How Encouraging is India for an Entreprenuer???????

Entreprenuer is the word you guys might have heard many times and i love this word specially in software industry. I have got various reasons to love this word but i was always thinking how encouraging is that for turning an enterprenuer in Indian software industry. Does really worth giving a shot to it??????

Well i believe USA or any developed nations have given enough courage and support for the citizens there to turn as an entreprenuer. I see there is lots of innovative projects or products or ideas being implemented in those nations. Starting from the ERA of Microsoft to era of Google at present or Era of Big computer machines to super Handy Ipads..

I believe there should be enough support from Government and also it should try to invest some money in such projects and insure these project so that they can recover the money which is spent on project in case of a failure. And if a person has invested a couple of years in entreprenuership and failed achieving his or her target and then wanted to opt for a normal software job.. these companies should be encouraging enough to hire them rather saying you are a looser. Yeah this is the biggest problem with Indian IT industry. The first and important thing we are lacking is Innovation and second most thing is Trust. One should have trust on the talent of Other person.

We always talk India is a devloping nation specially in software sector but think how many Big names from entreprenuer division are there from India. A guy is a college passed out is always thinking of a job because they know if they couldnt get a job immediately after they passedout it is highly impossible for them to get a job in future. ANd some may be extremely talented who can do miracles if they were given a change but the pitty thing is most of the managers in the Indian IT industry are normal employees how always think to impress clients or their Bosses but they never think out of BOX and this is because their companies never think of out of BOX.

Why not a big company can invest money and time in innovating OS like Android why cant a company like infy try to develop strong social media network like Facebook this is because they business model is different but this indifference is making India lagging in many things.

Its not only the fault of IT industry but also on Government sector... for example if one wanted to open up a small propreitorship company it takes 2 months with lots of strain beggin these govt officials to do their Job and for this one needs to bribe them.

The whole system has to change govt, private sectors has to change their views on Innovation. If one person turns to an interview saying he was an entreprenuer, then the company should appreciate his/her potential rather than rejecting them and this brings lots of enthu for the students to invest their time in innovative projects and even they fail to achive there will be always a belief that they will land up in some company to continue their career...

Igate annouces termination of certain staff from Patni

Patni employees have a bad news to hear this morning and this comes from the Company which is acquiring patni. IGate recently annouced in a filling to SEC (Securities and Exchange Commission of the United States), iGate has pegged the “onetime costs amounting to $14 million ($9.3 million net of tax) relating to the termination of the services of certain employees” post acquisition.

Well i feel this should be an alarming news for the employees of patni and i believe they should take no chance in getting terminated one sad day. This is again a bad move from another company after acquisition in an employee perspective not on management. And also one thing they confirmed is about retention of higher level employees (management).

I always believe there should be a prior notice to employees who may get terminated in future. Or they can still keep the employee with them paying low salary, till he gets an another job with in a limited period of time. Lets see how patni gonna deal with this.

youtube is the second largest Search engine tool.

Youtube one of the favourite sites to hangout is been ranked as world's second largest search engine. And you know what, this is owned by world's first largest search engine none other than Google. Youtube gradually increased tremondous traffic after it has been aquired by Google. Now what makes it interesting is how is google getting profit out of this as it never declared youtube as a revenue center...

Coming to Youtube it is now completed 6years in the industry and became the second largest search engine and i believe it has lot of potential in this because coming to search engines, Google and youtube differ a lot and Google is being used in all the sectors like education, Information technology, Daily needs, Transport etc but coming to Youtube i guess even it has got diversified sectors to rely upon but it is only related to videos and it still managed to be ranked 2nd in search engines where as it has some tough competetores like Bing, etc.

youtube gets two billion views a day, up 50% since 2009 and in india it has got 20 million unique visitors. I believe Facebook which is the furious competetor for google, helped youtube to increase its traffic a lot. Facebook gained popularity in India mostly on sharing the videos on it publicly and facebook being an famous mobile app in India now, eventually youtube got its popularity through facebook. I believe Facebook missed out this strategy while competing with Google.

If you talk about monetizing on youtube, it has already got Google ads and other brands advertising on the website which can make good money to youtube. Well Well lets see how the other search engines improvise their strategies in bringing up their traffic , nevertheless acquiring youtube was a very good move by Google and it proved that it is worth while.

