Make Calls from PC to Phone for FREE with EVAPHONE

I just stumbled on a site that is able to make free calls from PC to phone. Perhaps there are other better site or method to make calls from PC to phone, but this is something I just happen to know when checking out some forums and thought of sharing it with all of you.

To be able to call from PC to phone, they’d have to use VoIP service. Voice-over-Internet protocol (VoIP) is a protocol optimized for the transmission of voice through the Internet or other packet-switched networks.

VoIP is often used abstractly to refer to the actual transmission of voice (rather than the protocol implementing it). VoIP allows users to use regular telephone networks anywhere through any internet service provider, and avoids issues on long distance charges that are normally subject to callers. This latter concept is also referred to as IP telephony, Internet telephony, voice over broadband, broadband telephony, and broadband phone. I’ve tested calling my land line and even my cellphone, both rang!

As long as you have a computer with a broadband connection and flash player 9.0 or higher installed, you can use EVAPHONE to make calls from your PC. Don’t need to install any third party software. It is advisable to have headset to avoid echo. When you want to call a number from your PC, you need to watch a short advertisement first before it’ll connect you through. I believe that’s how they are able to provide free calls from PC to phone. However, after calling a few times for free, you’ll get the message “Your free call limit is exceeded for today. Would you like to register?” and “Call limit is exceeded for your IP”. There’s a saying that goes “there is no free lunch in this world” and that is quite true. You can use EVAPHONE to call land line or cellphone for free but with time and call limit. Calling some countries can only last a few seconds but for calling United States can go up to 6 minutes! You can refer to this list on the free call duration. The free call is not really for chatting because of the call limitation but would be useful if you’re lazy to text using SMS and want to let your friend or family know about something immediately. It could also fun to prank your friends phone number if you have dynamic IP address.

Are you ready to live the Second Life but in the virtual world of internet, so design your new appearance, home, friends & enter in to the virtual utopia that can be as detailed as you like, and you are the sovereign – down to details of currency, economy and government. This is all possible in games such as Second Life, by San Francisco-based Linden Lab.

The Second Life (Second Life is an online game that gives you a new life in a virtual world) “world” resides in a large array of Linden Lab servers. Subscribers (“residents”) run the Second Life client program which allows them, via the internet, to view and modify the Second Life world and participate in its economy. Most of the content is resident-created; indeed, residents retain the intellectual property rights.Second Life residents are represented by an avatar which may be customized in a variety of ways.

The basic avatar is a humanoid in shape and, through a series of graphical user interface (GUI) controls, can be modified by adjusting parameters such as size, build, colours and hair style. Residents can also create or buy clothing, and fit out their avatars with accessories. Second Life has its own economy, and a currency called Linden dollars (LUSD). Residents receive an initial amount of LUSD when they open an account, and a weekly stipend thereafter, the amount depending on the type of account. Additional currency can be acquired by selling objects or services within the environment. Residents can purchase LUSD directly, or convert between Linden currency and US currency through Linden Lab’s currency brokerage, the LindX Currency Exchange, with a rate that fluctuates daily. Interest groups can be created for a fee of LUSD 100. After three days an additional two members must have been recruited, otherwise the investment is lost and the group is deleted.

Second Life has become very popular. Many real-world celebrities have confessed to “living” their second lives in the virtual world. Problems also exist in this utopia. Some residents are malevolent; thus, groups of residents are actively trying to damage the world, by creating self-replicating objects that may eventually paralyse the server. Second Life speculators buy land at low costs in hopes of earning quick profits when it appreciates in value. There have even been real-life lawsuits against Linden Labs for loss of virtual property.

A virtual second life may not be such a utopia after all. It is entertaining & becoming eminent on the Internet.

What actually do happen, Interviewers when asked about their Interview just after they come out, finishing the Interview process, they say “Everything went very well and will break the deal.” But actually they didn’t get the “Golden-Apple” in their hands & it is sometimes true even with those candidates who are qualified enough for that position.
If it happens then there are some little but dangerous negative vibes which can ruin your chances of getting your dream job.

What are the most common blunders one should get rid off & put the best face forward? Here are some most common mistakes:

Red Flag 1: “My Alarm clock didn’t ring!”
If you are late for your interview, it indicates that you are lacking managing & organizational skills. It straightforward puts a bad impression on the Interviewer.

Red Flag 2: “I know everything”
Trying to show that you are the only “gem” in the field may be sometimes critical. Indeed Knowledge is power but information & answers should be planned, short & delivered to the point according to questions.

Red Flag 3: Talking too much
Applicants sometimes stray from the topic while answering & talk too much which can bring them negative points.

