This method only work for root users so if you want to use USB to get your pc internet in your android device you should root your android device before continuing this method.

1. First setup your mobile go to Settings >> Applications >> Development >> USB Debugging and check. Your phone should be rooted and has Superuser installed. Just uncheck notification in Superuser app from Preferences >> Notifications and uncheck.

2. Now install your mobile ADB driver. Just take out your phone battery and put it back and turn on your phone and connect to pc. But don’t mount your SD card. It will auto detect your mobile ADB driver if it’s not installed before. If your pc can’t recognize your ADB mobile driver just download and browse manually. USB DRIVER.ZIP

3. Download Reverse Tethering 3.0.8 and Extract it.

4. Run AndroidTool.exe and select device and DNS. If device not appears just click refresh. it will visible.

5. Now click connect.

6. Automatically usbtunnel app will be installed in your mobile and Superuser will ask permission just allow it and enjoy internet.

Apple embraces new technology to give the next iPhone a thinner screen

APPLE'S next iPhone, currently being manufactured by Asian component makers, will use a new technology that makes the smartphone's screen thinner, people familiar with the matter said, as the US technology giant strives to improve technological features amid intensifying competition from Samsung Electronics and other rivals.

Japanese liquid-crystal-display makers Sharp and Japan Display —a new company that combined three Japanese electronics makers' display units—as well as South Korea's LG Display are currently mass producing panels for the next iPhone using so-called in-cell technology, the people said.

The technology integrates touch sensors into the LCD, making it unnecessary to have a separate touch-screen layer. The absence of the layer, usually about half-a-millimeter thick, not only makes the whole screen thinner, but improves the quality of displayed images, said DisplaySearch analyst Hiroshi Hayase.

The current iPhone 4S is 9.3 millimeters thick, according to Apple's official website.

For Apple, the new technology would also simplify the supply chain and help cut costs as it would no longer need to buy touch panels and LCD panels from separate suppliers.

Technological progress at LCD makers such as Sharp, Japan Display and LG Display is crucial for Apple, given that Samsung has been pushing its organic light-emitting displays as one of the unique features of its Galaxy phones. Samsung's flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S III, comes with a 4.8-inch OLED screen and is thinner than the current iPhone.

The vast majority of OLED screens used in mobile devices today are supplied by Samsung. OLED screens, which don't require backlighting, tend to be thinner than conventional LCD panels.

A thinner screen in the next iPhone could make the whole device slimmer, or make extra room available for other components such as batteries. But in-cell touch screens are harder to manufacture than conventional LCD screens.

The people familiar with the situation said that LCD makers are finding the manufacturing process challenging and time-consuming as they scramble to achieve high yield rates.

Analysts have said that the new iPhone is expected sometime in the third quarter of this year.

In May, people familiar with the matter said that the new iPhone will likely come with a screen larger than the current iPhone's 3.5-inch display. A thinner screen could help offset an increase in weight due to the larger size.

The LCD industry has been working on the in-cell touch technology for several years. For LCD panel makers like Sharp, Japan Display and LG Display, Apple's iPhone provides the environment where they can demonstrate their latest technological progress to show that LCD screens can continue to evolve and stay competitive against OLED displays. In the meantime, Sharp, Japan Display and LG Display have also been developing OLED displays.

At the same time, the adoption of in-cell technology is bad news for makers of conventional touch panels used in many smartphone screens now. Taiwan's Wintek and TPK Holding which supplied the touch-panel layer of the iPhone 4S screen, didn't get orders for the next iPhone, people familiar with the situation said.

Samsung Buys Wireless Technology, Patents From UK-based CSR

Samsung Electronics will pay US$310 million to buy technology and patents from U.K. chip design company CSR, strengthening Samsung's chip offerings in the area of wireless connectivity.
The TV, smartphone and memory chip maker, based in Suwon, South Korea, will gain access to CSR's handset connectivity and location technologies, including Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS, as well as 21 U.S. technology patents and 310 employees.
Samsung will also buy an equity stake in CSR for $34.4 million. The Cambridge-based company currently supplies location-tracking chips for Samsung's smartphones and tablets.
The deal will strengthen Samsung's in-house components business, including its Exynos family of SoCs, or system-on-chips, which are used in its Galaxy S III smartphone, analysts said. Samsung also relies on Qualcomm Snapdragon processors for use in other devices.
An SoC is a chip that includes multiple components, such as a processor and wireless receiver, on a single piece of silicon. Combining the components helps reduce space and power consumption in mobile devices.
"Samsung is pursuing a 'complete platform strategy' to capture more value per design-win, as it [currently] lacks some technology pieces," said Sravan Kundojjala, an analyst with Strategy Analytics, in an interview via Twitter.
Buying CSR fills a gap in its portfolio of connectivity chips and will potentially reduce its dependence on outside suppliers, he said.
Just last month Samsung bought Nanoradio, a Swedish company that develops energy-efficient chipsets for Wi-Fi. The acquisitions put pressure on other wireless chip makers such as Broadcom, Qualcomm and Texas Instruments, Kundojjala said.
They too are making acquisitions, however. Qualcomm bought wireless chip maker Atheros last year, allowing it to improve the Wi-Fi capabilities of its SoCs, and Samsung is looking for similar gains, Kundojjala said.
As well as making chips for its own handsets, Samsung supplies components to third parties such as Apple for use in its iPhones and other devices.
The deal is expected to close in the fourth quarter. After it closes, CSR will focus on areas such as voice and music, in-car "infotainment," imaging and indoor location technologies, it said.