Nokia confirmed its partnership with Microsoft which starts a news phase of mobile OS for Nokia. Now the question arises what happens to Symbian and its opensource project MeeGo.Wel Nokia has choseen Windows Phone 7 operating system on its mobile devices as its primary smartphone platform. With this deal, Microsoft Bing and other services are going to be featured on Nokia smartphones.Well what made Nokia to take this step???

Last couple of years , there is a huge competetion by Google and Apple. Specially Google Android is been a serious contendor for its competetors in the market and it has really captured the market to great extent. In the current scenarios Microsoft's windows phone 7 has done very good job in its sales, which may have attracted Nokia and not only market grip but also technical capabilities of window phone 7 os attracted Nokia, i believe.

Well Meego was much expected than what it is at present because Meego was a OS developed with the support of the chip maker giant "Intel". When Nokia says Meego would go down , Intel strongly contended saying it still has much scope and being an Opensource platform it can be much developed.Meego will still use QT where as Nokia developers are going to use Windows tools, Visual studio 2010 and XNA framework.

Now the big question is "what's the future of symbian". Well i see it doesnt have much future when looked on to this deal but still Nokia says it has a franchise model for symbian and it is still planning to release around 150 million symbian based phones in next year. Now i really wanted to look on what all the difference between symbian and Windows phone 7 OS and Android.

With all this happening around Nokia and Microsoft , lets see to what extent Nokia going to leverage the benefits of Microsoft OS and its gonna be a real game for Microsoft to show its capabilites, as it is paired up with one of the biggest mobilephone manufacturers and compete the opensource OS Android.

Texting vs Tweet, poke, check-in

There is a survey done by Deloitte on death of text message due to impact of social network. And they confirmed smartphone users still use text option every day. Now one big question is what made Deloitte think in such a weird way.... yeah what am i saying is true..

Social network and regular communication between people using mobile cant be compared. I accept that social network is to get connected with the people but there is a question here.. just think when you wanted to say to friend "please come by 5 to so and so place" one would opt for a simple text rather than publishing or tweeting on social network. Texting is more personal when compared to social network which is more public.

There are manythings that cant be shared on social networks, i strongly belive tweeting or poking do not kill simple texting on mobile phones. tweeting and texting are lot different and they are ment for different purpose respecticely.

Deloitte found that 90pc of smartphone owners send at least one text message a day, compared to four in 10 who access social networks, such as Facebook and Twitter, on their phones. Half of British adults access emails on their phones. Now surverying on usage of social network through mobile would be good, but comparing the usage of text option and usage of social network is not catchy.. this is just to say that we did a survey but which is of no use for us may be useful for Deloitte.

Twitter knocks off the Google-Facebook takeover statements

Twitter came back with a reply to the news on "Google/Facebook talks on aquiring twitter". Twitter CEO Dick Costolo made a clear statement that Twitter is not on sale and its planning to gain the grip on market to much extent when compared to present.

Twitter has already more than 130 million tweets a day and it shows twitter has no need to get sold off. On the news of aquisition , Twitter CEO said " People write that stuff all the time. I don't know where these things come from, it's just a rumour". I guess he missed out the point to note how powerfull the socialnetwork is and how fast the news can spread over :)

And he made clear that Twitter is already started making good amount of money and it is planning to introduce new techniques which makes some more money for them. Well Google and Facebook are yet to comment on the news which came out.

Update status on Facebook through Mobile or landline !!!

Facebook can be updated from your mobile, now one may think what's strange in this??????? yeah the strange thing is, it can be updated through your mobile but on voice. Not only from Mobile but can also be updated from landline. This is being done by a cloud service introduced by company named Ozonetel.

Facebook being the most popular social network platform, they believe this feature can be really helpfull for the users. But i guess calling from landline and updating facebook nopes it doesnt sound that catchy. There is no point in calling from landline and updating facebook. If the user doesnt have a computer or internet access , he will not be an internet savy and i believe they wont call from a landline and update Facebook and same goes with mobile.

I do not see this feature can be useful for the people to much extent. I only see this as company wanted to get exposed to the market by creating an unique app for facebook and yeah this can be useful to generate business for the company. I mean to say this idea is more on profit oriented but not a catchy or needfull thing for the users..

To register at Ozonetel's 'Cloud telephony platform' one has to log on to the Voice Buzz application and have to provide their phone number will not be shared with anyone .While logging on Facebook the user has to sync his Facebook account and to post the voice message one have to call 040-30512834 from his registered phone and can leave the voice message which will be instantly appear on Facebook feed.

Facebook and Google Gearing up to takeover Twitter?????

