracker" or "Open Where’s My
Water" and Siri does just that. You can even use Siri to post Facebook
updates and tweet for you, too. Learn more about Siri in iOS 6

FACEBOOK - integrated throughout ios

Now it’s easier than ever to interact with the world’s largest social
network. And there’s no need to leave your app to do it. Share a photo
to Facebook right from Camera or Photos. Post your location right from
Maps. Brag about a high score right from Game Center. If you have your
hands full, just ask Siri to post for you. You need to sign in to
Facebook only once, and you’ll be off and sharing. Never miss another
birthday or get-together, since Facebook events are integrated into
Calendar. And your Facebook friends’ profile information is integrated
into Contacts, so when they update an email address or phone number you
automatically stay up to date. Now that’s something to post about.

Learn more about facebook in iOS 6

Shared Photo Streams -share select photos with select audience

Now you can share just the photos you want, with just the people you
choose. Simply select photos from the Photos app, tap the Share button,
choose who you want to share your photos with, and they’re on their way.
Friends using iCloud on an iOS 6 device or a Mac running Mountain Lion
get the photos delivered immediately in the Photos app or iPhoto.3
You can even view shared photo streams on Apple TV. If the folks you're
sharing with aren’t using an Apple device, they can view your photos on
the web. People can like individual photos and make comments. And you
can share as much as you want: Your shared photo streams don’t count
against your iCloud storage, and they work over Wi-Fi and cellular
networks.Learn more about Shared photo streams in iOS 6

Passbook -just the ticket

Your boarding passes, movie tickets, retail coupons, loyalty cards, and
more are now all in one place. With Passbook, you can scan your iPhone
or iPod touch to check in for a flight, get into a movie, and redeem a
coupon. You can also see when your coupons expire, where your concert
seats are, and the balance left on that all-important coffee bar card.
Wake your iPhone or iPod touch, and passes appear on your Lock screen at
the appropriate time and place — like when you reach the airport or
walk into the store to redeem your gift card or coupon. And if your gate
changes after you’ve checked in for your flight, Passbook will even
alert you to make sure you’re not relaxing in the wrong terminal.

Facetime

FaceTime now works over cellular networks as well as Wi-Fi, so you can
make and receive FaceTime calls wherever you happen to be.4
You can even make and receive FaceTime calls on your iPad using your
phone number. That means you can use FaceTime wherever you are, on any
device. And never miss another wink, smile, air kiss, or eye roll.

Huge news came out of the Facebook universe with little to no warning: Facebook has launched its own camera app. Seemingly out of nowhere, the social networking giant has launched its own “Facebook Camera”
camera app that, of course, connects directly to your Facebook account,
making it that much easier to take, upload, tag, and comment on your
photos.

The app also comes loaded with a few features to make it even more
useful: You can crop, rotate and add filters to any picture in your
camera roll in app (Instagram inspired anyone?). It also all but
replaces the regular Facebook app for those people who only use Facebook
for photos by offering a “news feed” that shows only pictures as its
home page. No more status updates, if all you’re using Facebook for is
uploading and looking at pictures, you may stop using the regular app
all together.
Needless to say this is pretty big news in the world of camera apps,
news that probably has some app developers groaning right about now. For
more information on the app click here to grab it straight from the app store

Sony Xperia S To Get ICS By Early June

After being criticized for launching a flagship phone in 2012 with
Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS, Sony is all set to roll out the much needed
Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update for its flagship smartphone Xperia
S.
According to official Sony Xperia Support,
the ICS update on Xperia S will hit the phones by late May or early
June. As always the update will not rolled out to all phones overnight
but will be gradually updated. With the release of ICS on Xperia S we expect Sony to release ICS
updates for other 2012 Xperia series phones like Xperia P, U & Sola
as promised by them.

Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OTA update For Samsung Galaxy Note

displays a neat looking Bing search box in the center of your desktop,
allowing you quick access to search on the web. When you download and install the tool, you will be towards the end,
asked to set a few options. Set them to your liking and click on Finish.
Nokia in an attempt to revise its services is closing down one more of its old services down the line following the Ovi Contacts and Ovi Mail. The service being shut down now is the “Ovi Share”. The Ovi Share was a service used by Nokia users to share file content online, generally photos and videos.