Apple sets WWDC 2012 for June 11-15

Apple developers, get out your calendars and pencil in June 11 to 15.
Those are the dates that Apple has just announced for the 2012 edition of its Worldwide Developers Conference, which will take place in San Francisco.
The focus, of course, will be on Apple's mobile and desktop operating systems -- the lines between which have been blurring as Apple seeks to give users the same experience regardless of device. With the newest version of OS X, called Mountain Lion, Apple is bringing many iOS features to the Mac.
"We have a great WWDC planned this year and can't wait to share the latest news about iOS and OS X Mountain Lion with developers," Philip Schiller, Apple's senior vice president of worldwide marketing, said in a statement. "The iOS platform has created an entirely new industry with fantastic opportunities for developers across the country and around the world."
The event will feature more than 100 technical sessions presented by Apple engineers.
At last year's WWDC, Apple unveiled iCloud, iOS 5, and some features of the earlier Lion version of Mac OS.

The government today cleared National Telecom Policy 2012 that aims to abolish roaming charges thus allowing mobile phone subscribers to use same number across country without having to pay extra charges.

"Target is one nation full mobile number portability and work towards one nation free roaming," Telecom Minister Kapil Sibal told reporters after the Cabinet gave approval to NTP. The Department of Telecom (DoT) will now start process to implement full mobile number portability allowing users to retain their existing number at the time of changing their service providers across any state in the country.

However, consumers will have to wait for some time before roaming charges are abolished and one-number-one-nation concept implement as DoT will first work out modalities of the new scheme before it is brought into force. The NTP 2012 envisages increasing penetration of telecom services in rural area from current level of around 39 to 70 per cent by 2017 and 100 per cent by the year 2020.

Under the new policy broadband speed has been increased to minimum of 2 megabit per second (mbps). This change will come into force with immediate effect. With the new policy getting approved, telecom licences have been delinked from spectrum which was earlier bundled with the licences. The NTP 2012 will allow operators to provide services based on any technology by using airwaves and will not restrict them to use it for particular service using any specific frequency band. At present, there are frequencies which are specifically used for providing GSM or CDMA services as per the permit given to the companies.

NTP 2012 replaces 13-year-old New Telecom Policy 1999 and "seeks to provide a predictable and stable policy regime for a period of about 10 years," Sibal said. The cabinet has cleared the point that pertains to encouraging domestic manufacturing of telecom equipment.

"Making India a global hub for manufacturing. Till the time we will not set up industry here...India will not be able to become become global. It is very important because along with this prices of device will also come down," he said. The major details of the manufacturing telecom equipments are part of National Policy of Electronics which Sibal send is expected to be approved within a month.

"Electronics manufacturing policy is hopefully going to be decided this month.. it will go to cabinet soon," he said. The Cabinet has approved NTP 2012 with five changes related to revenue generation objective, Spectrum Act and TRAI Act. The government has deleted Spectrum Act which was proposed in the policy.

"Spectrum Act has been deleted as a policy matter we don't intend to have a spectrum act any more," Sibal said. In the point which aimed at giving more power to TRAI, Cabinet has added that policy making function would remain with government and the regulator will not make policy. "We just want to add that policy making function would, however, continue to remain with government, means TRAI will not make policy," Sibal said.

The cabinet also substituted the point which mentioned "direct revenue generation" as secondary objective of new policy with "availability of affordable and effective communication for the citizens is at the core of the vision and goal of NTP 2012" at two places. The government has also replaced a sentence related to spectrum allocation to migrate its users to different frequency bands to make way for services based on new technologies. Sibal said that any major changes in the policy in future will be brought to the cabinet for approval.

Sony just went ahead and announced the latest additions to its Xperia lineup. The new Xperia acro S and Xperia go phones are water-proof and have increased protection against the elements, which includes a scratch-proof mineral glass on top of the displays.

For 2011 range, as you know, Sony began their Ice Cream Sandwich software upgrade with Xperia arc S, Xperia ray and Xperia neo V last month.
Now, they confirm that the remaining 2011 smartphones; Xperia arc, Xperia neo, Xperia mini, Xperia mini pro, Xperia pro, Xperia active and Sony Ericsson Live with Walkman will start to receive their updates starting from next week.*
This software upgrade will be Android version 4.0.4 and the good news is that this latest version will also be made available for Xperia arc S, Xperia ray and Xperia neo V users, who received Android 4.0.3 the first time around.
In regards to Xperia PLAY, after extensive in house testing with Sony developer teams and working with their partners, they have concluded that a consistent and stable experience, particularly with gaming, cannot be guaranteed for this smartphone on Ice Cream Sandwich – therefore, they will not make the Android 4.0 upgrade available for Xperia PLAY.