Twitter on sale????????? hmmmm its a big news though... the internet giant Google and Socialnetwork leader Facebook have held takeover talks with twitter. The amount on the bid is huge now.. its somewhere near $10 billion according to Wall street Journal.

Twitter has been a sensation in socialnetwork on internet and the new ways it adopted to build the network were incredible. Twitter was also pretty useful rather i would say it was poerful in marketting options.

Twitter is just four year old company and is been tough competetor for the internet giants like Facebook, Zynga and Linkedin. Twitter implemented many strategies to pull in the crowd which even facebook did. Twitter has gathered enough celebrities on to their site which pulled enormous crowd initially... and slowly it began to capture the market. Twitter apps supported by mobile phone which i felt one of the most important feature of this site... the funda is pretty simple... If the socialnetwork site suppports on any mobile device than that can be a pretty big thing.

Though Google is leading the online market and it has already got orkut in its account for the socialnetwork sector it's interest in twitter shows its prediction towards future. Coming to Facebook, i guess it can remove its competetor from the market rather doing this.. it can own the competetor and increase the hold on the market..

Well lets see how far it goes on this... i believe twitter is not yet ready to do so :)

Microsoft shows more profits than Apple

Microsoft vs Apple the ever going rivalry in terms of profit making, capitalizing the market positions etc brings on the news again. This time its on the profit gained in the last quarter and to the news Microsoft has gained more profits when compared to Apple.

Now it is clear that Microsoft's high end software can compete Apple's high end gadgets. Apple comes with highly addictive iphone where as microsoft comes up with its flawless Xbox 360 and Windows 7 etc. For the quarter, Microsoft earned $6.63 billion in profit compared to Apple’s $6 billion.

Motorola Atrix 4G Android phone support with Dock

Motorola has announced "Atrix" a new 4G Android phone on wednesday. This can be connected to dock station which looks like a laptop which has no CPU and users can access a full physical keyboard and monitor.And users can also connected to dock which allow streaming to HDTV or any HDMI compatible monitor.Motorola ATRIX 4G will take the users to new ERA of mobile computing

As i was talking many times about the future of mobile, it goes in the same way i believe. I was always talking about soon mobile will replace computers and this is a gadget which can replace desktops to much extent apart from work evnvironments where people need desktops to create software applications.

Well coming to Atrix it runs with 1GHz dual-core processor, matching the power of full-size PCs from just a few years past. The phone hooks to the dock using an app called Motorola Webtop.This phone supports Mozilla firefox full version and user can feel the experience of browsing on a desktop.

Guys just wait and watch for this mobile release in India, as this comes with 4G network which is yet to be started in INdia i belive. The big players of Mobile manufactures are planning to lauch 4G phones by the mid of this year.

4G Android smartphones introducing by Verizon

4G is the new buzz in the market... yeah in the previous article i was talking about 3G but market is moving at a rapid pace, fourth generation is in now.Verizon is coming up with many 4G products like Verizon iPhone, tablets etc.

Verizon launched its highly anticipated 4G wireless network in December. Verizon has already sold out laptop cards which run on super fast network LTE(long term evolution). I guess already the mobile manufacturers are ready to release the products on 4G. Dual-core LG smartphone and the HTC Thunderbolt are on the way and both these smartphones are LTE-ready. Motorola is also expected to announce the Honeycomb tablet PC, which is also expected to run on Verizon's 4G network.And all the above gadgets are going to use Android oS.

Well i see the market for 4G takes some time to open up specifically in India as 3G thing is still picking up and people may not shift that fast to 4G. Hmmmm lets get a 3G phone first and then we will look onto 4G what do u say guys????:) Mean while i will collect some information on 4G and post in our blog soon,Keep watching.

Google to clash on Apple.

Google all set for strike back Apple on its market. Apple which is a strong player in digital publications is going to face google now. Google going to launch digital news stand of e-publications optimised for its Android-based tablets and smartphones.

Hmmm good move by Google for the year 2011, news is that google is in talks with huge media companies like Time Warner inc. etc. and Company even agreed to take a smaller cut in revenues. Wow sounds like Google really wanna take on the rival now.

Google has already announced Google editions last year which allows its users to view, read or download some their fav magazines,books etc. And when looking to new move by google its not a bad move i guess.



Android creator Andy Rubin mentioned about the company activating 300,000 Android devices per day worldwide, and this number is constantly increasing

As it wanted to optimize this feature for Android based tables and smartphones, it is going to be a big impact for Apple and Amazon. Android has rapid growth in the last year and according to Andy Rubin (creator of Android).he says that the company is activating 300,000 Android devices per day worldwide.