Red Flag 4: “Sorry, I haven’t googled it yet”

When Google decided to make a browser, they wanted to completely rethink the browser, as browsing now is very different from browsing the early simple text web pages, now we email, shop, pay bills, and run other large application in our browsers.

The Interview & Common Interview Blunders, The topic I am publishing on the demand of many job seekers, really involves some attention because today, it just act as a tool which will definitely provide you the “Extra-Edge” over others in this competitive world. In this article I am focusing on the “The Art of Interviewing” & I will provide “Most Common Interview Blunders” in my next one.

Indeed Interview is an Art in present day scenario. Interview is a situation which every one has to face in his /her life because it has just become an indispensable part of selection process which can be thought as “The Measuring Unit of Selection Criteria” to judge candidate’s suitability for a particular job & work environment. Even a 4-5 years old child has to face the Interview for admissions to start his educational journey.

Let’s come to the point, Success in an Interview needs confidence & enthusiasm in the candidate, right from the point a candidate enters the room till he finishes it up. The first thing you should keep in mind that the Interviewer doesn’t know you, so “You’ve really got to work at the impression you make” & it is really important as all your work starts from here. How are you dressed up, how you express yourself & how savvy you are about the company are the things putting the first impression on Interviewer. The better you start of, the easier the things coming in your way. Simply making the “First Impression” is about 25% of job got done, but it doesn’t mean that you have the “Golden-Apple” in your hands. Yes, it is still at good distance, which you have to cover by having patience & giving your best, as you can. If everything goes well, you will find your hands just 20% away from the “Golden-Apple” & it is the time to make a “Bull-Shot” by asking a valid question to the interviewer about the company plans & policies. Yes, it makes a difference. It shows your interest & anxiety about the company. But try this “Bull-Shot” only if you have an early knowledge about the company concerned otherwise it can turn into a “Fatal-Shot”.

Tips:

~> Be confident & polite in what you speak.

~> Try to maintain an eye to eye contact while talking to the Interviewer. If there are more than one Interviewer, be attentive to all of them.

~> Try to be positive & expressive in the Interview.

~> Try to listen the questions carefully & follow “to the point” strategy in your answers. Excessive talking & lengthy description on a subject will be harmful. If you don’t know the answer simply tell them that you don’t but never try to make them “puzzled” because they are the experts of the field from which you got the question.

~> Don’t become aggressive at any point in the Interview as it will be a ”Red-Cross” on your behavior & will give a negative impact to the Interviewer.

Now Nokia,the King in the Mobile Industry,is going for a big blast,the first global launch in India,it is 'The Magic product & Touted to be an iPhone killer' N96 which is to be launched just 2 days before the official launch of Apple iPhone(August 22).
With the extreme capabilities,N96 is really a beauty.It will definately challenge Apple's iPhone to a great deal.

Nokia has also confirmed it will launch a full touchscreen handset named "TUBE" by the end of this year.

One of the interesting questions that strike into many heuristic minds is how computers understand & perform the tasks given to them in the language we understand? The answer is Computer Languages Programming make it possible.
Today Computer Languages are acting as a tool to make Machines Serve for Man.
Unlike Human Languages, which acts as a medium, an essentiality for Human beings to interact & communicate with others, an indispensability for humans to live in a social network by exchanging their notions, feelings & thoughts, binding people from all over the World & their thoughts into what we call Understanding, & thus help developing relationships, Computer Languages like C , C++, JAVA etc. have revolutionized the World of Computing & Programming.
Computer Languages make computer (A Machine with numerous capabilities) to do what we want them to do. They have proved what they can do, which is just evident from right from the beginning of development of Operating systems, Software development, Gaming, Electronic Devices like Mobiles, Washing Machines etc.
A Computer Language acts as an interface between humans (more specifically Programmers) & the ultimate machine (The computer).Each Computer Language has a unique way to represent a set of statements (called Program Code) written entirely in human language ( English) & the ways of programming the code are different for different Computer Language. These codes are to be written in the IDE (Integrated Development Environment) specific to a particular Computer Language which transforms programmer’s instructions into a format understandable by the computer at the hardware level.
An IDE provides an overall environment to the programmer for editing, execution, debugging of program code & other facilities like developing program based applications.
A Large number of computer applications are built in different languages which fulfil different purposes. Not only computer applications but electronic devices too can’t work without implementations of program (in a specific language) through microprogramming (at micro level) & hardwired programming (via hardware devices like logic gates).
Some of the Earlier Programming Languages are BASIC, COBOL, LISP, PROLOG, PYTHON, PERL etc. The eminent & most widely used Computer Programming Languages today are C, C++, JAVA, VB.NET, ASP.NET, C# etc.
