Fallout 3 is an incredible game. The game play is long, fun and rarely gets stale. It’s on PC, XBOX 360, and PS3, so pretty much everyone can play. Here’s our mini review.

Story

The game literally starts out when you are born, something rarely done in a game like this. You aren’t a baby long, but there are a few things you do as a baby that are crucial to the story line. This is really cool as your changes with the decisions you make, and you get to make absolutely every one!

Game Play

The game play is great, however this is no Halo or Gears of War in terms of weapons and shooting. Good weapons are rare, and some of the power weapons are too heavy for you to carry more than two. You must search for everything, including ammo for the weapons you find. This adds alot of strategy in terms of what weapons you use and where. You are free to go anywhere throughout the wasteland, regardless of your level or current quest.

Your character also has something called V.A.T.S. and without spoiling what that is, its basically cinematic fighting you can use for better accuracy during firefights.

Graphics

The graphics are very good, however nothing extremely impressive. There is a good bit of loading. (every time you enter a building there is a loading screen) Overall, people look very real and when talking to people in conversation the animation is great.

Fallout 3 is is a great game and with the new downloadable “expansion packs” the gameplay could be endless. If you like games that take a long time and have a story line that you must follow, then Fallout 3 is for you!

Bing.com has a $100,000,000 marketing campaign backing it. Live.com, was short lived as Microsoft’s old search engine failing simply because not enough people used it. This time around, Microsoft is pumping huge dollars into this new product, and the way they are marketing it is pretty interesting.

Not only is Bing’s online presence big, but Microsoft has created refreshing TV ads and is holding events like The Bingathon. It seems like Microsoft wants the younger crowd. Check out a few of the ads, if you haven’t seen them already.

Do you think Bing could one day take Google? If Bing follows Google’s lead, and creates other free products there could be potential. What’s your opinion on the marketing approach Microsoft has taken for Bing?