So sometime from now, google can be the largest platforms for consumption of e-books and digital content , i belive..

3G the word which is very popular among the mobilephone users 2010. 3G and Android are the two buzz words which rocked the market in the year 2010. Gemini threat Strikes on Android

Android Mobile is now targetted by the hackers with a malicious application that harvests personal information and sends it to a remote server. This seams to be like a botnet and this is named as "Gemini". So guys Gemini the new intruder on the Andriod Mobiles...

Well Botnets are something like which run anounimoously and automatically once reached onto target zone. Geinimi as of now is targetted at chinese users and have found that it has been wrapped into legitimate free and paid games for Android users. Also they are appearing from the 3rdparty websites which offers andriod apps with a minimal security.Some of those programs have appeared to be downloaded thousands of times.

No one is still aware of whats the moto behind the creation of Geinimi. First lets us know what exactly Gemini does once it comes onto our mobile....Now once Gemini enters your mobile this malware communicates with a central command-and-control server. The server can issue commands to a phone remotely, such as to download or uninstall software. The user of the Android phone is prompted and must approve either action.

Hmmmm this sounds to me like using this app one can gain the control over the phone from the server and start installing other mallicious apps on to the mobile. But still some malwares are created for profit making and some for destroying the market... lets see how far this goes. But users please be aware of this app before downloading apps from 3rd party websites.

Lightning Captured by X-Ray Camera

X-Ray for detecting the lightning that strikes back to earth on rainy nights with terrific power. Wow this sounds creepy ha. Yeah Scientists from Florida Institute of Technology in Melbourne has invented this X-ray machine which can capture these lightnings.

This machine can shoot ten million frames a second and this was targeted at an artificial lightning which was generated by shooting rockets into thunderstorms, with attached wires directing the flow of energy down into their target zone. And this machine captured the Xray of this lightning. The pictures suggest a lightning bolt carries all its x-ray radiation in its tip.

when talking about caputuring the image of a lightning, Joseph Dwyer, a lightning researcher at the Florida Institute of Technology in Melbourne, say "Something moving this fast would go from the Earth to the moon in less than ten seconds."

Now you may think whats the moto behind doing this experiment????? For many years scientist know that these lightning emit radiation, but until now scientists didn't have the technology to take x-ray images quickly enough to see where the radiation comes from. Hmmmmm now they made a point on this... But lets see what all can be done with this research.

Oracle releases MySQL 5.5

Oracle after the acquisition of SUN , comes out strongly with the new release of open source Database MySQL. They have upgraded the version from 5.1 from 5.5. Oracle is targetting Mysql 5.5 for Web applications , then buddy what is Oracle targetted for???

They say that Oracle database is the leading enterprise database for high-end packaged applications: enterprise resource planning, customer relationship management, online transaction processing, large data warehouses and business intelligence applications.

MySQl is being widely used in opensource community and as it is part of LAMP, they believe it would be easier for LAMP administrators to handle MySQL when compared to ORacle.

When coming to Mysql 5.5 , whats new with this... 5.5 comes with better scalability and improved replication. Connection pooling has been improved drastically, now it can handle around 1000 connections at once. It also handles large datas with out slowing down the system.
The software can also offer additional performance gains when increasing the number of server cores beyond four, which previous versions were unable to do.

When looked at the performance level, Oracle showed that MySQL 5.5 showed a 360 percent improvement in reads and writes over version 5.1 running on Linux. On Windows Server machines, that performance gain jumped over 1,500 percent. "We get higher throughput in general with 5.5.

In terms of replication, the software now includes the ability to do semi-synchronous replications. Previous versions only offered asynchronous replications, meaning the backup copy of the database would not be updated as soon as new data was entered to the original.

These were the facts given by Oracle on its new release. Now lets wait and watch for more reviews on the usage of Mysql 5.5.

To upgrade your Samsung Galaxy S to Android 2.2 Froyo, you need to download these files

How to Install/Upgrade To Android 2.2 Froyo on Samsung Galaxy S: Instructions

1. Remove the battery, SIM card and MicroSD card from your phone and reinsert the battery.

2. Hold down the Home + Volume Down buttons and press the Power On button.

3. You should now see a download screen

4. Open Odin 3 v1.0

5. Click on the PIT button and load the “s1_odin_20100512.pit” file

6. Click on the PDA button and load the “I9000XXJP2-REV03-PDA-CL464213.tar” inside the I9000XXJP2 RAR file.

7. Click on the PHONE button and load the “MODEM_I9000XXJP2.tar”inside the I9000XXJP2 RAR file.

Samsung India has started to roll out the Google Andriod 2.2 Froyo Updates for galaxy s smartphone. Froyo is coming up with cool features which can really upgrade your smartphone to next level.

