Chrome for Android - Seach Text in Web Page

Ctrl + F and type the text. That was quick and easy in a desktop Web browser. Here's how you search text in an open web page in a mobile browser like Chrome for Android -

1. Touch the three dots on top left of Chrome.

2. This opens up a menu. Touch the "Find in page" item.

3. That's all. Now type the text you want to find within that page.

Forward Button in Chrome for Android

It is quite annoying while navigating web pages in a mobile browser like Chrome for Android when there is no straight way to hit the good old forward button that you find in desktop browsers.
Not that its missing in mobile Chrome; It just take two steps.

1. Click on the three dots in the top left of Chrome for Android.

2. This opens up the menu. See a button arrow icon? That's the forward button you want. Hit it and save some annoyance.

Add Shortcuts to My Computer in Windows

Here's a tool to add folder or application shortcuts to your "My Computer" or "Control Panel" in Windows.

My Computer Manager is a free Windows app that lets you do that.

To add shortcuts, just install the application and specify the location where the shortcut will be displayed.

This can be handy if you want to access your favorite folders or files with few clicks; while keeping your desktop clean.

Set Multiple Homepages in Google Chrome

Setting more than one home page in Google Chrome is smooth and easy. Here's how to do it -

1. Click the wrench icon at the lop left of the browser and hit Options.

2. Click Basics tab.

3. In the On Startup section, click Open following pages option and enter the websites.

4. Now these sites will open every time you start Chrome.