Though, it seems to us like Nokia has followed the recent pattern adopted by HTC which is shutting down its HTCSense.com and gave users a span of a month to download and backup their data which was present on the site, in the form of a single file. Similarly, Nokia has announced that it will be closing the Ovi Share services indefinitely from 30th May, 2102 onwards and the users can download and backup their content by logging in here. In the email sent by Nokia to all its customers, Nokia also stated that they have disabled new user registration as well as uploading of new content via Ovi Share services already, but the users can still have access to the newly introduced Nokia Services with the same Ovi Share credentials they used to access their account

The Stunning Samsung Galaxy S III

Apple has finally announced the iPad. As expected it comes with retina
display that brings a resolution of 2048X1536 with 3.1 million pixels.
That is 1 million pixels more than the HDTVs’ with 1080p support. The
new iPad also has A5X quad core processor which is twice as fast
compared to Tegra 3. A new feature in the iPad is the all new 5MP camera
with illuminated sensor on the back. It also features advanced optics
with IR filer, Autofocus and white balance. And as you might expect,
face detection too. In other words, its just as good as the iPhone 4S
but 5MP. This new camera can now take 1080p videos and it has video
stabilization, noise reduction etc. The voice dictation feature will now
be available on the iPad like on the iPhone. So all those who were
uncomfortable with soft keyboard can now use the dictation feature.
Another new feature is the 4G LTE which means it supports HSPA+
(21Mbps), DC-HSDPA (42Mbps) and LTE (73Mbps max). This is will make
browsing and emails incredibly faster. Obviously, you will need an
expensive data plan to enjoy this service.

Windows Phone Concept NOKIA SNOW

Universal USB Installer is a free and open source
application for Windows that allows you to install any Linux on your
Pendrive or USB drive. After that you can boot from that Pendrive or
you can say that you have a portable Operating System in your pocket.

To create a portable OS you will need to have any version of Windows
installed on your PC. Having an OS in your pocket looks really cool, you
can boot from any PC and your customized OS would be in front of you.
You can carry your files anywhere. The most promising feature of this
tool is that if you don’t have the disk image of your Operating System,
you can also download it directly from Internet. You can also create USB
Windows 7 installer from this tool, all you need is the disk image of your favorite Operating System.

4.From the “Browse” button locate the .iso file of the Operating System or mark the check box near it to download the .iso file.

5.In the last drop down menu, select the Pendrive or other drive in which you would like to install Linux.

6.When you select your device it will show a check box and a slider component.

7.Check the box if you want to erase the contents of your device.
8.From the slider select the persistent size of your drive. Persistent means that how much space you want to be left for your files.
Desktop, and Opera Widgets.

MacOS Dashboard Widgets support

Opera Widgets support

Open Source (LGPL)

We have seen how to make a Windows 7 themepack from your bunch of favorite wallpapers. But what if you want to use the wallpapers of any themepack separately?

Well if you are using 7-Zip as your extraction utility, it shouldn’t be a problem! Simply right click on the themepack file and select “Extract”.

But if you are not using 7-Zip, the you may have to first apply that
themepack and then navigate to the folder where the themepack stores the
desktop wallpapers.

This folder is a hidden folder and hence you may have to first slecet on ‘Show hidden files & folder’ option from the Explorer Folder Options.

Having done this, navigate to the following folder:

C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Themes\

Here you will see a bunch of theme folders. Select the theme folder, whose wallpapers you need and open the DesktopBackground folder.

You will see the desktop wallpapers of that themepack there!

How to Rename File Extensions

A lot of people here may ask how to rename a file extension in windows; well it’s very simple and takes little of your time. There are two ways to rename a file extension ‘without’ a stupid program.

Number -1

Folder Options:

Go into your Control Panel, in my case I use Windows XP so I would press [Start then Control Panel]. Now that you figured out how to get in Control Panel open “Folder Options” and click the view tab and make sure ‘Hide file extensions for know files’ is not selected, then press Ok.

Now go into a folder and notice you can see your files extensions, rename them to whatever you'd like, for instance:

Code:
mp.exe to mp.Anonymous / Etc,Etc,Etc

Number -2

MS-DOS:

Any way thats full of crap and bullshit why you need a second method if u can use the first method simply...:P