Now many users wanna download this and start experiencing the features of Froyo... now how many does really know what is Froyo????? Well in simple Froyo is an Mobile Platform.

Froyo users can expect a new homescreen widget and also bring in some minor changes and transitions and animations which seem a bit smoother.Froyo also lets you turn your phone into a hotspot—including for your Wi-Fi iPad.

Froyo also makes the performance faster when compared to the current speed. Andriod 2.2 is said to be more faster than earlier version and Froyo is up to 5x faster than Eclair, thanks to a just-in-time compiler. And that's just the OS; Google's also claiming that Froyo has the world's fastest mobile browser, period.

Now i think here comes the coolest feature of Froyo. Google Earth 6.0

Google has come up with the annoucement of Google earth 6.0. what's new about GE6 now? well it has come up with integrated street view experience and 3D trees. 3D trees???? sounds strange ha.. come lets check it out...

First of all, let me know you guys what is "integrated street view". Using this feature you can directly move upto your doorstep vitually. Now here comes the concept which i was imagining when i first heard about Google earth. The concept is, there is a pegman whom you can pick and drop along the highlighted roadways ... and you can use the navigation controls or your mouse to look around.

And unlike the earlier Street View layer, you can now move seamlessly from one location to another as if you’re walking down the street by using the scroll-wheel on your mouse or the arrow keys on your keyboard. If you want to visit somewhere farther away, simply click the “exit” button and you’ll immediately return to an aerial view where you can easily fly to your next destination. Wow this is just like a 3D video Game.

Then comes another feature "3D trees". Google Earth 6 includes 3D models for dozens of species of trees, from the Japanese Maple to the East African Cordia to the cacao tree.

Google says: "While we’ve just gotten started planting trees in Google Earth, we already have more than 80 million trees in places such as Athens, Berlin, Chicago, New York City, San Francisco and Tokyo. There is also feature incorporated with GE6 which is useful in viewing Historical images. while moving on the screen in GE6 and if you come accross any historical image.... then you just click on that image and it gives the oldest date of the image and once you click on the date it will take you to that timeperiod...

V.SHOW: India's First Projector Mobile Phone

V.Show is all set to take off the show.. yeah this is a cool gadget from indian mobile market which can change the thought of using the mobile in the way it is being used now. Vshow is the India's first projector mobile. This is India’s first projector phone to be launched by a domestic mobile handset company...

Well one might think to what extent it can project on to the screen. This mobile projects the content in the mobile on to the wall up to 154.9 cms (61 inches) of screen/wall with a high intensity projection of 10 lumens and QWVGA resolution.
And it is good to use this in the range of 12 feet distance from the screen..

If you think about the battery back up .. they say it can be used continuosly for more than 3 hours which can easily play one full movie, or a presentation etc..
and a film quality of 25 frames per second (FPS) – which is as good as the FPS used in movies.

The phone is a touch-screen dual SIM (GSM + GSM) variant and also has another feature - dual screen mode (phone screen mode and projector screen mode are simultaneously active). It comes with dual camera and a dual card memory slot of 8 GB each to expand the internal memory of 64 MB.

And the phone comes with the price tag of Rs 16,000 .. i guess it is nominal price for the features that are encorporated with this phone.

IBM adds Notes capabilities to LotusLive

IBM has upgraded its Lotuslive with additional features such as revamped emails,messaging, calendars, instant messaging and contacts. It has got an interesting set of collaboration tools which called as communities.

Communities is one of the major additions to lotuslive. Communities closely resembles with IBM's social networking software Connections, though it does not include the ability to create blogs and wikis.Anyways, Commuinities are usefull in cross-organization collabartions. Using this users can interact via discussion forums,project tracking tools ,bookmarks, filesharing and information tagging.

Users can deploy either a Web edition or thick-client software. Previously, LotusLive had offered Web-based e-mail for $3 per user per month, but the new messaging/calendaring service starts at $5 per user per month. In the new plan, each user is allotted 25 gigabytes of storage.

Coming to Lotus notes, there is no support for lotus notes provided yet But the service can be integrated with an enterprise's in-house Lotus Notes deployment, using internal LotusLive capabilities and IBM's Tivoli Directory Integrator.

IBM has integrated LotusLive with Tungle's scheduling and calendar applications allowing LotusLive users to schedule meetings across different calendaring applications and with Bricsys' software for sharing, viewing and annotating documents, with support for more than 70 document types.

Google's Liquid Galaxy environment open sourced for Google Earth

Liquid Galaxy by Google has been opensourced now. Liquid Galaxy is a cluster of computers running Google Earth to create an immersive experience. It started as a Google 20% project, and just kept growing.

you might never heard about liquid galaxy. Well this is a software designed to have a surround view that covers a users entire field of vision with images and 3D content, such as buildings, landscapes and various landmarks.

These Liquid Landscapes are placed accross the google offices around the world and they have also showcased these instruments in conferences. But now they felt it is pretty difficult to take this in to general public who can experience this awesome view of the geography.

So they decided to bring all the features of liquid landscape into Google Earth and it will be released to opensource communities so that users can build their own liquid galaxies. Google is going to release all of its Ubuntu sysadmin scripts and also mechanical design of the custom frames.

For the users who donot want to build their own , they can buy the complete system from its supplier.

Twitter Launches Promote Accounts

Twitter has annouced a new money making scheme !! Twitter has launched another application which allows users to advertise their products through twitter to more than 200 million users registered with twitter. Social networking was defined as one of most powerful media for marketing and twitter is ready to exploit its 200 million registered users..

By the way twitter has got new CEO "costolo" and Evan Williams who was earlier CEO, stepped down from the responsibilities as he wants to concentrate more on product developement.

Now, coming to Promoted Accounts, it allows advertisers to buy spots in the "Who To Follow" column placed beside a user's tweet stream. The feature is designed to help users discover other users with similar interests. For advertisers, it would serve as a way to pump up their following.

To make the feature more agreeable to members, the same algorithm that's used to suggest members a user should follow will also be used to determine if a promoted account should appear in the list.

There are two places on the screen where this promoted accounts is visible. One is on the "whom to follow " and other is at "suggestions for you" area on the right side of a user's Twitter home page.

This feature is still in testing phase and only few companies are participating at the initial stages.

Google's Project 10 to the one Hundredth- Declares $10 Million

Google has announced a project named "Project 10-to-the-one-hundredth", which is all about gathering the innovative ideas accross the world and then select 5 ideas which can change the world.

I have seen about this project way back in 2008, in a local news paper. There was a small article on this project and then when i checked in internet they had a site www.project10tothe100.com. Here we can submit our ideas and personal details.

Well the interesting thing is , even i have submitted an idea that is about connecting charities accross the world. But as expected it didnt get selected :) i dont mean they are bad at selection or am bad at my idea. But i say there were great ideas which can really change the world.

Google has annouced the names of the winners and alloted total of $10 million dollors prize money for the winnners.Google whittled the selection down to 16 "big ideas" and the public got to vote online to determine the five that would be backed by the Mountain View, California-based firm.

The non-profit Khan Academy will get two million dollars to bolster its free online library of educational videos and translate core works into the world's most widely spoken languages.

The African Institute for Mathematical Sciences in Cape Town will get two million dollars to open more centers to promote graduate level math and science study on that continent.

Non-profit group FIRST that promotes science and math study worldwide through team competitions will get three million dollars to start a robotics program for students.
Google will give two million dollars to Public.Resource.Org to support a Law.Gov initiative to make US court documents, statutes, legal forms, and other government documents easily available to anyone online.

The final award of one million dollars went to New Zealand-based startup Shweeb to develop and test a transportation system based on personal monorail pods powered by pedaling the way one might while riding a bicycle.

Well guys i keep you posted about such projects if i come accross in future. Who knows there is billgates among us... :)

Microsoft Windows phone 7 on October 21

Microsoft has annouced the much awaited news "Release of Windows phone 7". Microsoft is ready to launch a wide range of Windows phone 7 devices on October 21. Microsoft is gonna hold many launch events on oct 21 worldwide to launch windows phone 7.

Well they going to showcase their product on Oct 11 in Newyork city. Microsoft devices are going to hit the retails markets of France, Germany, Italy, UK and spain.

This time Microsoft is coming with a bang again i guess after their successful release of IE 9 and Windows 7. They have partnered with London based Radio station to promote this phone and also with twitter and youtube.

I have seen recenlty in a post where Microsoft employees celebrated funeral of iphone and blackberry. They strongly believe this will be one of their best products ever
